KissYouTube

1. Whenever you are watching video on YouTube, goto the address bar at the top of your browser.
Notice the URL is something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKMm4XBsqhk

2. Just in front of the youtube.com domain name, insert the word 'kiss'.
Eg. http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=VKMm4XBsqhk

3. Press the 'Enter' key and it will bring you to this website. Click on the download link provided to save the video to your computer.

NOTE: Remember to save your video with ".flv" extension. Eg. some_video_filename.flv.
Then download the free flv player we recommend to play the video.

Mac users

YouTube Video Grabber is a Mac OS X program that will resolve the internet address for YouTube flash video files from YouTube Web page URLs and allow users to download and convert the flash video files to Quicktime MOV files.

Do you need another toolbar? I have one from http://www.ant.com/toolbar which has one button for all downloads. Soooooo easy!

For people using the Firefox browser there is a free add-on call Download Helper that works well.

The easiest way for those with Firefox, the best way by far is to go to

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox

on the left hand side select "PLUGINS"

On the plugins page you will see "RealPlayer"

Select the operating system you are running, download the .exe file
Go to where your .exe file was saved to, and double click the download to extract and install it.

It will install RealPlayer on your puta, and you can set it up by under the tools area i think, so that whenever you visit a yahoo or google site etc that has a download, a popup will appear at the top of the video that you can click to download the video.

Works like magic, no cutting and pasting to be done at all.

you could just do without the whole firefox plugin and just download realplayer!
