I don't know. Could be fake... I always get suspicious when they film such an event for only 30 seconds.

Is it the sun?

Pausing @ 30 seconds it seems that it might be a reflection as the object is in front of the tree.

It certainly looks like the sun, although it does seem to "move" in a strange way. Maybe the road is curved that they are travelling on, or maybe it is a reflection of the sun somehow on the windows. The colour seems perfect for the setting sun.

Just my thoughts...

Very interesting, had to watch it 6 or so times in a row, still not sure in my mind.

Yes it dose at first look like the setting sun masked between cloud layers causing it to look like a tube shape.
Objects like the sun/moon etc, at a distance can look like they are moving in relation to you, but as the film progresses it seems to speedup independently to the camera. That might be because the camera was held back from direction of the car movement?

The way the object seems to get smaller helps make it look UFO'ish, Cloud closing in maybe.

Still not sure about this one? ;)

Any other UFO reports of similar description for that time?
