Just watched the Alien Devastations episode and in my opinion is the most biased episode of the hole series...

The have have started this series as neutral as possible giving almost equal time to the ancient astronauts theorists and the skeptics... then the skeptics have been dropped and now in the last episode they try to demonize the aliens. Also lots of doom and gloom about 2012 and the Mayan calendar...

I agree undeadpixel. Doom-fest it was, and noticably different from the tone of previous episodes. And no Graham Hancock either. It almost turned into that 2012 special that Wilcock was so sorry to be involved in. I hope this series gets back off the fear porn track next episode.

I love this series, and I have to say I did notice a bit of the doomsday sensationalism in the last episode. It is valid to think that we may have visitation from warring alien species in the coming years, though. The idea that this was going on in ancient times is backed up by more than just the art. If that is true, then the return of these same species might bring more of the same. That is, unless they made peace while they were gone. Who knows?

I know season 2 has wrapped up, and I really hope that there will be a third. I have seen all of the episodes at least twice, and I am very drawn to the subject.

In the opening sequence of each episode it says in the audio narrative:

Some believe we have been visited in the past from Extraterrestrials beings. What if it were true? Did ancient Aliens really help to shape our world? And if so, did they concentrate around specific locations?

Could a better understanding of ancient visitation unlock the secrets behind some of the worlds most mysterious Places?

Ok, so then the graphics start in opening sequence with questions written, coming towards the screen.

1. Who were they?
2. Why did they come?
3. What did they leave behind?
4. Where did they go?
5. Will they return?


Now I found this very interesting. In one sense they are saying “what if” in audio voice.
Then they use the written word implying they are real, have been here.

Saying two things at once.

I very much enjoyed the series myself and I wish my Dad were still alive. He always felt ET was a real possibility but was reluctant to speak freely due to his generation paradigm. This series would have brought him forward to more of an understanding and would of felt not so ‘Alien’ in his ideas. Even I at that time was reluctant to speak freely. Not so now of course.

The final episode of the season was pretty fear laden, it was also aired on Dec 23rd when very few people would be watching, so who knows? Great series, have recommended to many people. My wife who is a skeptic enjoyed it thouroughly (much more than i expected she would).
