Thanks for the question truthseeker I'm glad you appreciate the Aussie style and take on Canada.

Being thrown in the deep end (which you well and truely knew you were doing and that I wouldn't have an adequate response to the question) I don't have any solutions for Canada there local issues which needs local solutions so that's for you to get involved with and figure out.

P.S.
You might be able to get some benefit and inspiration from this rumble channel, where the Australia One Party is actively formulating the means to run Australia and in the future become elected to run Australia.

Also at the moment they are taking action against the upcoming illegal elections, by "boycotting the ballot and barbie instead" which is a very Australian thing to do when you want to stick it to the man.

Thanks BMJ, I do appreciate the Aussie style and take on Canada. In fact we have two great friends who are awaiting an opportunity to emigrate to Aus to be closer to their grandkids.

We are in a mess for sure. It is especially frustrating to see the deceit and corruption at play for one party in particular to win votes at all cost. In fact they are so arrogant and smug that it almost seems like the election will be rigged for them to stay in power. The real disappointment I find is the many folks in our population who are so filled with fear they actually are falling for the smoke and mirrors routine.

I can only do what is immediately available to me and cast my vote on April 28th and say a swift prayer (I'll include my friends in Aus).

... And to those Canadians on P A still believing that Carney is the answer to "The Donald": why is our government still prorogued with an unelected leader? Did you enjoy that tremendous economic boom Canada experienced over the last 9 years? Do you still consider the over 50,000 protestors in the trucking rally a threat to democracy, influenced by international right wing terrorists? Do you actually understand (and deserve) freedom?

And now, those same newcomers, who know nothing of our land or our past, who hate the west as the standard position, want to go to war with Trump and America.
So many here in Canada are brainwashed that they might actually take Canada down just to make a point, because all woke freak leftists hate Trump by default.

As most of my followers know, I left Canada in January 2021 out of genuine concern that if I didn’t, I would never be able to leave. I predicted I would be targeted by the government on account of my political dissidence—specifically due to my criticisms of Covid mandates, increasing authoritarianism, and attacks on free speech by the government, as well as on account of the fact I have been the most prominent and vocal critic of gender identity ideology and legislation in Canada for over a decade now.

I went to Mexico and watched things get progressively worse in Canada. My choice to leave was reaffirmed over and over again. When Trudeau’s Liberals went after the Freedom Convoy and its supporters, freezing the bank accounts of Canadian citizens who had done nothing wrong, but were fighting for their Charter rights, I began limiting my dependence on Canadian banking institutions as well. This was a dangerous, authoritarian government and I didn’t want to be left vulnerable and dependent on a government I suspected would attempt to silence and destroy me in one way or another. Despite this, I have maintained a much stronger connection to Canada than our apparent Prime Minister, Mark Carney, as I have continued to return to the country to fight for women’s rights, speak at events, visit family and friends, and to cover Canadian politics extensively in my work.

I still hadn’t completely given up on the country, and with an election pending, I saw one last opportunity to fight for change, and to force some conversations that had been suppressed in my progressive Vancouver East riding. Last month, I decided to run as a Canadian Member of Parliament, and began to publicize my decision to run for the People’s Party of Canada (PPC)—the only party truly committed to fighting for freedom and women’s sex-based rights.

My candidacy was confirmed officially on Tuesday. That same day, I tried to access my bank account and could not. I contacted my bank, Vancity, and was informed the account had been frozen as per direction from the government. I had accessed my account just two days prior, so the timing was clear. I had not been informed of this freezing by anyone — not the bank, not the government. No one attempted to contact me. I was completely blindsided.

When I contacted my bank they refused to give me any information beyond the fact they were following government orders, and they gave me a number and name to contact. I called the number, and got a voicemail saying the employee was on vacation all week. So basically this guy froze my bank account and immediately went on vacation.

His voicemail offered another extension to call, which I did. No one answered, so I left a message. I called again later that day and left another message. No one returned my call, so I called back the next day and left another message. Still no one returned my call. The following day I called again and received a message saying I could not get through on account of “technical difficulties.” I tried calling a general number, and asked the woman on the other end of the phone if she could please refer me to someone who could provide me with information about why my bank account was frozen. She told me, “I can’t give you any information unless you give me more information about what’s going on,” to which I responded, “I have no information, that’s why I’m calling you: to get information.” We went back and forth like this for a while until I asked her if she was retarded and then said, “What exactly is your job—what is it you are being paid to do with the tax dollars of Canadians.” She explained her job was to refer people who called to the appropriate departments, numbers, and individuals. “Ok,” I said. “Then can you please refer me to someone who can explain to me what is going on with my bank account.” She said “No,” and I hung up.

It has now been a week since my bank account was frozen and I have received zero communication or information from the government.

I had a flight booked back to Canada today, which I cancelled, because if my bank account is frozen I can’t operate in the country and because I am very concerned about what awaits me upon arrival. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk of persecution or attempted prosecution so will not be returning to Canada, despite my original intention to come back to campaign.

I am completely appalled that this is how the Canadian government treats its citizens, accountability-free. It is unacceptable and reprehensible to freeze the bank accounts of Canadians, leaving them potentially starving, homeless, and unable to survive—EVER, never mind without contacting them, communicating with them, or providing them with any information.

I cannot help but note that the timing of all this is incredibly sketchy, and so my suspicion is that I am being targeted for political reasons, and that the government is attempting to find an excuse to criminalize me, as well as to punish me generally on account of my continued criticisms of the ruling Liberal party.

It also worth noting that the freezing of my bank account at this precise moment constitutes election interference, as I am now prevented from returning to Canada to campaign in my riding.

I knew things were bad in Canada—they have been moving in a terrifying direction for years, and yet far too many Canadians refuse to take their heads out of the sand and see that they are living under an increasingly authoritarian, punitive, evil government, never mind push back against this tyranny.

Canadians are mere weeks away from having their rights and freedoms completely disappeared, yet many remain in hysterics about Donald Trump and an electric vehicle company owned by an American man who has zero impact on the lives of regular Canadians.

I am lucky to have a platform where I can speak up about these things—many Canadians don’t, and the government will therefore easily get away with doing whatever they like to their citizens, accountability-free, knowing most regular Canadians are left without recourse.

This government is sick. Things are not fine. Things are very bad. And if Canadians don’t wake up now, en masse, things will undoubtedly get worse.

I am incredibly disappointed that I won’t be able to return to Vancouver to run a campaign and meet with residents in my riding, and have those conversations that need to be had. I also read a few days back that the conservative candidate for Quebec "supposedly" didn't "register" in time, or something along those lines and he was too late to be part of the election so there isn't a conservative option on the ballot??? The plan is referred to as the Cloward Piven Strategy. The man they have chosen to complete this agenda is Mark Carney.

In February 2021, Carney co-authored a report for the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, where he pushed for removing capital from carbon-based industries and redirecting it into climate-compliant investments. The direct outcome of this has been a reduction in oil and gas supply, spiking prices across the board.
In July 2022, Carney’s climate agenda began affecting Canadian energy producers when major banks stopped issuing loans to oil and gas firms unless they complied with net-zero targets. With fuel prices soaring, Canadians now face historic inflation. Food banks across the country report record demand. In Canada, the cost of groceries has increased from March 2020 to March 2025, approximately 30.2 percent in total.
Carney knows these policies crush the middle class. That is the point. When individuals struggle to feed their families or fill their gas tanks, they stop resisting.
3. DEFUND AND DESTABILIZE LAW ENFORCEMENT

On June 8, 2020, just days after the death of George Floyd in the United States, Carney wrote an op-ed in the Globe and Mail endorsing social movements that called for defunding police. In that article, he promoted the idea that institutions need to be reformed to serve “social justice” rather than law and order. His exact words were that the economy must become more “inclusive” and must reflect new social priorities.
In Canada, this narrative led to police budget reductions in major cities, including Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The result has been a significant rise in violent crime, carjackings, and open drug use. As cities become less safe, public demand increases for technological surveillance, biometric security, and government monitoring. Carney has supported the digital ID infrastructure that will replace traditional policing with algorithmic control.
4. CONTROL EDUCATION TO INDOCTRINATE THE NEXT GENERATION

In October 2020, Carney became head of the Brookfield ESG advisory group, which has since partnered with the United Nations to fund youth education programs across North America. I kind of knew it was over for Poilievre but was still holding out hope. It's hard for me to fathom how anyone could vote for a central banker/globalist. It's a spectacularly stupid thing to do, and there isn't a palm face emoji big enough to express my exasperation atm. I'm not just singling out Canadians here btw; millions of Americans voted for Biden, so this kind of thing happens all around the world.

It has a lot to do with enjoying the world of illusions. So, even if they have fairly good intelligence when it comes to managing some hard job or building things with their hands, when it comes to anything that threatens their world view, their critical thinking pretty much shuts down.

Their thinking gets super simple and sees one point that lines up with the usual side they are on and thats enough to defend their position. Every day i see comments with the worst analysis ever in order to maintain some belief or position.

Evidence is coming up on social media today indicating this election was rigged in favor of the Carney's Liberals. Apparently ( I still have to double-check this with other reliable sources) Pierre Poilievre even lost in his own riding because, for the first time ever, a hundred 'independent' candidates were listed on the ballot for Poilievre's riding, in addition to the Liberal candidate.

In recent weeks, Trump was reported in the media as stating his preference for dealing with Carney. Trump was just yesterday pushing for Canada becoming the 51st state.
After these election results, many Canadians on social media are now discussing joining the USA, emphasis on certain provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan.

'New pilot project to study mosquito population in Sea to Sky region

This summer, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Public Health and the BC Centre for Disease Control — together with partners from Líl̓wat Nation, Squamish Nation and the University of BC — are undertaking a small-scale mosquito surveillance pilot project in the Sea to Sky region to better understand the local mosquito population and the viruses they carry.

The project has been implemented in response to a small cluster of cases of mosquito-borne illness reported late last year. In 2024, four cases of California Serogroup (CSG) viruses — specifically Snowshoe Hare Virus (SSHV) and Jamestown Canyon Virus (JCV) — presented with encephalitis, or swelling of the brain. While these are not new infections in the province, the number and severity of the cases triggered an investigation by VCH Public Health, which found that all four patients likely acquired the infections locally within the Sea to Sky corridor.

“While we encourage outdoor recreation and activity, we’re advising residents and travellers to the Sea to Sky area to take preventative measures against mosquito bites, between now and fall; and if they do get bitten, to be aware of and seek health care if they develop neurological symptoms like confusion, seizures or severe headaches with fever,” said Dr. Moliehi Khaketla, Medical Health Officer for Vancouver Coastal Health. VCH Public Health has also communicated with local health professionals to ensure they are aware of the need to consider the CSG viruses as a cause for all severe neurological presentations of encephalitis and meningitis during the mosquito season.

“We’re also undertaking the mosquito surveillance project to learn more about the risk to the public,” said Dr. Khaketla. Mosquito traps have been set up at select sites throughout the region, guided by local community knowledge and study team expertise. The study will help update the list of mosquito species in the area and test mosquitoes for potential human pathogens. Overall, the project will gather data that helps further assess risk and inform Public Health advice on precautions against mosquito-borne illness in the Sea to Sky area.

JCV and SSHV have been identified provincially and nationally for decades but reported cases of human illness are rare. Cases typically occur from May to October when there is increased mosquito activity; however, this period may be extended due to the increasingly warmer temperatures associated with climate change. Prior to this cluster, 10 cases of JCV or SSHV had been reported provincially since 2009, with two in the VCH region. Serological surveys from other parts of Canada have found between one and 42 per cent of the population show evidence of prior infection, which suggests these viruses may be a cause of mild summer viral illness and an under-recognized cause of meningitis and encephalitis.

In most cases, CSG viruses do not cause symptoms. When symptoms do occur (usually five-15 days after the mosquito bite), they are typically flu-like, including fever, headache, fatigue, and occasionally nausea or vomiting. Most individuals recover without the need for treatment, but in rare cases, the viruses can lead to more serious conditions such as meningitis or encephalitis, which may require hospitalization and a longer recovery time. Symptoms of meningitis or encephalitis may include confusion, seizures, and/or severe headaches with fever. There is currently no human vaccine available to prevent acquiring CSG viruses.

Prevention

VCH Public Health recommends both residents and visitors to the Sea-to-Sky region take preventative measures during summer and fall. Any action that helps prevent mosquito bites or breeding can reduce the risk of infection with the CSG viruses. Simple ways to protect yourself include:

Use mosquito repellent – Applying a mosquito repellent to areas of exposed skin is an excellent way to prevent mosquito bites. Check the product label for instructions on proper use. For more information about insect repellents, see HealthLinkBC File #96 Insect repellents and DEET.
Wear protective clothing – Avoid dark clothing as it tends to attract mosquitoes. In areas with a lot of mosquitoes, wear full-length pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
Install mosquito screens on windows – Consider staying indoors or in enclosed areas with screens when mosquitoes are most active or abundant, which is typically from dusk to dawn.
Prevent mosquitoes from breeding – Anything that can hold stagnant water could be a mosquito breeding site, even small amounts. Identify and remove these areas on your property during mosquito season, this might include emptying saucers under flowerpots, changing water in birdbaths twice a week, unclogging rain gutters, draining tarps, tires and other debris where rainwater may collect, and installing a fountain to ornamental ponds or stocking them with fish. Backyard pools can also be a significant breeding ground for mosquitoes if not maintained regularly.'

Dear readers, we are living a distopian nightmare, I agree!

But to clarify, the hiking ban is not as bad as dished out in these stories.

We own several hectares of woods in Nova Scotia and are not prevented from access to our own land.

My wife and I do live in the area where the Long Lake wild fire has been out of control to include over 8200 hectares with some homes lost and where many evacuations were required. We have had a severe drought since June 2025 with litteraly no rain at all to speak of. These fires require a lot of extra resources to fight. Now at the end of September our fire is under control but will keep burning underground for another year they suspect. A new fire has started in the province which they are battling right now. There is still no rain in the forecast. With the big emphasis on hiking and camping today, for us residents who have invested our lives in these rural areas, due caution is warranted.

A real question to ponder should be: why are many of the regions contributing to the national food supply plagued by severe drought or flooding? Our Nova Scotia valley area has a lot of farms producing vegetables and fruits. Our region in particular has been plagued by severe drought.

The NS government is under leadership of a globalist supporter (a former accountant for Black Rock). They are trying to creep in hidden legislations restricting rights and freedoms, the latest an omnibus bill where one component bans public protests from blocking logging roads subject to a fine of $50K, under the guise of "public safety". They are also trying to reverse a moratorium on uranium mining which not too many years ago was put into place after much consultation and major public support.

Yes there are many battles ahead, even in this small province, but the "woods ban" was the least of our worries.

The family was not allowed any access to them, even at the end before the slaughter to say goodbye to them, some of the birds were 35-40 years old and were with them from the very beginning. They have been abused, starved and the owners prevented from calling a vet/treating the ones have been harmed by this organization. And, now it looks like the "org" is stealing the eggs and leaving the devastated family with nothing.

I agree, it is very sad and disgusting indeed what took place on this farm, but, there is a lot more going on than meets the eye I think. Please don't shoot me for my reasoning, as I am not in any way condoning what the authorities did here and how they handled the situation.

I have not gone into deep research on the story hence I don't have all the facts. My question is WHY did these orders to cull appear like they came from a higher level of bureaucracy? I did not find any strong lobbying by any animal welfare organizations such as the humane society. The H1N1 narrative is very likely an excuse to sell to the public and judiciary.

According to the ostrich farm's website these birds were not raised for meat but were involved in viral research. Four hundred ostriches require around 800 kg of feed every day. Where did the food come from? What revenue were they generating to pay to feed these birds? (my neighbours raise chickens and complain how expensive the feed is).

I'm just saying there is a bigger picture at play here with more than likely some very powerful players in the background.

I've been following this madness for months now and there has been an abundance of reports, podcasts, interviews etc. (as well as lots of misinfo from MSM) since January on this farm. The Universal Ostrich Farm website (which has detailed all the news/events from the beginning of this fiasco) seems to have been tampered with or there is a glitch with the site since the videos, podcasts, etc. with the family, veterinarians, scientists, etc. are no longer accessible. There has been a wealth of information on this and there has been a lot of misinfo and governmental pushback as well. Despite the family's numerous requests to the CFIA to run tests on the living healthy birds, the CFIA have refused. The family has said they would run independent tests as well and the CFIA threatened them with a $250,000 fine if they ran any tests on their ostriches. This seems to have everything to do with Big Pharma, the WHO and money. This lot are certainly not looking for a "cure"! I read something yesterday that this organization is now now looking at an ostrich farm in Ontario. The (supposedly contaminated) carcasses from the Universal Ostrich farm are apparently on their way to Vancouver to be rendered into pet food. There is a lot of concern that this kind of conduct could branch out to domestic pets as well. There was a report that apparently domestic house cats are susceptible to avian influenza as well - not sure where that will lead. The eggs are being collected by CFIA and prior to the cull, there were a number of ostriches that were reported to have received injections (probably collecting blood) from CFIA. The CFIA likely knew what the outcome would be with the Supreme Court (liberal puppets) ruling as they had begun the kill during the stay order and had probably reduced the numbers by a 100 or more before even getting the green light by the Court. I think there is still a lot more to come out about all this. In a nutshell (my personal feelings), this awful event is really all about power, money, corruption and serving a depop agenda - saving humanity isn't part of that program!
