Walking the dogs tonight at 20:18 when I caught sight of a quite massive yellow and orange discharge up in or above the clouds.
South East London, Kingston Upon Thames area.
Layers of grey cloud with gaps

It was like cloud to cloud lightening with several pulses but instead of white/blue it was yellow/orange.

Length of clouds was my hand+wrist length held out arm distance.

No audio thunder to it.

Imagination sees a quick battle above the clouds.

Adding: It illuminated the whole length of cloud, showing the outline top to bottom.

Not sure if it's the same type of thing, but when I was a kid growing up in the central part of the US, there would be, on occasion, storms that would have an orange(ish) type of lightning. And this orange lightning was always in the clouds. Never ground strikes. And, you would never see the actual streak of lightning. You would only see the clouds "light up" with that orangish glow. And no thunder.

Seemed somewhat common at the time, and nobody ever gave it a second thought. (I'm talking about over 50 years ago. Crap, I'm getting old). :)

Hi Orph and yes I would say that is the same kind of phenomena, I have seen it a few times before myself.

Quite impressive isn't it.

BTW, the old saying " You are as old as you feel" I.m 59 this year o.0
but when you think of our two ages it's quite puny even if added together ha.
150 would be quite old but to some in the past that would be just a tenth! or so myths say.
