Re: Moon Week March 27th - April 5th 2009. International Year of Astronomy
Yes they are great shots, John sure is a genius. I'm uploading all new moon vids to a new channel. Work has dried up for me in London so I've been pushed back into the music industry. I'm going to help John get a 16" scope.
This is the first video. It shows the Rima Hadley area but this time focuses on a particular area along the ridge. I have a glossy print out of this and it looks much better than the resolution in the video. I think with a 16"the uploaded resoluton and detail will be enough to crack this moon quest. enjoy! Re: Moon Week March 27th - April 5th 2009. International Year of Astronomy
This video starts off the same as the one above but watch the picture change by looking at the shadows. The area above the ridge sure does look more detailed when the shadows are this way. many astronomers are unable to capture images when the shadows are like this as during the days of the year this is possible it is usually overcast. These are rare images. Enjoy. I tried to do an HD version but the upload kept failing. Even so it's not too bad quality when viewed using the high quality option.
