Default Ron Paul and Freemasonry

This is something I've had in the back of my mind for some time.

I don't know what to think.

From http://aftermathnews.wordpress.com/2...d-freemasonry/:

Ron Paul speaking at Georgetown Jesuit University, alma mater of Carroll Quigley and Bill Clinton. Note the Freemasonic symbols on the wall behind him.

What do members think? Is Ron Paul a 33rd degree Freemason, and if so, does it matter?

Ron Paul is a baptist. Do you know those guys? They are the ones who have the harshest, sternest and most faithful adherence to the letter of the Scripture from all the denominations. I don't know him personally but Dr. Paul certainly does not feel from his MO and curriculum as someone who would become a mason for any reason.

And that he was once speaking in a hall constructed by masons proves nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Oh and by the way, the Tree of Life and other symbolism in masonry are thoroughly innocent ways to express a certain outlook on the reality of the Universe. If there is corruption within the halls of the Masons, it is against the spirit the author of masonry had in mind when he created the rite.

You must remember that not all freemasons are bad and evil. I know many that are members. They are all low degree and are very good people. Just because one is a member does not mean that they cannot be working for the good side. Actions speak volumes and Ron Paul is doing much good.

That hall is certainly masonic!
