Strange phone call from my pharmacist
I have been pondering this and it's driving me nuts..
The call came in at 2:06 today, the pharmacist(accent I never heard before) asked If I am Jurjan Stodder (yes that's my real name), And I said yes, this is she, he proceeds to tell me that my doctor had declined on my prescription (a refill) I told him I hadn't a clue of what he was talking about, That I hadn't seen any doctor for my meds in over 8 months, I asked him what the scripted was for,as all my scripts are done with, He said hold on let me check on that, puts me on hold ( music, silence, music) for about a minute, then comes back on and says, thank you, I am sorry for the inconvenience, have a good day. Am I paranoid or is something up, I have had issues with doctors and there stinkin pushed shots and so on through out my life, Also if the script was real why decline something I would need without a reason? And if it where real, why wait little over 8 months to inform me of this. |

Relax, I think you are a little over scared. My gut tells me that it's nothing but a new guy and an automatic refill that met up with some "rules" and then a reversal by someone else who works in the pharmacy department because it was a lot of extra work to deal with to fix it, and you weren't requesting a refill, anyway. Glad to hear that you can be off the meds.

Was the drug in question a controlled substance? Could be someone using your information to obtain narcotics.

Re: Strange phone call from my pharmacist
we don't trust doctors or pharmists
in 1991, we walked out for 520 days and, an et/tc essence twin/task companion walked in - while we were out, this one enjoyed challenging docs, etc., in 1993, in order, for the walk-in/and, us, to re-switch positions we got very ill with pneumonia... we were given 2 drugs for pneumonia --that actually gave us a heart attack and, since then, we make sure; that the pharmacy, has a name, that looks like our name, but, isn't our legal STRAWMAN name now, they have prescribed 3 drugs for the pneumonia ??? at least if they don't have my legal STRAWMAN name in their system, at the pharmacy, however, with all the systems, it is our opinion, that they could poison people, real easy, if they wanted too !!! likely a call, to scare you back onto the meds !!! any idea where the call originated from ??? |

You say that you've had past concerns about doctors "pushing" their gear on you, in a sense, some aspect of fear about the whole situation?
Maybe its manifested as a result of that fear, wheras in reality these doctors have no power over you. There is nothing they can do to you without your consent, you are their boss. Just a thought.. |

For some drugs the doctor can require you to come back in to check for side-effects. Some require a periodic blood or urine sample to check for kidney, liver, or bone marrow damage.
Think simple ... maybe the guy made a mistake on who he called - got off on the wrong line, and was supposed to call the person above or below you. |

Re: Strange phone call from my pharmacist
No, I was given the impression he knew what he was doing, I mean he got my name right and spelling, birthday correct, he gave the info first, and the last few docs i saw for any meds worked at a place called MHMR, its a walk in mental clinic.
The last 3 meds i was on at the time was Mirtazapine (3 months) before that was cymbalta and syriquil(sp)(3 moths) My fear is not them pushing there gear on me, that stopped over 15 yrs ago when they gave me a pnuemovax shot and i eneded up with full blown pneumonia. The paharmcist didnt tell me the name of the drug when I ask, or the doctor. It came from the pharmacy i usaully go to. I felt like i was being watched and i ussually dont scare that easy. No fears came over me till about 10 minutes after the call was done. |

Dear Jurjana, don't worry to much about this what happen to you because we, poets, have a inclination to fantasize and that can make us crazy. If you can, go and talk whit this person or office ... Sincerely, Monique.

Re: Strange phone call from my pharmacist
I all cooled down now, i just needed to vent it out and get some kind of input at the same time.
As for speaking with anyone I wouldn't know, as the people change all the time as for doctors there would be 3 and they dont always work at MHMR all the time the groups change to often. |

Re: Strange phone call from my pharmacist
Hi there! I think it's very true, that nobody can control yourbody, although maybe it felt that way in the past. No one can enter you one, unless you allow that to happen. Maybe this incident triggered something, that's very understandable I think. I am glad you're over it now.
