Thanks for that Jenny... I was trying to figure it out in my head . Couldn't imagine that the distance across planet would matter compared to distance to the moon... but then I often get the mechanics of solar and lunar eclipses muddled - so was not one hundred percent sure.

Isn't that an interesting thought then? I mean, we know how some people are affected by the moon (well, we're all at least 80% water or so if not more) , and that it tends to represent/affect emotions. So couldn't the lunar cycle affect the population's state of mind as a whole? I'm not talking about astrology here, but a physiological effect. If it were true, that might show up in something like the gcp dot. I was also thinking that the building and release language and also the 14th Oct date is also the run up to a full moon and might explain why the senses feel heightened running up to that.

I'm not trying to say that such things are only attributable to the moon (or they'd happen every month)..-esp as viking says the dot only last went red before 911 if I understand correctly - but that it might be a background factor and the timing of that is interesting.
