While i'm on the theme of Mind/body medicine i thought i would post a few of my "work arounds" that assist me to function better.

I use this program to help with my brain issues, specifically my poor working memory.
Its open source and for both Mac and PC. There have been also studies done proving its effectiveness. The trick is of course to use it consistently , which is a challenge for me, but i do my best...

A recent study published in PNAS, an important scientific journal, shows that a particular memory task called Dual N-Back may actually improve working memory (short term memory) and fluid intelligence. This finding is important because fluid intelligence was previously thought to be unchangeable. The game involves remembering a sequence of spoken letters and a sequence of positions of a square at the same time.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that the dual n-back task also enhances focus and attention and may help improve the symptoms of ADHD/ADD.

There is also a mail group u can join to chat to others that use it, i find it very useful!!
Many use it to increase their IQ. Heres a video the developer made as a tutorial...
