Hi all
You might think I am mad with this one but, last night at 1730 ish UK time the moon was full, actually quite big and above the houses. Tonight at 1830 uk time, it is no where to be seen!. Stars are out in force, its a crisp clear night, so am I being super thick expecting to see it again?? |

The moon rises about one hour later each night. In so doing it orbits the earth in about 28 days (depending on how you measure it).

Hey Ammit,
Don't you mean 'numpty'? I tried the Urban dictionary, but 'nunky' doesn't exist (yet). Or is it a Weymouth term? We certainly don't use it in Lytchett. I'm down your way on the 16th Jan to see a band playing at the Rumshack. Best get yerself down there if you want to see something special. http://www.theworriedmen.com/index.shtml |

Re: Ok, I give up, where is the moon tonight?
put your hands up to the moon
like a 3 sided shape thumbs to thumbs fingers to fingers like a triangle/or pyramid and, put that out, and, up to the moon and, as, you peer through the energetic eXpression that flows through your hands, in that shape, and, up a the moon you will see your own aura, reflected back to you !!! off the reflection of the moon !!! (we can NOW see, 4 auric triangular energetic moons + the actual moon, much like a 12 pointed spark, along with The ORiGiNAL SPARK energies) iT iS a pretty neat type of eXperiment (that proves 12 + 1 = 13) Last edited by THE eXchanger; 01-02-2010 at 09:48 PM. |

As above, didnt work for me, maybe i had my hands wrong, only thing i did notice was sound was disturbed, like someone very quickly turning it on and off. Then again it might have been my bloodpreasure as i do have large arms...

That is very neat. It's around midnight here in Cyprus. I'm about to take my dogs for a walk. I'll give my feedback when I return. Thanks. |

Re: Ok, I give up, where is the moon tonight?
Just did that, saw a cloud drift across the moon with all the colors of the rainbow. Orion was there too, but i could only see the four corner stars, the belt was only there by inference, still looking for sirius, anyway a lot of light polution here.
By the way the moon is about 10 degrees lower in the north and east than it was last night, look over the mountain ammit |

Re: Ok, I give up, where is the moon tonight?
Hi Guys, Well the moon was almost directly overhead at about 80 degrees. At first it didn't work, so I tried forming a V shape with my index and middle finger, and yes infact I did see a glow around my hand. Then I tried again as you instructed it was not a pronounced as your results. Maybe it was because the moon was too high in sky.
