your right but i did in my home sitting on the couch and cleared my mind i thuoght of love and purity and asked for a sign it might not happen right away it seemed to take a half hour and i was not thinking about it anymore and i walked out side it was night time and the stars were all over the sky and a star i was drawn to would get brighter then dimm then brighter then dimm again and again, it let me know they heard me i mean they didnt show up face to face but i knew i made contact and i felt a inner happiness all over its hard to expain it .

A few months ago, I tried and acheived actual contact in my bedroom 2 times at night. At the time I was so excited and delighted by what happened, but now I know I was deceived. I now know that when you ask for contact, you better have real good protection and know what you are doing because we are dealing with all kinds of "entities" and they are not all good.
What I did was at the time when I got to bed, I would ask for contact, mentioning I was ready for that and made a point of mentioning that all entities that were not 100% love and were not there to help me out were absolutley not welcome.
I did that every night for maybe 2 months.....
Then one night it happened, on a new moon, very powerful event for me in the middle of the night.
The problem was that I was fooled in thinking "they" (2 of them) were there to help me out. I think everything is back to normal now, but sometimes I wonder if they still have some sort of control on me.
The second event was clearly not positive, I heard myself scream in horror, but it seems they removed my conscious visual memory of that. In other words I know what happened even if I can't remember the visuals.
Honestly, right now i put all that aside as I have no means of knowing if the contacts are honest or not. A bit like channelers who think they are dealing with Christ like entities only to realize years later that it was total negative control.

Wonderful points - in the end I feel its so much more helpful towards this type of experience to offer advice on how to ground and familiarize oneself, rather than on how to protect oneself.

My first attempts were a mixture of what Bright and Olam speak of. I practiced how to ground myself, to become open with trust, radiating gratitude and unconditional love while connecting to the elements I was already closely familiar with (you just KNOW which these are, as they feel just like a loving/trusting family member+more) -- but I was still encountering some difficultly with the mind, as engaging in something new and different raised the very famous UNKNOWN in me, and what's commonly found in the unknown? Fear!

I've discovered through practice that you can send out all the love and gratitude you want, but if you go into something with fear and uncertainty you will attract that very same type of energy towards you. If you go into something with mindfulness (as mentioned by Bright), then nothing can touch you. You will be clear about what you want, that is what you will get. Ask and you shall receive!

Today, I make my intent very clear - to connect with those who abide by the law of one and who are in service to all (maybe this will help some of you). The unknown still exists for me, but I have learned to 'relax' that part of me so it no longer converts into fear, as its now an awareness, and experienced as total excitement.

Dear Olam,
I'm sorry that your first encounter was horrible. Even though I've had good encounters, every once in awhile I experience awful ones where I'm in extreme pain for days.

The thing people don't realize is that once contact is made, it'll keep on happening....You're the human they want to see what makes you tick. From here on in, meditate daily to get into a peaceful, loving state of mind. Make your intentions known that you want ONLY to be contacted by loving beings. Do whatever you can to raise your vibes because you attract what you are....

Yes Maia I understand what you mean. My experiences were before my ayahuasca healing, so yes I was myself a bit wicked at the time....!
For now I have put this aside as all my time is devoted to keep the heeling going with significant changes in my life.
Maybe at some point I will try again with a different perspective and expectations.

I'd like to see a UFO but I don't want contact,is that possible? cant I just see them as they are cruising pass without calling them? don't think my heart could take seeing some greys. Reading about the mutilations and seeing that poor guy has put me off and I'm not up to finding out if they are like us humans(good and bad) feels like I would be jumping out of the pot onto the fire.

All you need to do to see a ufo is take the time on cleIar nights, (if you can get away from city lights), and skky watch. For hours. To make contact, in the beginning I was talking to my higher power, not realizing that others up there heard me and gave me a show I will not forget. Now that I am regularly skywatching, at first I ask if any of my time traveling friends are "in the neighborhood". I tell my name, That I am from earth and my general geographic location. They are used to me my now. But I always, show gratitude. I tell them how much I love the planet, the grass,trees,animals,birds, dirt ,air etc. I always state that it is not my planet, but here for everyone to share, and they are welcome anytime to land in my back yard. I ask them to flash their light to say hello. As they pass over they usually flash bright dim bright dim repeatedly until they are out of sight. I can always feel loving energy from them. And I send it back.

I have been doing this for more than 3 years, but never face to face encounter. (that I can recall)

That said, i have had uncertain encounterrs, that I believe are TPTB, which involved chipping/implant. I would rather not go into that as it is too stressful.
