I can see people in high places building their own android army , and the value of humanity being reduced to zero ... they download your consciousness into a robot , then the robot kills you , and assumes your life as you ... this is scary , so many things could go wrong ... interesting find ...

The logic of this sort of thing defies its validity or at least redefines what is possible.

If they intend to replace humanity with robots, then that implies that until now that has been beyond their ability. If so, it further implies that no other beings can do that either because if they could they probably would. Or, there are no aliens or other hidden denizens of advanced abilities on this planet. But if there are aliens and they do not use such tech, which they surely could if they wanted, it must mean there are some very good reasons for not using it.

And lastly, it could very well be that some far more advanced group has already mastered this technology and it is us who are their product: the best blend of biology and essence - under complete and utter control from dimensions beyond our ken.

hmm... sounds like the replicant imagery in Blade Runner 2049 (great movie btw... anyone check it out yet? Obviously not as good as the original (since nothing could duplicate what Ridley caught on film for that one... but it comes pretty damn close... with lots of nostalgic allusion to the original...
