The 8.2 magnitude recent earthquake in the linked thread, is potentially generating a Tsunami that could affect the west coast of the U.S.

Folk on that coastline are urged by authorities to seek higher ground as there is a significant possible risk.

Here is a map of the affected areas and timelines for when the wave may hit .

It is the middle of the night in the affected regions. Folk who know folk who live on the coast there, might want to give them a call and wake them up. Perhaps they have emergency alarms in those places, but they might not.

The wave would have reached Alaska already, but no reports. It looks like the wave is propagating in a southeasterly direction towards the Queen Charlotte Islands, North Vancouver Island then southerly towards Wash State, Oregon and California.

There was an 8.2 (ish) earthquake off the coast of Alaska on Tuesday bluestflame, and this appears to be generating a Tsunami wave that may hit the West coastline of the United States and Canada, and there is a warning for folk in the areas affected to reach higher ground. It is very early morning there though, so there will be a lot of people still asleep.

Kodiak Police Department gave a video warning on their face book page an hour ago. Get to a height of 100 feet or above, they are saying.

Here is a link to that fb page.

Face Book page with live feed on the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, CA (West Coast of America).

ADD ON: Folk talking on the above fb page 7 minutes ago,are talking about the water leaving the Kodiak Bay area (which indicates it could be forming a Tsunami)

Just an initial guess ... not liking it. There are reports that the channel in Kodiak has emptied out!! This was over a very long interval. It suggets to me that the wave (and the ocean) is propagating south sucking the ocean away from Alaska. It W I L L return! Pray... can't image a more frightening thing than a big wave in the dark!

Someone who has a little brother in Kodiak, was sent a video to her that he filmed. They are in an evacuation center, which is the gym at the local school. They are fine at the mo.

Keep an eye on what that wave is doing, heading towards the coast of Alaska. Hopefully, it dies out, before hitting.

SO we got a quake M8 and it makes a wave of 10 m ? doesn´t sound like a quake to me then...direct energy weapons? Dont recall the date but near Indonisia happened the same thing. They got alerted but the water did not move either.
I am glad everyone is allrigt and "nothing" happened... much love

H.A.A.R.P. -- I hope they get it! LOL

Not by storm, though. It reminded me of a facility that they took down...don't remember where, but positive action, that's for sure.

Glad everyone is ok. I'm in Oregon. :)

I don't know enough about energy weapons, but all those areas are on the "Ring Of Fire" and seismic activity does not stop in our day and age, just because we think we have pretty much most things under control. Weather sounds like it is on it's way there to being controlled, earthquakes can be triggered, but the earth still is evolving and moving about, whether we exist on it for a nano second or not. I think the sun has more influence regarding most seismic activity.

Yes, we're in the "ring of fire" in the Cascade Mountain range.

Years ago I was driving back up to Oregon from California on I-5 and I suddenly got this strange premonition and I said to my friend, there are going to earthquakes AND volcanoes. It was just a feeling/message with no details or explanation.

Definitely including the west coast.

Intuition might be more reliable than the news nowadays!

Whether weaponized weather or seismic activity it's best to stay alert. :)

i hope this doesn't trigger the big seaquake predicted in the Oregon/northern California area ... we know too well what a 9.0 does out at sea ...

I can't shake the notion that yesterdays happenings are a warning to the US. Earth is a sentient being & Will tolerate it's current state no longer.

Flow of seismic force for 7 - 10 days...

Also mentioning volcano eruptions.

Watch: Washington just above Oregon border
Oregon, Grants Pass
Northern California (near Mt. Shasta)
Mt. St. Helen (& nearby Mt. Rainier)

California fractures and ancient volcanoes
L.A. - human drill points (oil) (1of 5 warning points)

Staying alert.

Edit:addition

A lunar eclipse during the 7 - 10 day alert window.
At around 3:10 mark.

That scare last night for everyone involved was maybe a wake up call to "be prepared".
I think I would seriously consider not living next to the ocean if at all possible. Having said that, I live near a river that floods every now and then. Sometimes, you don't have a huge choice, not really. Not when the cost of living comes into it (no pun intended).
