Where do you get your news? Post your sites...
This thread is inpired by this one : http://www.projectavalon.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=6374
The idea is for people to post which sites they read regularly so that we can form an overview via discussion regarding which ones are the most trustworthy. Here are some that I read to get started; http://voiceofthewhitehouse.blogspot.com/ -Fantastic politcal blog & comments on recent news items. http://www.dailygrail.com/ - A great site for off the wall news and some much need humor. http://tvnewslies.org/tvnl/index.php...ws-at-a-glance - Another great site but somewhat messy in appreance. Collects news form various sites in one place. Lots of pop ups. has good editorials sometimes. Good blog. http://www.wanttoknow.info/ -Very well organised site. Backed up with verifibale & reliable sources. http://georgewashington.blogspot.com...-have-now.html - Another fab blog - lots of articles on 9/11. Similar to prison planet but not as sensationalist! http://www.opednews.com/articles/ope...se_secreta.htm -This site is sometimes a bit dodgy and can contain unrelaible news http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/ - Not really a news sit but has Lots of articles on conspiracy research. Updated all the time. http://www.worldreports.org/news -Chris Storys site. Personally I think this is a fairly relaible site as Chris has a high profile history. http://www.rense.com - Has great articles – sometimes a little too one sided on certain subjects. www.prisonplanet.com - Alex Jones site. Great place for current articles relating to the NWO. Can be too sensationalist. http://www.fourwinds10.com/ - Massive pinch of salt recommend! http://goldismoney.info/forums/ - Great Economic website. Very good. Forum is very good. http://lucianarchy.proboards21.com/index.cgi - Best Ufology & Exopolitcs forum on the web. At the cutting edge http://www.911blogger.com/ - Best place for 9/11 news. 9/11 news from all over the web in one place. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world - Mainstream news, offers a bit more global depth than North American sources http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm - Awesome daily following the economic woes of the USA and more. http://therealnews.com/t/ -Mostly U.S. matters. Journalism classicly honed. They interview respected columnists and authors in regards to current events, and always provide good backround on the interviewee. Some editorials from intellectuals like Noam Chomsky and Gore Vidal. Little to no mention ever made of illuminati, NWO, and the like, but the subjects are still related. http://www.oldthinkernews.com/ - Fantastic site with very good political analysis. http://globalresearch.ca/ -Yet another very good site, call it a "peoples think tank". http://www.inteldaily.com/ - daily intelligence briefs from around the world. http://matrixnewsnetwork.com/ - A bit like prsion planet but without the sensationalism. The Husband & wife that run it are very likable and they also have special guests and produce a weekly surpresses / unreported news telelvision show which is fantastic and can been across various channels in the U.S and sky in the U.K. http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/word.htm Similar to the whistleblower stuff camelot used to post regularly. I find they are very good for health issues and also seem to have a more positive / spiritual slant than some of the other sites. http://sott.net - A bit biased but with endless information/study/file history to backup how they came to those conclusions.... http://www.johnpilger.com/page.asp?partID=3 -VERY respected UK jounalist. Author of New Rulers of the World and many more. One of the few mainstream reportors willing to tackle "our" subjects! http://www.projectcensored.org/ - great site and home of "the years 25 most unreported stories." http://whatreallyhappened.com/ Strips away the propaganda news..tells it how it is but is sometimes unrelaible. http://news.bbc.co.uk/ - Mainstrem but about as unbiased as you are going to get for a mainstream news service. Highly respected all over the world. Please feel free to add more or discuss how reliable you think the sites above are... Last edited by EYES WIDE OPEN; 12-14-2008 at 11:11 AM. |

http://www.prisonplanet.com/ is good but a bit sensationalist for me. Alex jones is a great researcher but too angry for my tastes.

Re: Where do you het your news? Post your sites...
I check them all out even the media news for the tickers. I find that information leeks out in the tickers that never get covered anywhere else. Interesting enough, I've found two stories there that were immediately retracted and lame excuses given for release of the information.
One such story was an earthquake tremor at the four corners in the US. Immediately after it ran it was stated that it was a mistake and the tremor was really in the Canadian Rockies...yeah okay. |

The Real News Network.
Non profit. User supported through donations. There is more extensive coverage here of U.S. matters, but world wide stories are also present. Their approach imo is journalism classicly honed. Interviews are kept on track well. They interview respected columnists and authors in regards to current events, and always provide good backround on the interviewee. The issues covered are purley news and current events, w/ some editorials from intellectuals like Noam Chomsky and Gore Vidal. Little to no mention ever made of illuminati, NWO, and the like, but the subjects are still related certainly. A pretty decent alternative news site imo. |

Re: Where do you het your news? Post your sites...
www.bbc.co.uk - not much in the way of "eye opening stuff" here but when there is, it's heavy hitting.
www.dailymail.co.uk - lots of spam on the right hand side, but the news is often quite controversial and plenty of public comments. infowars.com and prisonplanet.com are actually faves of mine because Alex 9/10 times simply links to mainstream media articles and this is exactly what we're after imho. http://www.knowledgedrivenrevolution.com/ http://www.inteldaily.com/ http://www.redicecreations.com/mustseeclips.html -useful perhaps for a few old videos. http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/ - some stuff here with little backing/sources etc but good at times. http://www.oldthinkernews.com/ Fantastic site with very good political analysis. http://globalresearch.ca/ Yet another very good site, call it a "peoples think tank" |

Save As... ,,DONE !
If the internet or power goes down, It's just shortwave on a portable......... http://www.primetimeshortwave.com/ a site that lists English language shortwave broadcast times and frequencies. Many Shortwave frequencies are changed twice a year (in the spring and Autumn _ clock change times) This information, therefore quickly becomes obsolete. |

Hi Eyes,
I was almost asleep last night and I was thinking of this thread and how it deserved a pin.
