View Full Version : How to be healthy

Instead of spending your hard earned money on doctors and medicines, let's spend it on healthy foods and anything which make you happy:happythumbsup:
~ Be Positive, calm and don’t be too stress out!!
Stress activates the fight-or-flight response which produces the stress hormones. It is good for our ancestors since it helps them to perform better in a dangerous situation. However, it is not good for us since we are not doing much exercise to burn off the stress hormones. A little bit of stress is enough to help you perform but don’t put so much stress on yourself.
~ Follow the Traditional Chinese Organ Body Clock (http://foreverconscious.com/traditional-chinese-organ-body-clock).
It explains why sleeping late and skipping breakfasts are bad for health from TCM point of view.
- Sleep hours varies depends on individual and age, sleep at least 6 hours. When you sleep early, wake-up automatically and feeling energetic, that's your sleeping hours. Just don't get back to bed or you will wake-up feeling groggy.
Sometimes, I did a 30-45 minutes nap after lunch because my body tells me to do so.
- Although there is a recommended time schedules for breakfast, Lunch and dinner,
I do recommend eat less but more often. Eat about 70% full and take a bit of healthy snack in between each major meal.
No food 3 hours before bed time.
Note: That is just a general guideline, listen to your body and adjusts it to the optimum conditions.
~ Diets
Note: If you are sensitive to a particular food, DO NOT take the food. ALWAYS listen to your body!!
Taking mix fruits, a bit of here and there is good. One apple, one banana, one orange per day is good. If you want to get rid of fluoride from your body, you can take Tamarinds.
Taking mix vegetables. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, take more beans, grains, nuts and seeds for protein. Spirulina powder is a good source of protein as well.
Note: It is better to take Vitamin B12 supplement if you are a vegan.
Replace white rice with brown rice or Quinoa.
Papaya seeds: Improve digestion, remove parasites, etc
There are also foods which you should try to avoid:
pUk7LTySl6Y
Here is a list of Dr Sebi alkaline foods. (https://naturalselfbyriasweetraw.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/dr-sebis-electric-food-list/)
Dr Sebi said the healthiest alkaline to acid ratio is 80% alkaline and 20% acidic. This ratio gives optimum health and protection against diseases.
If you are interested in Dr Sebi conspiracy watch this video:
bYXWo3Edcmc
- If you are overweight and diabetic, I will Strongly recommend Water fasting (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?101104-Water-Fasting/page9) (Credit: Bill Ryan)
- If you are mega-discipline and want to take this to the extreme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR1FCJS8DoM
~ Exercise
Depends on your body but I will say 30-45 minutes of accumulating moderate intensity exercise per day for optimum health benefit. Do incorporate some strength and resistance training exercises on various body parts.
It is recommended to exercise in a warm and non-polluted environment, preferably in garden or park.
~ Make your home full of fresh air
Grow some fruit trees round your house, to improve air quality and receive organic fruits.
Grow some Areca Palm (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens) in your living room.
Grow some Mother-in-law Tongue (Sansevieria trifasciata) in your bedroom. Note that this plant might be toxic to cats and dogs.

- Leonard
~ Filter your water
Get rid of chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals and volatile organic chemical from your tap water, as many of these can be absorbed through your skin.
Reverse osmosis system:
Although I know it removes more than 90% of the beneficial minerals as well, but you can always get it back from fruits and vegetables.
Deionizers
Other filters
~ Meditation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw71zanwMnY)
Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PkrhH-bkpk)is the basic for everyone.
Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SnZFQktCaw)is 5 simple tips about meditation with Y.S.Rinpoche
Meditation can be done anywhere, just be mindful of your surrounding. It can be used to improve the quality of your life and experiencing more. It can also be used to break addictions.
For example when a person is eating potato chips:
~ If he/she is focusing on munching and tasting the potato chips, the potato chips will taste 2 - 5 times better, he/she will then be satisfied and eat less.
~ If he/she is not focusing on eating potato chips but watching TV and thinking at the same time, by the time he/she finished watching the show he/she will realised the bag of potato chips is empty.
~ Others which help
Acupuncture (https://greatist.com/live/acupuncture-science-behind-it) (Credit: Rachel)
- The Twelve Meridians (http://lieske.com/channels.htm) (Credit: Omi)
Essential Oils (EO)
~ Four Thieves (For Boosting immunity and driving away bacteria/viruses)
~ Frankincense (For connection and others health benefits)
~ Lavender (For calming down and other benefits)
~ Lemon
~ Lemongrass
~ Nutmeg
~ Orange
~ Peppermint (Don't use daily for more than 2 weeks as it might cause neurotoxic)
~ Pine
~ Rose (Very Expensive)
~ Tea Tree
~ Etc
Note: I would recommend high quality natural EO (Grade 4.5 and above) but not low quality or synthetic EO. Low quality/synthetic EO usually cause allergies. Low quality EO benefits the body a little and will take longer time for the benefits to take place. Synthetic EO usually won't benefits the body at all and might deteriorates they body.
Tai Chi and Qi Gong
Final Note:
You are the BEST Doctor yourself. You know more about yourself than any others doctor. Always listen to your body. Peace guys:Angel:

Thanks for the link about the Traditional Chinese Organ Body Clock, it's fascinating! For some reason I'm thinking of Acupuncture as well, I looked it up and that's Chinese Medicine too. Another fascinating thing, that has had proven results, however some people would just call it a placebo. I tend to trust Chinese Medicine a lot more than our own medicine, but maybe that's my stereotypes talking.
Following what ghostrider said, that part would makes sense too, at least in some cases. "Where the mind goes, the body follows" is a really good saying, I like that a lot. I think there's very much truth to that one :)
The reason I'm looking into this more is my lack of desire to eat food. Especially in the morning. I know it's not healthy. The mind is a powerful thing... and if my mind will not let me swallow my food... that's obviously a problem... in my mind.

"It is recommended to exercise in a warm and non-polluted environment"- yes, of course, but how we can avoid breathing chemtrails?
it's been known for a long time that an acidic body opens the door to disease-
I think the biggest factor in promoting good health is to avoid pharmaceuticals (if one can) and vaccinations (we all can)-

Before I read Sue Arrigo's stuff, my intuition guided me to get off ALL pharmaceuticals. I was only on thyroid medicine, but I found alternatives, including exercise. That was many years ago.

I don't go to doctors or take pharmaceuticals.
Unfortunately, my parents do. Recently my dad started losing lots of weight. Come to find out it was from some heart medicine that thinned his blood. He is in the hospital now. Just went in 2 days ago.
I spoke to my mom about this, but they are used to depending on doctors. I didn't want to say too much, because we now have delicate circumstances. He is 91.

I agreed on that, thinking can shape things, thinking are required before new actions. Intuitions are learned from the thinking of the past/past-life.

You are most welcome. Tradition Chinese Medicine has a history of more than 4,000 years of trial and error. And it focus on treating the diseases from the core by using herbs. The down side is, it takes time and you are ban from eating some of the junk foods. Yes petra, follow your heart because everyone is different. The optimum time for breakfast is 7am-9am, you can have breakfast at 9:10am is still not a problem.

You can't totally avoid it but you can try to avoid it as much as possible. Go to places with less cars but more trees, do hiking or mountain hiking early in the morning where the air is freshest. Do gym at home, you don't need sophisticated machines, just 2 adjustable dumbbells and a yoga mat will do. Better still, put some Areca Palms in your gym room to filter the air. Finishes the exercises before night, it is not recommended to do it at night.
Yes~~ Avoids pharmaceuticals and vaccinations, you never know what they put inside!!

Yes you are right Michelle!! Always follow your intuitions no matter it is right or wrong. If it is wrong, you intuition will learn and be more accurate later. My grandmother is under medications for diabetes, the doctor said you can't stop your medications. And after years of medications, later only to be found out that she got bad kidneys. The doctors then have to strip off 2 of her 3 diabetes medicines. Seriously, I can't believe the doctors are using us clients as lab rats.
I really feel sorry about your case, I can understand it because I am in a similar situation as well. My mum also got diabetes and she is under medications. The greedy saleman doctor said, it can't be stopped and you must keep taking my medicines. Diabetes Can Be Cured, For Goodness Sake!! You just have to follow a proper diet and exercise regime. I am currently taking my mum to Taman Merdeka for morning exercises every Sunday.

My grandma was into natural health: good eating, vitamins, juicing. She was my role model.
Once I got arthritis really bad. Instead of taking the prescriptions, I got health food supplements and acupuncture and it went away. The dr said it wouldn't be cured and that I would be on pharmaceuticals the rest of my life. I rejected that with my whole soul.

I am glad that you follow your heart and made the right decision:clapping:
Acupuncture is not a myth, I got backpain problems and after every acupuncture session, my backpain can go away for 2 weeks. I had been to an orthopaedic specialist, they took an X-Ray and said there is nothing wrong (If there is nothing wrong then why I feel the pain?). Currently I don't do acupuncture, because it is quite a chore to do it every 2 weeks. I wear special spectrum cloths which amazingly get rid of my backpain. I did Tai Chi as well and it works, although it could be slow and painful at the start. I have quit Tai Chi for six months because of feeling the guilt and urge of saving families and mother nature. Have been clearing out rubbishes at home. Removing cemented flooring and do planting (Pretty sure I grew more than a hundred of them). Removing rocks and rubbishes outside my house for plants to grow. Not using any shampoo for shower. My families members looking at me like some kind of alien, lolz~~ I do plan to do Tai Chi again soon. Peace~ Leonard.

I highly recommend you check them out, they're the epitome of "nature itself is the best technology" in action, I think you'll like them. :)
Acupuncture balances your chi (really efficiently), the therapeutic effects are many and often immediate, HERE (https://greatist.com/live/acupuncture-science-behind-it)'s an article. Quoting from the article, "Western medicine is about treating a specific issue, whereas traditional medicine is more like tuning an engine".
The best thing about water fasting is this, "The body is forced to use stores of glucose and fat during prolonged fasting, but it also breaks down a significant portion of white blood cells. This depletion “triggers stem cell-based regeneration of new immune system cells.” It essentially shifts stem cells “from a dormant state into a state of self-renewal”, article on this HERE (https://spinalresearch.com.au/fasting-can-trigger-stem-cell-immune-regeneration/). Water fills up 70-80% of the human body, quality and purity are important for sure.
I do think people more often overlook the importance of just keeping themselves hydrated to begin with (and just to mention that coffee and alcohol are dehydrating). I aim for 3 liters of water and tea combined daily, it helps with better circulation of energy flow.
Has sleep been mentioned in this thread yet? (sorry I haven't read through all the posts..)
If I may, I'd suggest sleep to also be added to the growing list of effective ways for good health.
Some people need very little sleep and they still function fine during the day. I think it depends on how connected and in-tune one's consciousness is with the astral.
Others need more, but in often cases are being deprived of it. 1 extra hour could sometimes really help in reducing stress and having more energy.

Hello~~ Omi, I have added "The Twelve Meridians" and Sleep hours in my list. Many thanks for that:happythumbsup:
About hydration, the urine colour can indicate whether you are hydrated or not, colourless urine is the best (a bit of yellow is fine). I usually drink water when I feel thirsty because I obtain quite a lot of water from fruits and vegetables.
Yes, coffee and alcohol are dehydrating I don't drink them much. About the tea, make sure you use the high quality tea leaves. Low quality tea is high in fluoride content.
All the best my friends~

Aah!! I got to the part about the forced vaccines and was reminded about a story of forced LSD. I couldn't read any more, wow though really. I'm glad people are paying attention, because I sure can't read that - too much cringing and shuddering for me.
I don't go to doctors or take pharmaceuticals.

Same here MM, my mother's also on blood thinners. When she was more active, the bruising was bad. She was so purple! Now she's less active and so less bruises, and she's on so much medication... there's even pills for anxiety. Those work. If my anxiety gets really bad maybe I will ask her if I could have one! I'm not against it entirely... I just rather not take medication.
I pray his doctors are good nice people and not like the doctor who took care of my dad. It's so very important to have a good doctor I think. I have not seen mine in a LONG time but I like her, she's young but smart. I had to fight her NOT to get a vaccine once, because I read the fine print on it. I knew I didn't need that vaccine... and in the end she agreed with me. Sometimes it's good to argue :)
Yes petra, follow your heart because everyone is different.

Wow, outstanding results there, it doesn't surprise me in the least. IIRC something like 50% of our energy is used to digest our food, so when we fast all that extra energy is freed up to be used for healing which is all directed by the intelligence of our bodies, all we have to do is not get in its way. :)
One final thought I should add; it's very important to listen to your body when doing fasts and when it tells you to eat you must eat, you'll know when to eat again because your hunger will return, some people also dream of eating, that's your body yelling, "I've used up all the stores, eat now!".
I'm doing a water fast at the moment. I haven't done an extended fast in years and although my BMI, heart rate and blood pressure are all still in the healthy range and I have no chronic health issues I'm in the worst shape I've ever been in. I won't be eating again until my hunger returns and I estimate I've got enough fat to last me roughly 40 days, so I'm keeping a journal and recording my stats each day, I can send that to you when I'm done if you're interested in checking out the result (still early days, won't be done for roughly a month yet). It won't show any miraculous healings as it is more of a tuning my engine fast but I'm very out of tune so it should show some major improvements in my stats.

Interesting~~
You said "IIRC something like 50% of our energy is used to digest our food", that is like if we eat normally. Some foods are easier to digest, like if we eat chai seeds, quinoa, banana, papaya and watermelon only,
will it takes only 20% of our energy to digest foods?
About "when it tells you to eat you must eat, you'll know when to eat again because your hunger will return", I always feed hungry early in the morning, so I can't skip breakfast for fasting? Or maybe I just take chai seeds and 1 banana for breakfast.
All the best to your water fasting, you will get over it

There's a whole lot that needs to change with my habits, but really I think it's a slow process if I want to do it properly. Feels like first thing should be to see my dentist! I started using the sensitive teeth toothpaste, and then someone mentioned about eliminating flouride. I already know flouride is bad for you, I didn't think it was in my toothpaste though. But then I read it, and that's exactly the "medicinal ingredient" in my toothpaste!! If I stop using the "stupid toothpaste" I end up suffering from pain, so I think that's what I'd like to fix first :)
I can't do the water fasting because I'm already pretty small and can't afford to lose weight, but really ought to drink more water overall. I'm a terrible coffee drinker, that'll be tough to ever quit.

Yes, it makes sense that if you eat light then it takes less energy to digest it.
When you fast solely on water your hunger disappears completely after a few days and then doesn't return again until your stores are depleted, that's what I was referring to.
I thought of another healthy item for your list BTW; get enough sleep, for obvious reasons such as the need to recharge so we don't wear ourselves out and become stressed, which in turn releases too much cortisol which is highly toxic for our health (kills brain cells). A good night's sleep works wonders and staying well rested goes a long way in keeping us healthy.
Thanks for the encouragement, the saying is you'll get through it BTW. :flower:
Update: Oops, just remembered sleep was covered in the body clock part, so ignore that suggestion.

I do have teeth sensitivity issues as well. But I realized that if I eat non-sweet foods, I won't feel the pain at all. Some people might have worst teeth sensitivity issues. So ya, go and see your dentist is a good idea. Ask for a non- fluoride solution, I will be interested to know as well.
Same here petra, I am underweight and probably can only do intermittent fasting. Well, I don’t plan to do any fasting at the moment, just that eat when only I am hungry.
Have you tried to cut down your coffee slowly? It is recommended to buy genuine coffee beans and grind it down to make coffee. What I heard is coffee beans are getting more expensive due to global warming, which is cutting down the places where you can grow coffee beans. Plus, the demand is increasing. If you brought a pack of cheap grinded coffee beans, it could be added with some soil.
@ Rachel, now I got the basic idea of water fasting. If everyone knows water fasting surely this world will improve a lot.

For me it's not just sweets, anything that sticks to my teeth seems to be trouble, like crackers. Sweet are way worse than crackers though that is for sure, I gave up chocolate long ago.
I am in AWE about the fluoride!!! It is everywhere! I looked at my friend's regular toothpaste... fluoride. I looked at my old toothpaste I had before my sensitive teeth toothpaste... fluoride in that too! At that moment I could actually picture myself talking to the pharmacist in tears saying "I just want toothpaste with no fluoride in it...(boo hoo)"
I'm low on iron and I got some pills small enough to take, one big surprise was that the iron was behind the counter! I swear I was almost in tears looking for the iron too, felt like I was having a blind spurt again. When the girl told me the iron was behind the counter, I wasn't sure if I should jump for joy or facepalm :)

If you brought a pack of cheap grinded coffee beans, it could be added with some soil.
I have tried cutting down on coffee and that gives me headaches, that's an interesting idea regarding drinking better coffee though, thanks for that! I'd save soooo much money too if I could just stop going to Tim Horton's. I don't think I'd ever be able to give it up entirely ha ha... but at the very least should drink water sometimes too. For me, "coffee is food", and I know how silly that sounds.

I use this petra:

I get it from the supermarket, it's specially made for kids. The funny thing is I can't find fluoride-free toothpaste in the pharmacy :/
You could always make your own, it is safe and you know what ingredients are inside it:

I think you got some coffee addiction. Ya, drink self grind high quality coffee but don't get too addicted, hahahaha~~ The worst coffee are those 3 in 1 and 2 in 1 coffee. Never buy those and drink.

Thank you Leonard! Wow.... the answer is KIDS toothpaste.... I'm in awe!
I asked about it at the pharmacy yesterday. First I looked through all of their toothpaste and discovered there wasn't any without fluoride, and by that time I was getting pretty mad...
I asked the pharmacist "Is there any such a thing as toothpaste without fluoride?" and she didn't know. I know it exists.... I'm just trying not to be a jerk about it. I explained I thought it was only in the sensitive teeth toothpaste, and that people are starting to talk about how fluoride isn't good for you. Hopefully they'll get some in, but in the meantime I'll look in some supermarkets :)

I finally found the non-fluoridated toothpaste! So thankfully won't need to try and make it :) Mine has cute little smiling animals on it (which is just another added bonus!)

Also a good alternative to coffee... apple juice!! I'm still hooked on coffee... but apple juice is pretty addictive too apparently :)

You'll also find MANY varieties in any good health or whole food store.
And on Amazon: search results here. (Note: that's amazon.ca. US readers of course use amazon.com, UK users amazon.co.uk, etc etc)

That's most likely because apple juice has a very high sugar content, and will give you a (temporary!) blood sugar buzz, just as coffee will.
If you're hooked on having high blood sugar, one option to ameliorate that (calm it all down!) would be the Ketogenic (high fat, low carb) diet.
A major key to a long and healthy life: fasting or a ketogenic diet (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?89036-A-major-key-to-a-long-and-healthy-life-fasting-or-a-ketogenic-diet).

Thanks Bill, I have yet to get hooked on Amazon (he he!) but that's very helpful to others who shop online. I would have ended up making my own toothpaste before I'd even consider that.... but lately I'm starting to re-consider. Shopping online is starting to feel like the only option with some things.
You're probably right about sugar! I have a lot of sugar in my coffee too... three spoonfuls. Going to have to cut down on sugar. My teeth will thank me later :)
I've never heard of a ketogenic diet before, I'll check that out more. It seems a lot like vegetarian so far. I did a quick peek at Wikipedia too and for the Classic diet it said "Only low-carbohydrate fruits and vegetables are allowed" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet#Variants
Trying to "listen to my body" too, and I think I might make a good vegetarian. Meat does mostly kind of sicken me to be honest, can't even touch the raw chicken!!

Well, now I know I'm right! :) But more important may be your pancreas, which will be under continual daily high overload stress producing a great deal of insulin to bring your high blood sugar DOWN to normal levels.
If your pancreas breaks, then you're a diabetic.

Wow, Colgate has fluoride-free toothpaste. Must be new. I use Tom's of Maine, but there are at least two other fluoride-free brands at my local grocery store. Be sure to look at ingredients. I bought one not too long ago -- can't remember the brand -- and noticed it had sugar in it.

Good point. I started wondering about my mouthwash too... no fluoride in there, but sure is lots of other stuff. At least I'm spitting it out... mostly :)
Well Glycerin is kind of like sugar, and when I looked up Glycol first thing I learned is that's in antifreeze. That must be where the sweet taste comes from... other than the "flavor" ingredient. Here's the ingredients of the Colgate stuff:
Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, hydrated silica, sorbitol, water, poloxamer 407, cellulose gum, sodium saccharin, citric acid, flavor

Fluoride is not the only ingredient to avoid in toothpaste. I used to use Tom's of Maine, but our family has switched to safer toothpaste. Tom's of Maine toothpaste contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), which is a known carcinogen and commonly found in many soap and shampoo to make lather. You can read more about SLS here (https://smartklean.wordpress.com/2011/09/08/top-10-reasons-to-avoid-sodium-lauryl-sulfate/).
I recommend a toothpaste Himalaya toothpaste (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B009H4EJQQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Here are the ingredients list for this toothpaste:

I have been following Dr. Mercola's Metabolic Mitochondrial Therapy (MMT), which includes intermittent fasting, since last summer (June 2017). Am really enjoying the results so far; mainly changing my body composition from fat (lost 24 pounds) to muscle (still working on more muscles, but they are starting to show!), clarity of mind, more strength, more energy, and more stamina. Because I am well over 60, it took awhile for my system to convert from glucose to ketone burning. (BTW, I have been a raw fooder since 2003; however, not necessary for MMT.) The only testing I have done is test my urine with ketone strips.
I have the book "Fat for Fuel," which is useful if you really want to do this. Dr. Mercola emphasizes the necessity, over the long term, to cycle in and out of ketosis once you convert to burning ketones. He also emphasizes to keep protein intake at an adequate level, not excessive.
The first link gives an overview on the basics of Mercola's MMT program with a video interview of Dr. Mercola from May 21, 2017. Near the end of the article there is a section called "Getting Started" that has a link for the CRON-o-Meter, a free tool that I think is essential if you decide to do this.

The second link is from a woman who helped validate what I was going through during the "metabolic shift," which is a name for the process one goes through when switching from burning carbs (glucose) to burning fat (ketones). Also, I appreciated a woman's point of view about the ketogenic diet. Don't know if I will ever get my body to look like hers, though! (BTW, I will be 70 years old in less than a month.)

I've had heart attacks and strokes and open heart surgery. At one point I stopped taking prescription drugs but then later had another stroke.
So I guess I will have to keep taking drugs that kill 100,000 people in the US each year in order to "save my life."
I go to a natureopathic Dr. also and get advice from him but I still have to take the drugs.
Maybe at some point if my blood pressure and cholesterol levels are ok I may be able to stop taking those damn drugs.

Spirulina is the newest addition to my supplements for my health. Following a mostly vegetarian diet, some fish, I must take a good vitamin B (B100 is our choice). Less sugar and salt helps me. I'm getting more exercise lately thanks to a free fitness class nearby. I feel I have to do all I can to focus on maintaining and improving my health as I age having passed my fiftieth year. The body just needs extra care after so many decades under the weight of gravity, ha. My skin doesn't absorb sun so well anymore so vitamin D3 is essential. Vitamin C helps boost my immune system. Magnesium Citrate is helping these old bones and muscles. Fish oil helps my brain. And last year I was turned on to the benefits of K2 for extra bone strength.
My dad is also on pharma drugs for his heart disease and no doubt they have saved his life and continue to keep him alive. He always had good exercise maintenance but other unhealthy lifestyle choices made his heart weak and now drugs are necessary for him. I'm trying to strengthen my heart to hopefully lesson the potential impact of a similar fate.

just a note to add that like others have said, hydration with quality filtered (or spring) water is SO important for health. I get the best energy from raw fruits and some veggies, those raw enzymes are really really healthy. Dental health is very important too, flossing regularly will save the gums from disease.

QiGong is a good method with many different means/ways to maintain one's health. However, there is another method that is simple and effective to heal ourselves and others. I have met and learned this method from the co-founder of this method. She is coming to Cocoa Beach, FL in May to teach beginning and intermediate class free of charge.

Hello East Sun, allopathy uses surgeries and toxic medicines to mask the symptoms of the diseases. They didn't really cure it, so the patient will be back for more treatments, hence making more money.
Have you tried Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)? They are using more of the homeopathy approach. Which uses acupuncture and natural herbs to adjust your body and boost your immunity to fight the diseases. It will take awhile to adjust back your body, typically 1 month to 1 year. But once your body is adjusted, you no longer need the herbs. TCM will really help you to save a lot of health, money and time.
However, like every different field, there will always have black sheep. So you need to look for a creditable TCM practitioner and never believe in a TCM practitioner who get his/her cert in 3 months.
Wish you Speedy recovery and all the best bro~~ Peace :sun:

Everything stems from the thoughts/thinking patterns of the human being ... Negative thoughts negative results, positive thoughts, positive results, where the mind goes the body follows ... You reap what you sow ... Cause and effect , yin and yang... It's going to start with a persons thinking...
This is exactly my philosophy. Do you know the kybalion?
The Principle of Mentalism “The All is Spirit; the Universe is Mental "
The Principle of Correspondence “What is above is like what is below; what is below is like what is above”
The Principle of Vibration “Nothing rests; everything stirs; everything vibrates ”
The Principle of Polarity “Everything is Double; everything has poles; everything has two extremes; similar and unlike have the same meaning; the opposite poles have an identical nature but different degrees; the extremes meet; all truths are only half truths; all paradoxes can be reconciled ”
The Principle of Rhythm "Everything flows, inside and out; everything has its duration; everything evolves then degenerates; the swing of the pendulum manifests itself in everything; the measure of its oscillation to the right is similar to the measure of its oscillation to the left; the rhythm is constant ”
The Principle of Cause and Effect "Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens in accordance with the law; Luck is just a name given to the little-known Law; there are many planes of causality, but nothing escapes the law "
The Principle of Gender “There is a gender in all things; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests itself on all levels ”

Good for you. Remember Qi Gong is about body mind and spirit. All three must work together. True Qi Gong should include Meridian balancing. See "Qigong for Meridian Balance and Wellness" by Dr. Jake Fratkin on Youtube. He spent many years studying in China.
