Nope. He's a crook, and his presidency is a well calculated cash grab for him and his family. I really do not think he cares much for anyone else.

New York Attorney general filed a suite against Trump and his family this morning. Happy Birthday!

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/14/nyregion/trump-foundation-lawsuit-attorney-general.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news

The New York State attorney general’s office filed a scathingly worded lawsuit on Thursday taking aim at the Donald J. Trump Foundation, accusing the charity and the Trump family of sweeping violations of campaign finance laws, self-dealing and illegal coordination with the presidential campaign.

The lawsuit, which seeks to dissolve the foundation and bar President Trump and three of his children from serving on the boards of nonprofits, was an extraordinary rebuke of a sitting president. The attorney general also sent referral letters to the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Election Commission for possible further action, adding to Mr. Trump’s extensive legal problems.

The lawsuit, filed in State Supreme Court in Manhattan, culminated a nearly two-year investigation of Mr. Trump’s charity, which became a subject of scrutiny during and after the 2016 presidential campaign. While such foundations are supposed to be devoted to charitable activities, the complaint asserts that Mr. Trump’s was often used to curry political favor or settle legal claims against his various businesses, and even spent $10,000 on a portrait of Mr. Trump that was hung at one of his golf clubs.

The $10,000 portrait was one of several examples of the foundation being used in “at least five self-dealing transactions,” according to the attorney general’s office, violating tax regulations that prohibit using nonprofit charities for private interests.

Forget who sits in the big chair, the turn around from decline is what is most important... We can wish another human being happy without taking a side can't we ??? I don't want to offend anyone, just offering a different perspective...

The new relationship with North Korea (time will tell how smoothly it will go) and the soon to be released IG report make great presents, in my opinion. :)

@Foxie

the minute I saw your started thread I knew hot coals would be reaped over your head-

the problem is NONE of us know what is really going on in the background behind the Trump presidency (or for that matter behind the Merkel chancelorship here in Germany which scares me even more- another topic);

one reads things even in the alternative media bashing or praising him or her but I just believe NONE of us knows whatsoever what is really going on in the background of any political administration (Trump, Macron, Merkel, etc.- long list)-

there is a hidden world out there controlling things that is beyond our grasp/understanding of things (or not if one does the research; like start with David Icke; but he's not the only one exposing things lurking in the background in the meantime)-

please stay well Foxie and all readers-

Larry

Why the fixation with a president (any leader) as the hero or the villain when they can do nothing without the support/ power of those in the background. It always surprising me how people attribute power to one man/woman. They are nothing but a front that the populous can tar and feather when they do fail while the real power does the same it always has. It is as if those with real power raise scapegoats in some farm system and when the populous takes one down they have one ready to take the position. Different faces, different parties, different ways to deliver a message and yet infinitesimal changes to the big picture. IMO.

The $10,000 portrait was one of several examples of the foundation being used in “at least five self-dealing transactions,” according to the attorney general’s office, violating tax regulations that prohibit using nonprofit charities for private interests.

What will come out of this is that more people will become aware of how FOUNDATIONS, along with Think Tanks, NGO's, and supra-national trade contracts are used in criminal ways.

This will shed greater light on the pay-to-play practices of the Clinton Foundation. I think there is already an investigation going on regarding The Clinton Foundation. And hopefully, it will follow on with how Soros manipulates people through his network of foundations, NGO's, and non-project groups.

If it gets that far, then people will start learning how to follow the money, and we can all start weeding out corruption.

(Thinking critically here, if there honestly were something to these charges, they would have already been used, before Trump was elected. The fact that it wasn't indicates to me that this is more smoke and mirrors for what is coming out right now. And other investigations that will come to light later on this summer and fall, for example, the Awan Brothers/Debbie Wasserman Shultz investigation, in addition to the Clinton Foundation investigation. If there is something to the allegations against Trump, it will come out in court. But, I think we'll find there isn't. He has said he' going to fight it.)

Folks... I've deleted quite a handful of posts here. Nuclear war was breaking out on the thread. :)

If anyone wants to have a copy of what they posted (which they're entirely entitled to), I'll happily send the original by PM. Not a problem.

This is just a little tricky. We do fully recognize that the forum must be a platform for (amongst MANY other things!) intelligent, well-referenced, well-articulated political debate. That's always fine.

There are already a number of threads about Trump, including one — Trump is NOT the answer (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?94907-Trump-is-NOT-the-answer) — which is exactly where Indigris can post and argue for her strong opinions, at any time, if she wants to.

This thread was, more than anything else, a very personal expression of appreciation by Foxie Loxie. She lit a candle for someone she respected and wanted to thank, and rather than respecting THAT, one or two people then drove their bulldozer right through her living room. Not really very sensitive, or okay.

I hope the several folks who got a little triggered here can understand. No disrespect is intended HERE (in this post) to anyone.

38131And a BIG Happy Birthday to an American who had it all prior to this job he undertook, did he need the money, nope, did he need the fame, nope, did he need to drag his family into all this , nope. He could have just flown around in his jet with his wife and family and hung out in the islands but instead he took a job that he donates his salary, isn't on a perpetual vacation all year, says what he means , and does what he says. He's got hostages released and not with an exchange of pallets of cash either. Just like Cardiac said, there are so many things that happen behind the scenes WE WILL NEVER HERE ABOUT. President trump has a family and kids and grandkids, were down 24,000 federal employees now from the last administration. He is about the American people, he cares what he leaves this countries shape into the next generation, he wants MS-13 out period, he has let it be known that human trafficking comes with a big penalty. He is an American President who I can finally say has some balls! You don't have to like him , but this American jumped into the snake pit of hell of what was the tipping point of this country about to take a terrible turn for the worst. And for that I am so ever grateful with have an American president who could give a rats ass about political correctness , just what's best for America and Americans. Per the words of another great American :
Hit it James.............................................

James Woods ✔ @RealJamesWoods

I've never witnessed such hatred for a man who is willing to work for free to make his beloved country a better place. It is pathological.

One guy, working for free, pummeled by subservient media stooges, and attacked by swamp rats daily.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESIDENT TRUMP!

Happy Birthday, President Trump!!!

Thank you for your courage and making strides towards PEACE.

Anyone who can dive into a swamp and get out alive has my deepest regards and respect.
I've learned a lot about what is really going on, even though I thought I learned a lot before, and that there is so much information yet to be disclosed.

Stay strong in the Light of Truth!

Congratulations on all of the Successes!!!

I am old enough to remember the beginning of the Korean War, and just to see Trump go all out to end that aberration in Asia makes my heart sing. I cannot believe how brave he is to take on such a difficult job that has the constant threat of violence hanging over him and his family. There are many wealthy people throughout history who at the end of their lives tried to make amends for past misdeeds, and become true philanthropists. I believe Trump is one of those.
Every rose bush comes with thorns. Although Trump is not perfect, he is still wonderful.

One thing is for sure, Foxie, the Donald truly is a wrecking ball. Just look at his most recent visit to Canada. 😂

Just as an aside for those professing that the trumpster is a saint working for free. Look at his commerce secretary, wilbur ross. Ross first met trump when ross was the director of bankruptcies for the investment bank ROTHSCHILD INC. During the late 80's and early 90's Ross pursuaded creditors not to foreclose on trumps' assets as he was bankrupt. After that fact sinks in, consider also that the trumpster surrounded himself in cabinet with members of the council on foreign relations and former employees of goldman sachs. I dont think you need to know much else about donald trump.

Well Justplain, if a building's foundation has become compromised and infested with roaches and rats, sometimes the wrecking ball is the best answer

I don't believe I've heard anyone refer to Trump as a saint. And all of the things you mentioned are facts that have been revealed on the Q post and/or other threads about Trump, so we are aware of them. And I have to admit, there are many things he has done as Potus which have confused or confounded me. But when I look at the Big Picture, I have begun to see and understand his method - at least I think I have.

In any case, I don't see how hating or disrespecting our President does anyone any good. If we understand energy, it would seem sending him the courage to do the right thing and thanking him when he does (as in his beginning negotiations w/NK) would be most helpful to all of us. That is not to say we shouldn't stay vigilant and examine and question what he does.

And remember: Every saint had a past and every sinner has a future.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESIDENT TRUMP. I do hope you get some rest before the next round.

If you were a narcissist billionaire who already has all the right connections and more money than he can possibly spend, wouldn't there be an easier way to calculate for an additional cash grab than to become an anti-sychophant politician, one who has pit himself against the the Powers That Be and has subjected himself (and family) to the wrath of the established order? Surely there is an easier way to gild the penthouse. Methinks the former path is not so good for business, regardless of whatever windfalls might result from the position.

Ahh... you might convince me that he's doing it for ego and legacy, which is totally plausible.... but money? That just doesn't fly

Happy Birthday Zeus!

Wow, how old are you now? 250million years maybe?? LOL, I seem to have lost count….For those of us who have eyes to see and ears to hear, we can’t thank you enough for dismantling the infrastructure of AGENDA 21! You NWO loving fascist!!

Your Purple Heart recipient brother Poseidon fought in the Korean War and I know he would be proud of your most recent accomplishments with the North Korean regime. Looking forward to your second term in office, oh I can feel the liberals scream in agony at the thought :scared:….I may just take a peek at Washington’s tenor to see what’s in store…The stars will work in your favor, but you already know this and will tread accordingly. Looking forward to seeing you once again at Atlantis II, and hey,…you still owe me wish #7.

Bravo to you and yours for your sacrifices, you are a true guardian as there is no other to fill your shoes. We are enjoying the ride from afar and wish you all the best!

NO NEED FOR APOLOGIES! :bearhug:

Each of us has his or her own "take" on things & this is what Avalon is all about.....to be able to search out the "truth" of what is really going on; whether we agree with each other or not. No need to attack each other in a personal way.

I have been impressed, from the beginning of my stay here, how the Mods try to keep things on an even keel, with a balanced approach, treating all members with respect. This is something rarely found in this day & age & I thank them! :flower:

Most of all, I thank Bill for starting this Forum & allowing people like me to learn & grow at my own pace. I'm sure many would testify to the fact that each of us has changed drastically from the person that we were when we first joined!

There are so many positively wonderful people on this Forum & I am thankful to have been allowed to try to absorb some of their writings; to learn & grow! My thanks & appreciation to ALL of you!
