Default Why the World Won't Wake Up

I got my wake up call about 15 years ago and was ridiculed for my ideas.
I've been really shocked at the stubborness of the average person to remain in their "Ignorance is Bliss" and What I don't Know Won't Hurt Me" state of mind.
A perfect example of why this planet won't wake up in time( if at all)are the economic problems in the USA and the resulting stimulus "package".Regardless of why the govt did it, The avg American was given 300$-over $1000 dollars to spend so that more money would circulate and at least make things look better in the short term.So what did the avg AmericaN do with that $?According to the financial reporting i saw, they spent it on internet porn and Wal-Mart.As most of us know ,Wal-mart is basically a gigantic vacuum cleaner that sucks money out of america and into China. No economic circulation there. Then we have the internet porn.I think some "stimulation" happened but i don't think it had much effect on the economy.
Regardless of whether the Stimulus Package was a good idea or not, This kind of foolishness by the avg person living in America shows why the world will not wake up to it's stupidity and mistakes. If their is one subject that Americans in particular should understand consequences, it's with $money$.The only way people in general are going to really change,Is when they lose their material possesions. When the electricity goes off. When they can no longer be distracted by the non-sense that is modern day rat race society.
I know a lot of people want to see the best in people, but people in general are Dicks, and the more money and freedom you give them, the bigger dick they become.I know I'm ranting and stating the obvious,But i think it needed to be said.I lost my faith in people long ago, but I am thankful to have met some people on this site who are obviously on the same level as me.Most of you have probably been ridiculed for your ideas as well.Remember that the people who ridiculed you are either at Wal-Mart or on the internet sleaze sites right now.

I don't think its fair to generalize others like this. I will never set foot in a Wal-mart again and I did not blow my stimulus money on cheap stimulation.
To make such generalizations, reeks of elitism.

I don't think i generalized at all.The stats say that the economic bounce went to wal mart and internet porn.I was making a point as to why "some" people wont change.People are going to do what they want regardless of the circumstances or consequences. If you doubt me you'll be waiting an awfully long time for some kind of mass enlightenment or wake up by the general public.Thier is a reason they are reffered to as the "general public" by the way.

According to ancient prophecy, there will be a time when the human race will reach a critical mass that will force a vibrational shift within the collective psyche. I believe we're nearing this point. There ARE lots of people waking up...it's all around us and it's understandable that most of them remain quiet. It's true that most are still sound asleep to their pathetic materialistic lives, but gradually, this shift IS occuring. There will be many in for a majorly rude awakening.

You can look down the role of answers and quite literally pick out the ones who will live and whom will roll over and play dead until they are in a 'blessed' FEMA camp because they lost the plot....if there ever was a plot? Anyhow, every second item I type gets ******* or 'lost' so be it. People don't wake up because it is so late in the nightmare that it would demand immediate action to make it otherwise. Good luck to that ROFLMAO. See Ya'll on the otherside of this mess...

We need a Visual REVOLUTION!!! bc some people are just not shown anything. They have censored there own lives as well as being censored and there perception on reality is way too linear , tunnel vision like a matha. Positive Peaceful Visual revolution! by the way.

You live in one of the most backward places I have ever been. Its like going back in time 50 years in Iowa. Erie. People are greedy there, people are for the most part just plain jerks unfortunatly. I have found oppressed people to be on gaurd and mean spirited where all or most hope is taken from them. Perspective and attitude is everything.

What finacial reports did you use for your judgement on mankind? I had to spend mine looking for work so most wentt in the tank. The economic stimulus was a joke from the get go. Far too little too late. Its no ones business where people spent it. Hopefully it made a few people happy.

Lemons and lemon aide, you know?

I tend to agree with the "critical mass" concept. Thought processes have been changing gradually. Cigarette smoking, for instance, is a good barometer...people have begun to wake up in that respect. I've even heard that nowadays, more kids have tried marijuana than have tried cigarettes...20 years ago most high school aged 'kids' smoked...including myself...it was the "cool" thing back then. Smoking has fallen out of fashion, for the most part.
I see that as a step in the right direction. Sure, there have been quite a few maladaptive behaviors which took the place of smoking, although I don't see them as being as wide spread or as common.

I disagree with the premise that 'most' people are "dicks"...only because I understand this: you'll find what you seek...if you think most people are negative...you'll see those results...the converse is true as well.

I truly live a charmed life...because that's what I seek. The power of attraction does work. You can and will attract whatever you believe.
imho.

The truth is that I agree with Mikill, but to be fair to the majority of asleep humanity - the conspiracy has been so great - religion, education and almost all social interaction covers up reality. Therefore, its too much to expect for everyone to remove the blinders immediately.

All words are broken,
all bridges that link one land of comunication to another,
are ruined. Such a shadow covers our face that the contrast of all things are now hued in a differant strange yet unseen color.

Taint, a tainted fowl stench is spreading across the land.

For those that have the sight,
it is now time to prepare. Do not bother with words any longer,
meditate and think what it will be you do in these hard times.

PEACE

Mikill…
You have just contradicted yourself. Your moaning that folk need to wake up, then you mention about the stats on peoples spending habits. Aren’t these stats controlled by the powers that be to fool the masses into a false reality?
Folk are waking up in their own way. Slowly as it seems, but they are waking up.
Plus David Icke has mentioned that you don’t need everyone to wake up, just a certain amount will trigger everyone else’s consciousness. 100 monkeys

Mikill I feel ya, I am surrounded by people who are very brainwashed and defend their POV with the faith of a child, because that is what they are essentially. Afraid of seeing the ugly truth, they cling to the lies and propaganda so they can carry on with the materialistic pursuits and ego gratification unhindered.

However, the 100th Monkey effect is real and will make a difference. I believe I have benefited from this in my own life-I absorbed the lessons of hippy culture and the consciousness raising of the 60's even though I was born too late to participate in that zeitgeist...no one I knew as a child promoted these values-in fact they ridiculed them, but they are a part of me and always have been. That didn't happen from watching Sesame Street.

''I'd rather die 10 years before my time, and look cool every freakin' second..''

sorry just had to add that after reading the smoking comment, it's a personal choice really, of course I'm aware that it does absolutley nothing for you, spiritually.

people really are slowly waking up all around me, or at least becoming more open minded towards some of the subjects that I talk about.... Indeed I was ridiculed so much when I first sort of, stepped out of line. I remember one girl getting so emotional and defencive with me after I'd made one small remark on the falseness of 9/11... she replied

''I find it sick and offensive for anyone to imply our government were responsible!!''

basically told me that I was insulting the people who were harmed
on the contrary
I then told her I found it sick and offensive that she would so blindly believe in their little tale, and if anything, that was an offense to the dead.

I guess some people will just never wake up, luckily some of my close family are and are trying to take action to get off the grid and supply our own solar energy, that's what I like doing, waking up the people who can really make a difference..... screw that girl.

Rareheart good point, we are what we seek. This is why I feel the time is now to help generate only positive thoughts into the head of the man who will soon lead the U.S. If we leave it up to him, we'll only have more of the same. Time for CHANGE. We all need to meditate and channel the positive changes we want into Obams's or McCain's head.

Years ago I stated:
5% thinks, 95% are sheep.
That was at a time I still had confidence in people.

Now I realise I was far too optimistic.

Do I see myself as an elite?
Actually yes. No use denying it.
No use to feel 'more' than anyone else or having more rights.

But I won't let myself be drawn back into that pool of oblivion.
People who don't want to change: Stay behind and enjoy the rest of your days.
People far ahead: Don't wait, don't let me slow you down.

Yes, I am an elitarian.
Most of the time I feel alone but very happy.
Are there any more wanderers around?
Traveling people?
We'll meet at the fair one day...

I have to agree with Topper and Rareheart here...

You will only see what you believe...if you think people are mean and hateful...then that is what you will attract...

If you think people are loving and caring...and really want to change...for the better...then that is what you attract.

I welcome anyone to join me in prayer and meditation for a positive future. One of Peace, Love, and Unity.

Love,
Brian

Peer, I can definitely relate to you...be a wanderer myself.

But we need to do what we came here for...and that is to HELP the process.

Don't forget what you are here...to LEARN from OUR mistakes.

Of course, you are welcome to do as you please, and I would hope that whatever path you choose you do so with oneness of being.

Hope is a very hard thing to cling to...especially when people seems to be so...resistant to truth or guidance.

Don't give up yet...it isn't over till it is over...the future isn't written in stone...remember?!

Peace, Love, and Unity,
Brian
