I'm with you Bill - we just have zero conception of the true scale of the universe, this has been dumbed down and made prosaic but the vastness and richness of this universe is so staggeringly colossal that even if you are an unimaginative skeptic the mathematics alone rules out us being the only sentient life, by the sheer rules of probability, human beings are pretty darned improbable to begin with!

The video in question is interesting but taken alone is evidence of nothing. If we are to believe it at face value, then it is evidence for time travel and adaptation, evolution if you prefer, nothing more.

Lets please not forget the Drake equation of between 1000 and 100,000,000 potentially advanced races within our own galaxy. Absolutes confuse or negate the search for truth, so called. The only absolute truth about our galaxy is that other than what we can view through a telescope or logically deduce through mathematics, we know very little about our galaxy or the universe it wanders within.

I like to say , its like saying there is only one fish in the ocean... Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they are not there... We are just one type of fish in a very vast cosmic ocean... Not to mention that so many different varieties of these fish live at completely different depths of water. Those swimming on the lower layers have zero knowledge of those species swimming in the shallows. They would explode if brought near the surface.

Not only the physical distance, but I was subtly hinting at something else as well. Dimensions. Layers, frequencies, densities of existence. The cosmic ocean analogy of deep waters ascending to the lighter, upper waters correlates quite well to the dimensional layer cake of how I view reality.
