we knew this is coming.

"They just started selling Breathable Air"

"The global banking cartel, which is sitting at the top of all the megacorporations running the whole planet, is running out of options to squeeze and milk the population. They just started packing and selling air from the Swiss Alps.

A bad sign of worse things to come.

A Swiss start-up is bottling fresh air from Switzerland to sell to residents of heavily polluted cities like those in China and India.

According to the company, the air is collected from various locations around the Swiss Alps and compressed into an aerosol can. It comes with an attached face mask to assist with breathing.

A seven-liter can of air cost 19.95 Swiss francs ($21) and contains enough air for over 120 breaths, which is around ten minutes of use.

“This product is for a population who live with terrible pollution every day, a pollution that may shorten their lives and cause debilitating health problems. One can of Swiss air is not the answer to their problems, but it is so nice to be able to breathe clean, fresh air even for a little while,” said the company’s CEO Danny Wurr.

Wurr said he expected his new company to become “a major world player in the new breathable air market,” confirming the first batch of orders had been already completed. He added the company is seeking investors to facilitate its rapid growth.

People in Switzerland may feel “bewildered” by the concept of bottled air “as they can already breathe nice clean, fresh air just by opening the door,” Wurr said.

The company also targets the European commuter market. “I heard the London underground was over 35 degrees this summer, I am sure they would love a breath of clean, fresh air down there, I know what it’s like to have your nose stuck in someone else’s armpit on the tube,” said Wurr.

He explained scores of Chinese tourists in the Swiss Alps buy fresh air which is “of course one of the main reasons why they come to Switzerland on holiday.”

“China is already buying air from Canada and Australia, we feel Swiss alpine air is better still.”

It’s not the first time Swiss air has been on sale. In February another company started shipping $167-dollar jars of fresh air from the Swiss Alps across the world to those in need of clean air. The magic fresh air is taken directly from a “secret location” in the Swiss Alps, the company said.

Keeping the details of the exact location of extraction… this is exactly what scams are made of. Well, the whole thing really is a scam considering that after they have destroyed the whole biosphere, they are now seeking to further profit from its outcome.

Sorry, but how can you sell something that's inherently free? Its fresh air - how can it be patented or owned? Ok, I'm not business oriented & I'm obviously not 'getting it' - its my knee-jerk reaction...
Yes, i'm definitely with the 'bewildered' citizens of Switzerland on this one!

Stop all of the manufacturing plants in China that burn fossil fuels, problem solved.
Pretty simple solution but difficult to implement, methinks.

This is an amazing example to use to reflect upon where we are as a civilization. Most people will shake their head in bewilderment, but what about those few who might anticipate this product with some excitement and anticipation? This product could be the product that helps some people wake up to what we have really done to our home.

As silly as this product sounds, I am saddened by the fact that there are people on this planet that could really use it.

An interesting thought to add; my instant feelings and reactions when I read the article linked in the thread about selling fresh air are very similar to what I felt when I first found out about bottled water being sold.

OMG sadness.

Work all day in the heavily polluted area/country that you live in just to be able to buy food and the air to breath :(

Plenty of home air cleans on the market if you can afford them, afford to run them.
Now it is time to make wearable mobile air cleaner/mask system, then you can walk/work as if you are on another planet :(

Same goes for our inland water supplies ans the seas.
It's a commercial world, even the Whales and porpoises eat shopping bags and packaging, seeing it as food :(

All this happening so that some one can make extra money and not clean up their act/businesses.
we have so polluted/polluting this our home

Canned or bottled air. The inimitable Mel Brooks made direct reference to this in his film "Spaceballs." Some 20 or so years ago.

Heck, how many people have you seen walking or wheeling around with an oxygen tank strapped on? Lots.

They've nearly destroyed all natural resources, so fleece everyone even more by commercializing, privatizing and profiteering Mother Nature and her natural processes.

I remember when it was a joke if someone said "the next thing you know they'll be selling us bottled water." The boiling frog syndrome is alive and well. ;)

What a rip-off. First of all I very much doubt they climb the alps just to fill bottles with air. The air could be coming from anywhere. This is a pretty vile enterprise imo, and I hope it fails hard.

For what it's worth, there is already breathable air that you can buy. It's called oxygen cylinders for medical use.

A common example being D Size 540L Oxygen Cylinder - FULL (https://www.spservices.co.uk/item/SabreMedical_DSize540LOxygenCylinder-FULL_0_28_1616_1.html) sold pre-filled, and retailing at £208 for a 540L product - which works out at about 38p per litre. That's a lot better deal than bottled swiss air, which seems to be ~£2 per litre (or 3$).

circa 1974/75 I was in Switzerland, just a boy, touring with family. We noticed many tourist shops sold cans of (Swiss) fresh air. It was of course a gimmick that tourists could buy to take home as gifts etc, not terribly expensive but worthless in reality.

This modern version is horrible by comaprison, a sociopathic capitalists' wet dream.

I told you corporations want to "sell life resources." Stuff people have to have to live. They buy up all the springs, bottle the water and some just osmosis it in filtration. If the same corporate octopus monopoly that is also in the medicine, oil and gas conglomerates stock holders, who will profit if the air's so messed up you have to buy chemical air like on Total Recall. The same with dropping coal debrie waste in our fishing streams with all the heavy lead and mercury, then they own the water for sale. The vaccines, insure illnesses and the years to look for them in a body, according to their own studies, they keep from the public, when they create the tainted vaccines.

Good grief - it makes oxygen bottle refills (for aircraft) - or scuba tanks for divers - look cheap!( (LOL NZ could make a killing selling our air to the Chinese - we already sell our water to them! Geeeeez,... I shouldn't joke - someone probably will!)

Our children are already getting used to the material buy it world. Air was Creator's gift for us to breathe. Water to hydrate our bodies so we don't die and cleanse the body of toxins. The land was able to cleanse itself in one seasonal year, if allowed to have all the seasons fall on it without growth and rejuvenate. Ergo the commandment to let the farm field rotate at rest.
