I read recently that the Rockefeller foundation had sold their oil shares because it 'wasnt clean energy'. Strange since granddaddy Rockefeller had made the family fortune on this dirty energy. My guess is they had insider info on this coming energy market shift that they could not stop, as described in the following article.

Another thing mentioned in the following article is the current high prices in battery storage prices. Recent research from many sources has indicated that high priced batteries may soon be a thing of the past, with more efficient, cheaper batteries coming made of such materials as hydrocarbons.

Another topic of concern to mention is that many governments have signed huge debt guarantees for energy supply that could possibly bankrupt them if the energy market dives.

Still, we should all welcome cheap clean energy. For instance, with really low electricity costs, desalination of ocean water could help irrigate millions of square kilometers of the world's deserts, turning them into vast farms and living areas.

The Italian company ENEL has signed a bid to make solar power at 1.7 cents per kilowatt hour, a new record low that experts say will allow it to easily compete with fossil fuel plants even with the added cost of battery storage. (Max Rossi/Reuter)

A new world record price for electricity set earlier this month signals a radical disruption in global energy markets — and Canada, whose economy was once powered by some of the world's cheapest electricity, will not escape the effects.

The new price, described by the news site Electrek as the cheapest electricity on the planet, was less than 2 cents per kilowatt hour, "part of a pattern marching to 1 cent per kWh bids that are coming in 2019 (or sooner)," the site declared.

The record was not set in a place where energy is traditionally cheap. Nor is it from a traditional electricity source.

Low bids

The new low price of 1.7 cents per kilowatt was part of a contract between the Italian multinational ENEL Green Power and the Mexican government agency that administers the country's electricity wholesale market.

It was just one of a series of low bids, including from Canadian Solar — the company founded by former Ontario Hydro engineer Shawn Qu — to make electricity from sunlight.

Exactly! - As I already wrote in September (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?99791-Elon-Musk-Magically-Extends-the-Battery-Life-of-Tesla-Vehicles-Fleeing-Hurricane-Irma&p=1179971&viewfull=1#post1179971)
And I believe graphene batteries (or better) will finally make power lines redundant, meaning all home appliances will run on very-long-lasting batteries.:p
Am I naive? Well - I basically also foresaw smartphones and netbooks before they came out.

So devplan, does grabat sell any of those graphine batteries? I couldn't get more info from their website from a link in one of your posts.

Tesla is currently building a mass storage facility for South Australia (batteries) to ensure the grid feed is maintained - they had big issues last year. So yes batteries are certainly gaining in efficiency and application!

Yes, after the 2nd election of Bush, Rockerfella started dumping stocks. Progressives put their agenda out. Google "Progressive Agenda" it's made from all the political spectrum voters/rural and city:thumbsup:. During elections before candidates announce for President or other governmental office, the grassroot people talk. Voters discussed the need for Green energy, Cleaner Air filtration devices, and ocean desalinization and social affordable homes structured like rural, yet everything needed like laundry, cleaners, grocery, barber shops, malls, and other businesses all withing walking distance.;) The Uber and Lyft system is similar except the city is just doing bicycles now, where you slip your pay card in a slot, the key pops out for the bike, and you go, when you return the bike, like a dvd rental the price for the day ride comes up, when you put the key back in the slot after locking it. All your responsibility is to return the key and pay, but you got to ride all day, or just to do a few errands or just exercise. There is also plans for self driving cars or golf carts to get around for seniors using smaller parking lots, safer travel and wider roads. Solar power stations in cul-de-sacs of rechargeable lithium battery, but now that Tesla has made the power wall, it's on now. Gen X that was held back for pollution , now have the chance to do the good work and fix what the greedy have destroyed. Improve what others have left neglected, and give our children a world worthy of praise by them, when we are no longer here. A legacy of good that will continue with each generation:dancing: to "IMPROVE life, but NOT destroying it. Rockerfella paid attention to the plans of the future generation and is smart enough to dump the junk stocks that the people reject, and jump on the ones, the generations of the future want.
KOCH briothers started in 2009, but Rockerfella had the jump on them by 4 years. The rotten elites are now tryin to distance themselves from their destructive businesses that caused this and more. Nukes will melt down soon if the technology for the grid isn't improved. These nasty monsters must be kept cool at all times. One 3 day shutdown of power, can cause another F-U-Shima.
But we're bigger and have many many more than the Shima/Diachi/Pepsico plants. They wanted pot legal for medicine and anxiety, and what do you see happening. Progressives are Independents, Republicans, Democrats. Libertarian, and legal Liberal no war people. WE know about the lies that led to the wars and let's just say: "WE are not pleased!"
WE also will not spend our money on junk, pollutants that make people sick/us sick. WE are the future and we lead from behind, just like those sneaky snakes of yesteryear did. Learn the game, don't tip your hand and do the good work, before they even know what you're doing to stop you. Less hurdles that way and "mum's the word on progress for all." Greed hates the all, and only wants it all for itself. Greed has not limit, and is insatiable and out of control to the point of producing hybrid animals and weaponizing and nano injection invasion. I rest my case for now. WE must never tip our hand, and we are much more careful than then, are we not? At least the good in the world, have a plan and determined destiny for the good of family, planet and animal, fish species. Adaptable Gen X, Y and Z?
You betcha!!!:bowing:

Shalom peeps.

I am not sure whether they sell directly to end consumers. I haven't heard any news from them for quite a while. I reckon they're somewhat controlled.
You may contact them via the right-hand top contact button on their website (http://grabat.es/en).
Graphene technology is however real and more current info about this can be obtained at: https://www.graphene-info.com/news

Oddly enough I was researching producing fuel from algae a few years ago when the Rockerfellers and some other very large players came into the market and bought up every patent imaginable...I believe they are looking at GMO's to achieve much higher yields. They also sold their oil interests very soon after.

As a caveat even though the costs of producing electricity may be falling.......we still have massive debts that financed our aging infrastructure. In Ontario Canada these debts leave us with some of the highest prices in Canada. So...the more energy efficient we become..the more we end up paying.

Tesla is currently building a mass storage facility for South Australia (batteries) to ensure the grid feed is maintained - they had big issues last year. So yes batteries are certainly gaining in efficiency and application!

The Tesla Battery is capable of supplying 5% of the evening peak for about an hour (4% of the day).

It's next to useless in supporting the South Australian grid.

Do the operators of the battery operate it every afternoon peak to make $6,000 per day (assuming free wind power to charge, and $300/MWh peak prices and Lazard's Levelised cost of Storage is $250/MWh round trip), or to they keep their powder dry and wait for the handful of major events that SA has per year, and make $1.5M per event in trying to prop up the grid ?

Then after a recharge, you've got to wait some time (hours) for it to cool before you can discharge again.

All problems to be ironed out, but there's some simple maths in South Australia.

To replace 1,000MW of thermal, which can, on average, produce 900MW 24/7 with wind, you need 2,500MW of installed capacity, and enough storage to keep it until you need it. Solar, you need 3,300MW installed capacity.

For any average day, South Australia would need another 250+ of these Tesla Giant Batteries.

For a cloudy week with no wind, multiply that by however much you need to avoid discomfort from the electorate.

The South Australian Govt also bought buckets of GE trailer mounted Gas Turbines to run on diesel to cover the peaks and bad days...they aren't interested in being truly green, just making enough media statements to look like they are.
