Not sure I posted in the correct section...

Anyway this seems to be doing the rounds...what do you make of it Avalonians?

Mr Chen shared the video on his Weibo account on December 4, stating the ‘invisibility cloak’ can be useful in military.

‘This is a quantum technology-made cloth that is made of transparent material, it can reflect the light wave around the person who wears it so it can make the person disappear.

Soldiers wearing this cloak can avoid night vision spy but what happened if the criminals used the cloak?’

The video shows the man turning the cloth over as he stands in the middle of a bush. He opens the cloth and disappears in front of the camera.

The cloth can be seen blending into the bush completely.

However, Zhu Zhensong, producer at Quantum Video production company told Liberation Daily that there were no such thing as invisibility cloak.

He told the reporters that the video had been edited and filmed with a blue or green plastic cloth.

‘Softwares such as Adobe’s After Effects, Nuke or Blackmagic Fusion can edit the background and blend the object into it. The effect has previously seen in a lot of action movies,’ said Zhu.

Whilst web users were overly enthused about the cloak, some spotted the leaves near the man’s legs were moving but not the ones appeared on the cloth.

They used them in Falujah Iraq. I saw a video a soldier posted from Veterans Today on the "invisibility cloak" I believe they also have the technology for the ships they fly also. It looks like it reflects surrounding area thereby looking camoflaged but see through. The soldiers were fighting along side a wall and gate. A tank came in firing and the soldiers in the cloak (you could barely see them but their visible enough) came upon the side of the tank then boarded it through the top. You can probably find it there on You Tube just like thevideo in the 40's of a Japanese Giant that stood 3 stories high. Just got to know what to key in. If you don't know what words that will bring it up, it's harder to search it out, but I swear there was not "special effects on that giant." The horse and rider were at it's thigh. It's head up to the balcony of the building and very muscular in some sort of diaper/loin cloth. He was marching with their army.

Researchers in Japan have invented an incredible invisibility cloak.

The technology comes from 2003, but it's developers say the Harry Potter-like invisibility cloak is just the beginning. The team, led by Dr. Susumu Tachi, from Keio University, is now adapting their findings to help pilots, drivers, doctors and others.

Retro-reflective projection technology uses a computer, a video camera and projector to shine background images onto the front of a subject wearing specialised clothing, creating the illusion of invisibility.

What makes the technology unique is a fabric made of glass beads only 50 microns wide, which can reflect light directly back at the source, much like the screen in a cinema.

Viewed from near the light source, the projection is bright even in broad daylight, and researchers say the material can be applied to almost anything.   In the short term, the team sees usage in car interiors, airplanes and helicopters.

They say blind spots could be eliminated and accidents and hard landings avoided by making walls seemingly transparent.

The eventual goal though is to create an "augmented reality" that allows anyone to easily see information on real world objects.

[Dr. Susumu Tachi, Keio University]:
"Looking to the future, instead of glasses, people could wear this and it would act as a navigation system. It could also tell you who someone is, if you meet them around town."

In the few years since the technology's invention, the price of the material, as well as that of computing, has come down, opening the door for smaller yet more powerful applications.

Whether used to increase safety or to create a whole new form of computer-human interaction, the world is likely to see, or possibly not see, more of this technology in the future.

Try to write this out tho i wont bee able to convey the moment properly so bear with me and the writing..mercy...
I chased a male figure through my yard at night a few years ago...noticed a crouching figure by my window when I went outside to smoke and relax and look at the stars when I noticed what appeared to bee someone crouched down at my bedroom window peering in..wasn't sure if i was seeing it..romeo my pal/dog also noticed the figure at the same time..i froze the dog froze when the figure stood up and turned to look at us..as if he/she was trying to figure out if we were watching em or had seen them...still have instant recall on the fear and shock of the person standing up...I began walking toward them when they turned and began to run toward the north of the house where it is pitch black..what shocked me was the fact that they kept fading in out of sight as they ran..also a area around the person would pixle out..almost like an aura that would trail out slightly behind them with pixles..I gave chase yelling for them to stop and I also ran at a angle to the north to cut em off..The yard has one light and cuts off about halfway in low light and the rest of the yard is pitch black on a moonless night..as I approached this halfway mark knowing I was gonna catch em I looked back to see if the dog/80 pound pitbull was giving chase along with me when noticed romeo froze in the spot this all started.. watching this person running..i stopped right at the line of light and dark and as turned to look at the dog for courage..a saw from the corner of my eye a bright blue fash followed by a loud pop/slap???..I stood there at the line of light scared sh!tless when i knew instinctively they were gone..gatherd my courage called the dog and went and looked around the yard for awhile never found em..I never noticed any cloak..and the details are not forthcoming because of the low light and my shock..they seemed to bee wearing military type gear tho cant bee sure.I spent several sleepless nights after that outside waiting and hoping to catch em..never happened like that again tho i have gave chase to a couple guys after that one incident..all this followed massive ufo encounters and other things happening at the same time..so my only conclusion based on that one observation is that there is stealth tech already out there at a level we are not privy to and have a hard time grasping.

one doesn't need a 'cloak' to hide one's invisibility; all you need is a magician the likes of David Copperfield (he's not the only one with his abilities- it's just that Copperfield has a commercial monopoly on these abilities) to disguise anything or create any kind of illusion you want;

one of my co-workers is a hobby magician (belongs to the international magicians' "Magic Circle" org) and gives his own shows- absolutely incredible- he told me he knows how Copperfield does it and it depends on the angle of the magic trick you are seeing in order to decipher it (like we usually see it from the front); if one were to see the trick from the side or back we could see how it's being done-

magic is just simply a perfected technique projecting an illusion-

"any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"- Arthur C. Clark

be well all-

WOW william r sanford72 fit some more lights o.0, motion detector lights at that!
You have reminded me of a totally weird experience I had a few years back.
Now looking back at it is very creepy and weird and I could feel a scared. Will have to post it soon ;)

The goal is to use it for augmented reality -- amazing and weird. Maybe they used this material to create "the veil." ;)

this is a trick done by bluescreen computer technology, the real cloak technology exists but its different than shown in this video.

soldier have to wear some kind of a backpack that houses the tech to do this its not hidden inside a simple blanked ;)

All the research they have done over the years with 'Mind Control' is where a/one version of 'Induced Invisibility' might be found.

This might sound a bit mad but.

In my life time I have experienced what seems to be invisibility.
I'm just over six foot tall so not hard to miss but many times people have just walked straight into me, I've even known they where going to do it.
I've tested this in the past by standing still in the direct line of someone walking down a street, bump, oh sorry I didn't see you there was there reaction.

Each time holding my breath and sort of locking my whole body/mussels ridged seemed to be a key, can also be done with just a ridged mind.
You can hold your mind in the same sort of way, seems to take you out of sense'd reality somehow.

Sasquatch and the Orange-Mountain-Man have been reported having such ability's. Which might explain a lot

The above is not a good condition to be in if your driving a car 0.o

Lady M and William. I experienced the pixle (sp?) like unreality they have created around us. It's real. Also, this reminds me of what I think the alchemists call the glove of invisibility. It may not be the alchemists but I do remember reading this somewhere.

I also experienced this in Madison Square Garden, at a Who concert in December of 2012, in a bathroom of all places. An invisible being (I know this sounds crazy but I don't care) came in. I could feel the whoosh of it's movement, hear the door open and close, etc. but there was no one there. I was the only person in this bathroom. One of my gloves turned up missing from inside my backpack.
