Power and Prayer to Soften Typhoon Maria

Typhoon Maria is due to make landfall sometime during the next 10 hours in Taiwan. I'm in North-Eastern Taiwan, so live right in its path. A couple of times before, typhoons have threatened destruction, and ended up passing with little incident.

Do prayers and visualization work? It’s worth a try.

Im imagining the typhoon dissipating, becoming smaller and weaker. Im also imagining the newspaper headlines on Wednesday, talking positively about how Taiwan and other countries escaped safely.

I just dodged the bullet on hurricane Beryl (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J79e0iPElqM)... I feel you, Mine dissipated to nothing but 40mph winds about 80 miles away last night... Hope that trend continues for you ;)

You're the champ! It may have been what did the trick with Irma. Just as it was about to make landfall, your fan blew it a little further east and away from our coastline. :) We still got hammered, but it could have been much worse.:sun:

2 hours ago, the winds and rain were lashing ominously in my local area. I live 5 minutes walk from the sea. In the last two hours, the sun has popped out a couple of times... the winds and rain have also lessened. So who knows what power resides in the heart of humankind? I know a couple of big storms dissipated into nothing... so maybe this could happen to Maria.

There's a 24 hour difficult time starting about now... so i'll keep visualizing peace.

Mike! Im still here, in my house... taking the off day to build an app. We're not out of the woods yet, but the weather is relatively calm where I am. So this thread appears to be working hahaha.

Caution is necessary, but they've hyped up storms before and it's come to nothing.
