I have beenwatching all the pot documentaries of the sick that recorded their healing and on Netflix they have a few with Docs and AMA did a study about ten years ago and that's when the truth began to leak out.

I am not sure why this series has to call cannabis the "Sacred Plant" and make everyone wonder what it is instead of just telling everyone that it's cannabis?
I have watched many, many documentaries on cannabis and from watching this 1st part it appears that all that has been done is used information that has already been put out to the public through other documentaries and talks.
It's always great to have more publicity on cannabis and what it can do for people and their health.
I guess after seeing so many great documentaries on cannabis and treating health conditions with it I'm not sure this one can live up to past ones....
This is my take on the 1st part of the series of 7.
Worth a watch but this information has already been past on many times....

I have a garden ready to be used to grow it but I doubt I will ever be allowed to do it. I once grew 3 plants at a different address. I hid them behind a row of runner beans. What a daft situation we are in.

This series has shocked me. It's obvious that cannabis is not and never has been rightly a class A restricted drug even by 'their' own standards. I didn't know before that one of the criteria for a class A drug has to be that it has NO medical use value. It has always been known to have medical use value. Come to think of it, even opium has a medical use value as a pain killer. The law is a complete crock.

It's name was switched to Marijuana at exactly the same time that it was banned, so as to trick the people who otherwise might have put up a fight to stop that happening.

I don't know where we go from here. The cost of buying it will be hopelessly restrictive until it can be legally grown in large amounts again. A tiny few grams for an extortionate cost isn't going to allow for a revolution in health care. The people using it to treat cancer etc, in this video series, are using massive amounts of it.

I just finished watching the last episode of this series and learned so much more than from the first one. I live in California so it is legal here (barely). There are so many restrictions that it isn't easy to even grow for your own usage. My city now says I can grow 6 plants inside and 2 outside if they are 10 feet from the property line and cannot be seen from the street. I do what I have to to grow my medication.

I think the word is finally getting out that this prohibition in the first place was pure racist propaganda inflicted upon us 80 years ago by a handful of rich and powerful men who wanted to stay that way!

I am doing my part by talking to people (who will listen) about the truth about cannabis and about how it was made to look like an evil weed so long ago.

I do hope this series was seen my enough people that it at least makes them stop and think.

With Canada being the first country to fully and properly legalize marijuana , I can see a storm of activity already brewing in the landscape as everyone prepares. Even though not fully legalized yet, many companies are already becoming extremely profitable and very successful in selling shares. Massive grow farms are popping up everywhere, provinces are scrambling to get their control mechanisms in place.

Each province has their own jurisdiction on how exactly they control and distribute - some provinces maintaining full monopoly (Ontario) while others will likely have it privatized (Alberta). It looks like that marijuana laws will closely mimic Alcohol and/or tobacco laws and distribution regulations will be similar.

While the governments are trying to maintain distinction between medical and recreational use - there's a huge blurry line between the two. Medicinal distribution will be focused around convenience and consistency for the patient, but there will be many rec users who will get their "doctor's note" to also take advantage of this.

Home growers will have laws similar to tobacco in that regard - with tobacco you are legally allowed to grow one plant for personal use, with Cannabis the word is that four plants will be allowed for personal use (might vary by province).

Right now all the focus is on medicinal and recreational use, but I imagine it won't be long at all before all the other wonderful uses that hemp is known for (by some), will also soon be in the market, competing with big chemical, and other industries. If Henry Ford lived in this day in age he would be able to actualize his dream of making car body parts out of hemp fibreglass, an engine that runs on fuel from fermented hemp, and the tools that an owner would need to make his own fuel.

One huge question that came up with the legalization is that when Canadians cross the border into the US, one of the standard questions is "have you done any drugs in the last blah blah blah time period?", or even more specifically "have you ever used marijuana?". It may allow border guards to deny Canadians entry into US. Wonder how that is going to be handled? :)

Thought I'd share here...you guys ever heard of Cannasense? Earlier this year I heard about them in an interview on the Clyde Lewis show and was impressed with what they had to offer. Check out their website and listen to the interview when you have time:

Apparently they've set up a system that allows patients in all 50 states to legally buy medicinal cannabis. You pay a membership fee of around $400 and it allows access to the product and a discount and legal assistance should you ever get hassled! Billing and shipping is entirely discreet. If I remember correctly they've been in business for 13 years without any problems. The people behind the company were Ron Paul supporters so they know the laws well! Many of Paul's supporters have been advocates for medical cannabis. I'm not sure if they carry organic cannabis but if you're looking for a source in the U.S. they could be worth researching. After watching a few of the Sacred Plant episodes I could see Cannabis being an important every day supplement worth taking even if you're not sick as really it's all about prevention and not waiting to get sick before you do something about it.
