It is clear that most mainstream news outlets are in blackout, apart from RT, Al Jazeera and possibly Fox. This means that we have to rely on alternative independent journalists for information.

The next three months will show us which way the cookie crumbles. We need to be informed.

This is the case even if the failure to disclose was a matter of negligence and not intent. The case extended the Court's holding in Brady v. Maryland, requiring such agreements to be disclosed to defense counsel. As a result of this case, the term Giglio material is sometimes used to refer to any information pertaining to deals that witnesses in a criminal case may have entered into with the government. Planned Parenthood under investigation by Justice Department over sale of fetal tissue

The Justice Department has launched a federal investigation into Planned Parenthood’s practices and the sale of fetal tissue.

In a letter first obtained by Fox News, Justice Department Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Stephen Boyd formally requested unredacted documents from the Senate Judiciary Committee, the same panel that led the congressional probe into the women’s health organization.

“The Department of Justice appreciates the offer of assistance in obtaining these materials, and would like to request the Committee provide unredacted copies of records contained in the report, in order to further the Department’s ability to conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of that report based on the full range of information available,” Boyd wrote.

Fox News has learned that last month, the FBI first requested the unredacted documents from the committee.

1. RT doesn’t peddle Russophobia
Outrageously, RT doesn’t compare Vladimir Putin to Adolf Hitler. It doesn‘t join in with the demonization of Russia and its leader. How can we have a channel which is watched by people in Britain, which doesn’t do that? We neocons say that demonization of Russia and its leader is compulsory. How dare RT not do as we say! RT is more vocally in support of Russia than western media.

2. RT is sometimes rude to bankers
There’s a man on RT called Max Keiser and he is often very rude to bankers. Why, he has even called for them to face the death penalty. Such disrespect to our financial elites is shocking and should not be allowed in a free society.

3. Its coverage of the MH17 crash
Shockingly, RT commentators didn’t rush to blame Vladimir Putin for the air disaster within seconds of the news breaking. Some even said that we should wait for the forensic evidence before any statements apportioning guilt were made. Others said that we couldn’t rule out that the plane was downed by an another aircraft. This failure to come and say loud and clear “Putin personally shot down the plane with a missile he made and fired with his own hands” within minutes of the crash is clear evidence of RT’s bias and why it must be taken off the air.

4. RT’s ‘pundits’ include people who aren’t neocons and ‘liberal interventionists’
This is truly scandalous: RT gives airtime to people who don’t support the West’s policy of endless war and who opposed airstrikes on Syria last year. Why, it’s even broadcast interviews with the convener of the Stop the War coalition – and has a regular weekly show fronted by George Galloway! This is unconscionable. Only people who support Western foreign policy should be allowed to express their views on international affairs on television, not 'cranks' and 'fanatics' who oppose attacking a sovereign state in the Middle East on deceitful grounds every couple of years. Why, if RT had been around in 2003, it would no doubt have given airtime to anti-war ‘conspiracy theorists’ who would have told viewers that Iraq had no WMDs – and claimed, fantastically – that Bush and Blair were making it all up.

5. RT provides airtime to genuine socialists and genuine conservatives
This is really terrible: RT interviews people who oppose neo-liberalism and globalization, from both the left and the right. It’s given the microphone to socialists, communists, greens, and 'extremists' on the right, like Ron Paul. These people should not be allowed to express their views on television; they are 'cranks' and should be totally marginalized. Only those who support the hegemonic consensus should be allowed on TV. It's very important that in order to protect free speech and democracy, alternative opinions are not heard.

6. RT pundits have ‘extremist’ links
I monitor the people who appear on RT very, very closely and I can tell you that there was once a case of an RT interviewee who had a link on his website to another website which had a link to another website which had a link to another website – which denied the Holocaust and said that little green men from Mars were ruling the US.

After considerable research, I also found that another RT pundit once attended a conference where a fellow invitee had once sat at a restaurant table, a few days after another person who had actually praised Adolf Hitler, Chairman Mao, and Josef Stalin in a magazine article published in North Korea in 1962.

7. RT is anti-semitic
Ok, I’ve got no evidence of this, but I’ll bung it in anyway as it sounds good.

8. RT has broadcast documentaries on the wars in Yugoslavia which don’t blame the Serbs for everything
This is totally unacceptable.

9. RT has had ‘experts’ on its programs who have made some very strong criticisms of Israel
This too is totally unacceptable. Anyone with a theory or definition that differs from Western minded politicians is demonized for voicing their opinion.

10. RT pundits have often ridiculed leading American policymakers
For instance, when the US Secretary of State John Kerry said that “you just don't in the 21st century” invade another country on “completely trumped up pretext,” some people on RT had the audacity to say “What about Iraq?” This lack of respect towards a leading American politician is appalling, and in a free society ought not to be allowed. The correct procedure whenever a leading US political figure speaks is to tug one’s forelock.

11. RT’s coverage of the conflict in Syria
In 2011-13, we had so-called ‘experts’ on Syria telling us on RT that some of the freedom-fighting pro-democracy rebels were actually fanatical terrorists who were guilty of committing atrocities. This was obviously a clear lie. Islamist terrorists like ISIS have only been active in Syria since 2014 and of course, it’s all the fault of President Assad and Russia.

12. RT interviews lots of people whose views I do not share
It ought not to be allowed! Aren’t we supposed to live in a democracy?

13. The most important reason: RT is a threat
More and more people are watching it – which is why me and my little group of neocons and ‘liberal interventionists’ are so worried and stepping up our attacks on the station and denigrating those people who appear on it.

The next big war is going to be much harder for us to ‘sell’ to the plebs, because we are no longer in control of the narrative as we were in 2003, before the Iraq war. Oh, what happy days those were!

Don’t watch RT because we really don’t want you to 'question more.' We want you to question less. It's much easier for us that way.

The first-ever financial audit in the history of the US Department of Defense will be massive, requiring 2,400 auditors to review the Pentagon’s $2.4 trillion in assets, including personnel, real estate and weapons.
The audit will begin this month, the DoD announced during a news conference Friday.

“It is important that the Congress and the American people have confidence in DoD’s management of every taxpayer dollar,” Comptroller David Norquist told reporters.

He said the DoD’s Office of the Inspector General has hired independent public accounting firms to conduct audits of the Air Force, Army and Navy, as well as a department-wide consolidated audit to summarize all results and conclusions.

9/11 has been covered by mainstream and the alternative media. So the mainstream sticks to the impossible claim that planes were able to collapse two of the strongest buildings in the world, sadly RT has also been complicit in perpetuating this lie.

The alternative media also usually also gets the story wrong, they think bombs or thermite was placed in the building beforehand. The only detailed scientific study by a qualified scientist concludes that an energy weapon was used to destroy the towers. Looking closely at radar and video evidence it shows that real planes were not used in the operation. A false flag attack which changed the world and gave the green light for America (and the UK) to carry out illegal invasions of foreign states.

As soon as RT has the courage to feature someone like Dr. Judy Wood (who could not be better qualified to forensically and scientifically examine the evidence of the 9/11 attacks) I will take them more seriously, but until that time happens I will exercise the similar scepticism I also reserve for the likes of Julian Assange, another intelligence asset.

Dr Wood's ground breaking book "Where Did The Towers Go" provides proof that theories propagated by the media and 9/11 pressure groups (which seem to have been infiltrated) are wrong.

Again, no disrespect Happy, but there is substantial credible evidence suggesting controlled demolition, thermite and even mini nukes. I won't argue that Judy Wood's DEW theory is wrong--especially when it comes to the "dustification" of the towers and the toasted cars blocks away with their surroundings untouched--in fact, I believe her theory holds much merit. However, I think it is more of a distraction--designed to keep all those who agree that the buildings did not fall according to the "official story" fighting among themselves--to continue to argue about HOW the buildings were brought down than it is to determine WHO brought the buildings down and WHY and if we are ever going to bring the real perpetrators to justice.

I don't claim to have read or viewed all of the evidence regarding 9/11 and the various theories on HOW the buildings were brought down, WHO actually did it and WHY--and I certainly don't remember all that I have read and seen over the years, but there is absolutely no question that the "official story" is a lie.

I really hope that we dont forget this most important action in draining of the swamp and perhaps the draining of the swamp could be encouraged through volunteering in politics instead of pay and working full-time instead of only 180 days per year. Pay them a small stipend with with a 2 year term limit. This would change the face of politics and curb bipartisanship, the best thing for America imho.

President Donald Trump’s attorneys made a solid case for preemptively pardoning Julian Assange in a motion to dismiss a WikiLeaks-related lawsuit against the Trump campaign.

While preemptive pardons are rare — they are not unheard of.

The motion (http://www.kingpin.cc/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/dcd-1.17-cv-01370-42-0.pdf), filed on December 29, was in response to a lawsuit by two Democratic Party donors who allege that the Trump campaign and former adviser Roger Stone conspired with Russians to publish the leaked Democratic National Committee emails. The outlandish lawsuit, based largely on conspiracy theories, was orchestrated by a group called Protect Democracy — which happens to be run by former attorneys from the Obama administration.

In defense of the Trump campaign, the 32-page filing by Michael A. Carvin argues that the publishing of the DNC leak passes both aspects of the Bartnicki First Amendment Test (https://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/99-1687.ZS.html).

The first part of the case law is that a defendant may not be held liable for a disclosure of stolen information if it deals with “a matter of public concern.”

Addressing this portion, Carvin’s filing asserts that there can be “no serious doubt” that the disclosures from WikiLeaks satisfied the “newsworthy” and “public concern” portion of the test.

The motion argues that ‘”punishing truthful publication in the name of privacy’ is always an ‘extraordinary measure’ — doubly so when the publisher did nothing illegal in obtaining the information.”

Assange has never been credibly accused of publishing information that was not truthful. In over ten years of releasing documents, WikiLeaks has never had to retract a single thing that they have published — unlike the mainstream media who also rely on leaks, scoops and secrets.

To counter the argument from the plaintiffs that only portions of the released emails were “newsworthy” and thus not all of it should be considered protected under the First Amendment, the lawyers for the Trump campaign asserted that “tort law analyzes newsworthiness on an aggregate basis,” meaning that the entirety of the disclosure as a whole is considered protected free speech.

The second portion of the test requires that the speaker (or publisher) was not “involved” in the theft.



“They certainly make no effort to show that the Campaign was ‘involved’ in the initial theft of the DNC emails, in effect conceding that the Campaign satisfies the second part of the Bartnicki First Amendment test. The dispositive question is thus whether the disclosure in this case dealt with ‘newsworthy’ and ‘public’ issues. There can be no serious doubt that it did,” the filing reads.

“That ends the case: The disclosure satisfies the First Amendment test.”

Given that WikiLeaks does not steal or hack the documents that are provided to them, and most rational people would agree that all of their leaks have been newsworthy, the Bartnicki First Amendment Test is not only satisfied by the Trump campaign — but also by Assange and his organization.
