Since we here in the united states now pride ourselves on pointing out fake news right away and our broadcasters are so good at it, I say let's open the curtain to the show for free admission for your viewing pleasure!

Oh and as an encore to our intelligence , watch this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLXQ0qbq6jY , being informed about "yeah baby" , " birthday budgets" , and "ice cream-you scream" has enhanced my life in so many ways. Thankfully I shut off the cable 6 months ago, here in the states you can still get 12+ channels just with rabbit ears. :) and I very rarely watch the major news and when I do I am listening to every word they are twisting. I can't believe these people are getting millions of dollars as a talking puppet.

High ranking public officials also read from teleprompters just like these news anchors. The question is, who is writing the script? That is who is really in power.

My understanding is that it was a unified mission statement for a group of about 124 stations owned by a new company ( forgot the company name )following a FOX type of journalism. Maybe called Sinclair?

Sinclair is not new - just a lot bigger once consolidation of local news ownership was allowed. They were providing these scripts to local stations at least 10 years ago, but then it stopped for awhile so far as I know.

Now that I think about it, back then they were just running a taped editorial on all their stations from one guy, not providing the scripts for the local talking heads to read.

CIA. Project Mockingbird.

Sinclair is just the new kid on the block. I've seen compilations of big network affiliates (ABC, CBS, etc.) all doing the same thing. They all send out ready-made news stories to their local affiliates to read.

Was posted above already but here's an embed. It was uploaded 2013.

Not just fake news, but old news! Goes back to the 1960's at least, at least with television. Newspapers are just as bad and go back even farther.

That's the 64 trillion dollar question! I am sure that none of these New anchors really knows who wrote the script, they are just actors. When an actor prepares for a role, they usually research the script and the script writer. An actor performing in "Hamlet" would want to about Shakespeare, about his life and times. But these people are just reading what is handed to them without ever asking where it came from, or at least assuming it came from the news writers that they know on the floor, which is obviously not true.

Perhaps the people who create the Emmy's need to create an award for "Best Actor in the role of a newscaster pretending to care about the truth and about the community they allegedly serve."

http://www.sacbee.com/news/nation-world/national/article208965064.html Here's another classic from CBS stating that the past first lady has passed away and she hasn't passed away at all, evidently they just want to be ready , my grandmother always told me never wait for a dead mans shoes, perhaps they should take some of that advise.

Beautifully written, Kryztian. I agree wholeheartedly!

The power of the media over the minds of the general populous is mind blowing when one thinks deeply over its implications.
