Looking to contact peiple in the Dublin Area
If you live in Dublin and are interested in getting organized and prepared for future events, please send me an email to jondbomb@yahoo.co.uk.
We can do alot more together than alone, agreed? For me, at least it would be good to meet people with the same interests / concerns about the next few years, cause the only response I get from people is laughter or patronisation, to the point where I don't even bother to mention it anymore. I cannot belive how many people around me are totally programmed like this, they are sheep or maybe asleep ( friends included ). So, if this kinda sounds like you, we got somthing in common so please get in touch. Merlin. |

Hiya Merlin, good to see you.
" We can do alot more together than alone, agreed? " Totally agree with ye. Hopefully we all, if not most, can get together in the near future.., after all it's not that big of a place. I would have thought there would be a lot more Dub's on board, but sure it's early days yet for this forum. If we can all visit here frequently and get some dialogue going regarding a first meeting as soon as possible, that'd be great. Tom |

Re: Looking to contact peiple in the Dublin Area
Hi Merlin,
Things seemed to have slowed down a bit and I was wondering if people are just having a quick glance to see what is on the threads, instead of creating threads, thus provoking discussion and interaction of some sort. I mean, it's not as 'tho us Paddies are ever lost for words. Ye'd think after all the years of waiting for a forum like this, where we can talk to fellow country men and women of likemind, that ye wouldn't get a word in edgeways. Can ya imagine being able to have a decent conversation with a group of people, on topics that are extremely serious without been laughed at and still have the craic over a pint or whatever. As the song says, "....the irish are a very funny race, sir,..said the man from the Daily Mail " All the best, Tom |

Howaya Robbie,
I started this post a good while ago, I reckon you might be better off posting on the "Post here if from Ireland thread" Thats where we all seem to be posting these days. As for meeting others see my post on said thread and post away. Merlin. |
