Hi All Avalonians, Guests,

I came accross this Web site where they were saying the following, the link below.

"GAO will be able to audit Fed
By Erik Wasson - 12/28/10 05:19 PM ET

The failure to pass a full-year CR will not hinder the Government Accountability Office from carrying out its tasks in the coming months, including its new job of auditing the Federal Reserve.

The full-year continuing resolution (CR) had included increased funding for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to conduct its oversight functions, and this funding adjustment did not make it into the March 4 CR.

Despite this, GAO had planned for no increase in funding and its duties will not be affected, spokeswoman Laura Kopelson said. The GAO under the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill is now required to audit the Federal Reserve’s emergency lending program, instituted in the wake of the financial crisis.

This new task will go forward because the Fed audit will be reimbursed by the Fed, she said.

The short-term CR will allow GAO to collect higher reimbursements for its activities, she noted."

I don't see how Governmental Accountability Office can audit the Federal Reserve...? The Federal Reserve is a private/public entreprise. Will the private side of the Federal Reserve accepts be audited....?

Ha! Anyone remember the Warren Report? The WTC/911 Report? Any other finding of any number of egregious acts, covered up like so much cat poop? yeah, audit the Fed. It's like letting 15 year olds grade their own algebra test. think any of them will fail?

Looks like a major step forward....

Audit the Fed (http://www.chooseliberty.org/auditrphf2.aspx?pid=0619c)

After years of fighting for a thorough audit of the Federal Reserve, Campaign for Liberty stands on the verge of turning Audit the Fed into the law of the land!

Congressman Ron Paul's H.R. 459 is scheduled for a vote THIS JULY in the U.S. House, and Senator Rand Paul stands ready to advance S. 202 in the Senate.

As Congress continues to spend TRILLIONS of taxpayer dollars, and the Federal Reserve keeps operating without any real transparency or accountability, it's never been more important to turn up the pressure and finish this fight!

With your help, C4L can send a clear message to Capitol Hill: Pass the Audit the Fed bill!

After you complete the below petition to your representative, please also make a generous contribution to help Campaign for Liberty get more folks in this fight through email, phones, social media, and press.

Campaign for Liberty operates as government should, meaning we will not go into debt. Our efforts to Reclaim the Republic and Restore the Constitution are only possible thanks to our members' ongoing financial support.

Pass Audit the Fed Petition to:
My Representative

Whereas: The Federal Reserve still refuses to give a full public accounting of the TRILLIONS in recent taxpayer-backed loans; and

Whereas: The U.S. House is scheduled to vote on H.R. 459, the Audit the Fed bill, this July; and

Whereas: Allowing the Fed to remain out of control and shrouded in secrecy clearly allows for abuse and the continued stealing of our tax dollars through inflation and unaccounted electronic bank "loans"; and

Whereas: The Federal Reserve's abuses lead to constant economic crises like the current housing crisis, international banking crisis, and the resulting chaos; and

Whereas: The Federal Reserve System forces fuel, food, housing, medical care, and education costs upward, meaning that everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of money slowly decreases; and

Whereas: History shows us that riots, violence, and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize fiat money isn't worth the paper it's printed on and REFUSE to accept it;

Therefore: I urge you to vote "Yes" on a complete and thorough audit of the Fed this July

Ain't gonna happen, the machine is not going to unplug itself.

Also, the fine folks in D.C. will use any petition as virtual toilet paper. They don't give a flying rat's ass what we the unwashed masses think, remember?
