This had 'fake news' scrawled all over it from the get-go. I'm pretty staggered yet at the same time not surprised that the mainstream audience may have swallowed this baloney, hook line and sinker.

I made the point on another thread somewhere here on the forum that any hacking activity would most likely have come from a 'domestic' source, from a 3 character agency much closer to home employing operatives in rogue compartments; that's the usual MO. And in any case - and he would certainly know - Vladimir Putin has already, maybe at least a year ago or so now, put on record in an interview that he did with Megan Kelly that IP addresses are routinely cloned and fabricated. Russia have sweet s*d all to do with any of this and anyone would be fool to believe it.

I'm glad this memo has come out; it is, or at least attempting to, set the record straight. No, Trump isn't perfect, not by some distance on many policy issues, but some things he is attempting to achieve are positive.

It has always been in the Russian (and Chinese, for that matter) interest to cause dissension and confusion in the House of the Main Enemy, the United States. This is Old Chekist practice going back to the Thirties. So Russian interference and Active Measures operations in the U.S. and Britain, especially during our election cycles, should have surprised no one.

The notion that senior Administration officials of one party are using the National Security organs of state to undermine an incoming President or one in power is new only if one ignores the actions of, say, the Kennedys against Nixon with the IRS or the serial abuse of that Agency by the Obama people against their political opponents. What IS disturbing is the return of the use of organs of Richard Dolan’s National Security State against a sitting President, which we last saw on this scale in 1963.

I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg with regard to the CIA’s involvement in all of this, which I suspect is acting as the ringmaster behind those elements at DOJ and FBI who wanted to remove Trump and replace him with the more malleable Pence. The fact that there has been no mention of the Agency at all should be raising a few eyebrows, at least around here.

** To be fair- it should be noted that Admiral Mike Rodgers, then head of the NSA, tipped off Trump in Early December of 2016 that he was being wiretapped by the Obama people and that he needed to take action in that regard.
