So, What's your idea of paid subscription guys?

Hi Folks,

Long time no read eh?. Now that the owners of the forum dediced to go for paid subscribtion, what will your actions be?..Whats your opinion? Stay or Leave..?

For me, I'll still stick around for my general and daily reading, and wait for the final outcome of the paid subscription decesion. Its not the money but the mentality. They could have used methods of Advertising instead.

So...lets hear...

btw, don't you think they have thought about all the other options? I don't think they are stupid. Ya gotta do what you gotta do eh!!

Well, to make some points clear;

1- I'm not judging Bill and Kerry for their decision on making this forum a paid one. BUT; there are other ways to raise funds for your expenses which I won't get into since most of you are aware.

2- I can understand the need to eliminate the rotten from the fresh, paid subscription is one of them but, you accidently eliminate the undeserved ones.

3- I will stay here and be a good observer but for now I won't subscribe as of yet...will do so if I ever feel a need for it, since 5 bucks a month won't make me poorer or richer.

4- I love both Bill and Kerry for what they are and what they do.

Oh no..by all means they are not stupid..Looks like they have no chioce. I'll just wait and see how this membership think folds then decide on.

By"we" I meant the members of Turkiye forum. (oh yes.. I'm member of a campaign working hardly to change our countrys' name to Turkiye officialy in English. We do not like to be consumed as food during holidays...)

I havent been following the duscussion regarding paid subscription.
1.From when?
2.How much?
3.Will I be able to see posts- but not log on, or how is it meant to be?

Dont think i´ll pay though, there is other sites. Avalon has not been solemnly positive for me, too damn many fearmongers around.
