Good suggestion, dear Samarkis!
I signed the petition as well, but did not think of giving it forward, of informing other people. It shall be corrected now.

I also had the following to say at the thread, next door, 'Israel-Hamas arms embargo urged':

"We, the world, the so-called international community have been shamefully and cowardly watching on for way too long!
This horrible conflit is a clear and present threat to the world's peace, stability, security and progress and it should be dealt with as such:
according to Chapter 7 of the UN Charter.

The world, the UN, strongly backed by the US, should give an ultimatum to those two nations:
they MUST reach a just and humane peace, or FACE the rest of the world - NATO forces, UN Blue Helmets, internationale peacekeepers...

And if those two are already unable to solve their problem in a mature, civilized, responsible and ethical way, the world should appoint a team of specialists, historians, 'peacedealers'(eventually of Buddhist confession to guaranty complete objectivity and neutrality), which would take absolute, mandatory and irrevocable for all parties decisions leading to a resolution of this drama.
