View Full Version : Searching for answers

I think it would be nice to establish clear two way communication with Soul (High Self), ask a question and get a clear answer.
If Soul determines the answer is better not given, it could answer why it is not.
When asking for answers, I wonder if guides (support team) or Soul can best provide the answers. Our job is to use intuition and pay attention to our physical body to evaluate the response. Good info or manipulation? I feel that manipulators and parasitic control freaks are many, in more than this reality.
If we get a personal visit from ETs, if they need ships to get here maybe they are not the ETs we want to chat with.
Psychics are another source potentially valuable information if you can find a good one, or distortion. I do like Carol Clarke. But if I rely on psychics too much, then I am not developing my own intuitive abilities. I am remembering an Edgar Cayce quote "Be your own psychic."
For me, psychic readings are always fun and sometimes may be of value.

I know the OP inquiry well. What I have discovered is that verbal and pictorial answers are often repackaged questions in and of themselves. Each answer coming with it's own set of questions and so on and so forth.
The following quotes are most certainly unsatisfactory answers to the inquisitive mind (I am well aware) yet valid suggestions nevertheless...
"The quieter you become the more you can hear"
"Silence isn't empty. Its full of answers."
"Let silence take you to the core of life." -Rumi
P.s. My 'spirit/soul/ high self etc.' suggested to remain silent and not post but as you can see, sometimes the rebel speaks. ;)

Yes, I feel getting quiet makes one more receptive.
From my own experience, I sometimes hear a name or sentence when I am very busy.

There is a lot of value to be gained from any source, I think. Sometimes, even that dude holding the "End is Near" sign on the corner. At least you know what advice not to follow, right?
After so many years seeking, understanding the world to be what it is and listening to the New Age as well as the ancient Gurus and Sages and Teachers, bearing witness to the amount of crockery that there must have always been in the world, I've come to understand that belief and knowledge are two different things. We can believe many things and not know them. Experience is the difference.
According to many, even that is suspect. Even the "Guides" could be out for their own interests, and why not? In a polarized creation where sustenance depends upon the "higher order" consuming the "lower order" why should they not "eat" our loosh, our homage to their vibratory "supremacy"? So what if our adoration and prayers feed them, if it is the way the multiverse is built? The "natural order of things"? At least, this sector of it. If Higher Self is a composite of many lower selves, it consumes our individuated experiences in a way.
We die, then return to the greater collective self. Some say we retain awareness as soul shards even then, but even in the best of scenarios, we are working at a deficit as flesh bags and really well-advertised 75-odd-year energy drinks.
Its all a good excuse to listen to all sources and believe none of them. Only what you know yourself or can eventually prove by your own experience. Which, for most of us i think, ends up being precious little.

I found in asking my questions a pendulum or muscle testing quite valuable in refining the line of questioning.
Information from "above" so to speak has to come through ones own filters of what the mind has stored as useful analogous imagery.
Often the information has meaning beyond what I take the images to be. That's when muscle testing comes in handy to quickly determine if I understood the answer correctly or if it needs a deepening of understanding.
If it needs deepening allow yourself a few hours to days even, checking in whenever a "new" thought enters your mind to test if that has relevance to the answer you received.

Yes, belief is a problem when new information may be a conflict.
I like Mark Twain's philosophy. Have no beliefs, only strong suspicions.

I think this is an important question. It is very conceivable that the answer is different for each person. Many of us understand some things intellectually but don't really know why. For instance, most people believe that everything and every person on the planet and in the universe are connected but they don't really know how.
Many people "want to believe" things but don't really believe them deep down in their soul. For instance, most people "want to believe" in UFOs but they don't really know if they should or they shouldn't. After all very few people have seen one.
I believe the answers that we are constantly searching for... we already have. To find these answers we just need to go inside ourselves. Spending time with guides and psychic's may have value but if you really want to have a conversation with your soul you need to internalize the discussion. After all, it is just between the two of you and while you are on this planet you are combined into one entity.
Many people would probably say that meditation is the best method to open up a dialogue with soul. I have never been one to sit still and try to clear my mind but I can put a thought in my mind and bring it to the surface over a period of days weeks or even months. After a great deal of on and off thought I almost always get the answers I have been searching for.
The amazing thing is that the answers are always simple, never complex and always right in front of your nose. The aha moment is so simple I often wonder why I did not see it in the first place. It is a fleeting moment of clarity.

@Ron
"Our job is to use intuition and pay attention to our physical body to evaluate the response"- yes, exactly-
as for psychics: obviously there are many people out there with paranormal abilities but I think one should be wary if they charge a fixed price for a session; my 1st psychic reading (past life regression- extremely revealing; she knew things about me I never told anyone) was during the 80's in Bremen, Germany by an Irish woman named Tollah; she didn't want any money whatsoever but those who had organized this session (I just tagged along) and I gave her a bit of money and she was very gratefull- but no fixed price-
also during that time I sporadically consulted A Belgian woman/psychic living in Bremen (no fixed price); she told me no earth-shattering news but everything she told me (just little "s**t) came true- I always gave her a small donation (wasn't rich at the time- am not now either)-
the venerable psychic Edgar Cayce (look at his legacy) never once demanded money/a fixed price-
please be well Ron and all readers-

Make sure you know who you are first or you will only ask questions based on a pseudo-self whose reality is merely a dream.
