I just started using Egyptian Healing Rods (the shungite & sandstone kind). I would be very interested in hearing about other people's experiences using this type of healing rods. They have felt very powerful to me since the first time I picked them up. I'm getting all kinds of weird symptoms & side effects, but I think it's because it's doing something positive, ultimately. The only experiences I could find on here in a search were about other types of rods.

Hello Blue
I have been using the rods in accordance with buying Jason Quitts books after hearing him speak on a radio show. I follow the postures from the book 3 x's wk as a preamble to self relization energization exercises and 5 exercises from a book on tibatan immortality exercises. I follow this routine prior to weight training and have noticed significant increases in strength/energy levels using this sequence compared to not using the exercises/postures.
I also have a daily meditation practice using kriya yoga breathing techniques prior and use ormus/monatomic gold in my PM meditation prior to bed (this has made a major difference in deepening the meditative experience and getting their faster then before starting the ormus/MG.
To specifically answer your questions about the Egyptian rods -JQ information feels accurate - I have not any significant changes/experiences since adding them to the beginning of the routine - but I feel compelled to continue doing them.

PS what may I ask have your experiences been.

Luke,
I am experiencing all kinds of random things: throbbing in a tooth, pain in all the nerves in my arms, pain in one elbow, a lot of dizziness, sometimes nausea (but I don't vomit)...but also increased energy & less of a need to sleep. The bad symptoms don't stick around long (except for the dizziness).
Ramses the II was very often portraied with his "healing" rods, they sure knew how to use them ;)

I have a pair of that kind, they have been in storage for a few years...
The Egyptian rods combined metals, crystals and minerals, much like what is composed of orgone products today.
So the original ones had metal rods stuffed with crystals, and minerals.
Zinc rod(Moon) on left hand and Copper rod(Sun) on right hand.
The two rods create electromagnetic poles within our body electromagnetic field.
The shungite and sandstone rods obviously don't contain metal rods, and are more like what fills the rods.
So I still wonder how they work without the metal content.
I will get mine out again and see what I can find!

Olam, I don't know exactly how they work, but they do! I mean, the energy has been extremely strong since I first picked them up. I would really like to get to the bottom of which ones the Ancient Egyptians actually used. Because I've read different things. I've read that the shungite & sandstone are the authentic ones, and that the crystal & metal ones are just a modern twist to them. Others say the opposite. So, I don't know.

...Overall that does sound like a mind body soul system adjusting to energetic blockages being corrected and overall energetic upgrade... The only helpful thing I can add is my own experiences with intermittent vertigo coincided with the beginning of my being consistent with my personal spiritual practice. The intermittent vertigo lasted for 2 weeks and never returned...

Interesting thread. Does anyone know how to make these things at home?
I experimented with orgone when I was young and it definitely worked.

This lady tells us how to make DIY Egyptian healings rods. You can probably make them for 10-20 dollars: Copper in one hand, zinc in the other. Zinc rods are on ebay for about 10 dollars:

If anyone has more info about DIY rods please link it here.

Whatever you do, don't do Jason Quitts' exercises with them before bed. I was stuck awake all night!

I think that's the thread that is talking about the crystal rods (I'm not using those). Unfortunately, these Egyptian Postures of Power also put my back out pretty badly. Very disappointing. I can still use the rods, though.
