As Waterman says, the colloidal silver knocks off the pathogens on contact. A tablespoonful can be gargled then swallowed after exposure to a crowd or at first sign of sore throat or cough. Or a spray bottle is handy for a whiff into the mouth,might be good idea for young child, and maybe into nose. I've sprayed into eyes at a hint of an infection, and a few drops in the ear is a great remedy for swimmer's ear. And, quite off topic, I use spray one for a deodorant. Aloha, bushycat

Due to the post dates one of the main posts in a thread I merged into this one appears at the top.

The only problem I see is that people with compromised immune systems like myself are taking prescription medications. My concern is that with all treatments except the vitamin C, there may be serious interactions with those medications or the treatment may leech that medication completely out of your system. My particular concern is the diabetes drugs. If I take the silver treatments won't this alter my uptake of the medicatons?

This treatment could be lethal to people like me. Our area is rampant with the new flu strain and so far I have had no symptoms. I know it's only a matter of time before it hits most people but I'm taking the usual flu precautions (no vaccines thank you).
