I had a chance to experience one on one, (personally) the joy vision and magic of Freddy Clarke at a Christmas Party in San Francisco Thursday.. Freddy was on the couch like 4 feet in-front of me, and I and a few other folks shared in the Joy..

Think about the concept of "TONE POEM" or painting pictures in the mind's eye using music.

Wowww..

Here is a snippet from my Dialog with my personal Chat group about my experience with Freddy

he was playing in the style of LaGoya
flamenco
then switch to some personally written classical love songs
which i swear
i was so teary eyed...
he was sittin on the couch infront of me
and slowly some of the movers and shakers who were present for the Christmas Party
were gathering around...
--- Folks were just mulling in, to the grand Hall,
who sat on the arm of the couch... a vibe of kindness and fraternity started to appear...
his guitar
then sounded like a full
supportive orchestra was present, coming out of 'no-where' but was there with us..
he was generating
simultaneous
harmonic
choruses
and individual solos, side by side, in REAL-TIME
by the non-existent
other artists he somehow was able to evoke, each with their own style and personality...
===== if u could imagine
he was doing like 3
performers/artists at once
(separated by a few milliseconds of timing between notes/themes being played)
======= but he was playing ALL of them
al at the same time...
and then using the instrument to PAINT
a visual image thru sound, harmonic interwoven themes, or threads...
Layer on layer
---------------
as one sound resonated and then died down
he found the "moment" and he he was building on that
with a newly created
'musician'
===========
he was creating musicians for his presentation on his guitar, in the moment...
then wove them all
at the same time
to sing their own songs ==== to express their JOY
at the same time
harmoniously
and that which was expressed
the visual component,
was brought forth... of the tone poem message... the pictures painted by sound, a light magical stage evolved..
he did that 3 times...
, the third time
Tears, many of them present... feeling a heart felt connection, he looked into my eyes and mine into his.. connection...
=============
two hearts touching

one can get there
if one has the vibe
understands
the end goal
(its not domination)
but creating a system that works
not only in the moment (albeit maybe crude) but eventually for the next generation..
sustainable
reality
..... ok
I kinda think that is why i was invited
to see another example of positive life in action in a place least expected...
what I was was being shown was cooperative life in action - nothing demanded, no demons sucking on souls..
I lived within a moment or two an experience of painting with sound
sharing a journey with sound. A focus, of
opening up a new non-linear way
to see and be and experience (tone poem holographics, something which I do in other ways...)
And to have a moment of joy in which to share with others, and take with my heart.. out there and within..

He smiled with Joy Paula.. radiant in every moment, his bald head glistening in the light his eyes and smile were of clarity, and feeling of fraternity, nothing expected but joy shared.. a Christmas to remember for those present..

He briefly wove in "Copy of Leyenda as played by Freddy Clarke" very briefly but bridged it into a tone poem, a love song of life, and he was smiling, not so "serious" as we see in the above vid..

I am touched an overwhelmed in the vibe of human kindness.. support and a vibe of a future which may evolve, something of goodness..

--edit--

I am going to add a brief addendum

Freddy was in a get-to-gether with us where nobody would ever think love, light and joy, and fraternity and caring for the individual and masses could ever be possible.. He was there for being himself, for saying "I am me" and I am happy to share something that is not ego, but says, " know your deepest soul where you come from, where you are going " I support you in that, and my thoughts and feelings are for you - may you find your answer.. (gracefully)

For me it is joy and light beauty and fraternity, a way to sustain and grow supporting each other in the path to supporting the fraternity of mankind.. I had no preconceived notions of where I was at, nor who I was with.. I experienced joy at every moment within the fraternal compassion of those present (about 400-500 folks or so of like vibe)...

Just an aside.. reality sometimes is way different than what we are told it is.. Experience it without bias, without colored glasses or emotional "hearsay" biases one adopted from others, but experience it through the heart personally.. Maybe one would get some amazing insights.. :)

I wanted to :bump2: this thread for the new folks who may have missed it, Freddy Clarke, quite an amazing artist.

I met him last December like 2 months ago in San Francisco.

Spent like an hour with him.. Self taught and quite a beautiful soul. I had such a hard time holding back the tears on quite a few of his songs he played live there, sitting on the couch across from me. As did others who came by to hear the tones wafting in the air in the big hall.
