As a boy Spacey tried to placate his father while Fowler took the brunt of their father's sadistic abuse. Their elder sister, Julie, also endured beatings at her father's hands and ran away when she was 18 years old.

In his harrowing account Fowler recalled: 'There was so much darkness in our home it was beyond belief. It was absolutely miserable.'

Fowler spoke of a rootless childhood during which their father forced his family to move 10 times - from Colorado where he was born in 1956, to New Jersey where Spacey was born three years later and finally onto Los Angeles.

Wherever they were, he and his siblings were 'trapped' he said.

Friends were not permitted in the Fowler household for fear that they would see the walls of Thomas Geoffrey Fowler's office, lined with pictures of naked men and women and pornography, according to Fowler.

Kevin was not physically abused . It was his brother who suffered that . I do not minimise the indirect harm that Kevin may have suffered , but his situation is surely not sufficient to preclude him from 'hard ' punishment because of fundamental and huge mitigating circumstances .imho .

It just happened again. I read a news story about Flea playing the national anthem as a bass solo at Kobe’s final game with the Lakers and I went nuts. Every time I’m reminded that the Red Hot Chili Peppers exist, I lose my mind. It’s been a frequent occurrence lately. They’re about to release a new record and the promo machine is gearing up.

25 years ago, when I worked at Epic, I had a f-cked up experience with the Chili Peppers. The incident was about a 3 on the 1-10 scale of sexual harassment in the music business of the 80s and 90s, and I never consciously thought it was that big a deal. I wasn’t even aware of how intensely I hated them  until a couple of months ago, when the kid that works the desk at my gym played “Can’t Stop.”

I was furious; I felt like my blood had been replaced with a million small bombs and all of them were about to explode.  I threw my weights to the floor mid-rep and pounded to the desk. Just before I screamed the only words I could come up with —  NO. MORE. CHILI. PEPPERS. — I realized I had to leave. I knew I’d be unable to restrain myself if I had to hear Anthony sing  “mop tops are happy when they feed you” or “can’t stop, addicted to the shindig, chop top, he says I’m gonna win big.”

When  I calmed down, I thought about how overblown my reaction was, and allowed for the first time that maybe I didn’t hate them simply because they suck.

I heard stories about the Chili Peppers and the way they treated women long before Anthony was convicted of sexual battery and indecent exposure in 1989 and Chad and Flea were arrested for lascivious behavior, battery and disorderly conduct in 1990. No one in the music industry really gave a sh-t.  As their legal issues made headlines, they left EMI, and every label, including Epic, wanted to sign them. I was horrified.

I initially refused to even go to a meeting with the band. The  A&R guy was a friend, though, and after an hour of talking about it, I reluctantly agreed to attend.  At the meeting, I did a credible impression of a person who didn’t think the Chili Peppers were complete assholes; I talked enthusiastically about strategy, artist development and press campaigns, and I presented ideas on further establishing their image.  None of them involved wearing socks on their dicks.

After the meeting, I took two of the Chili Peppers to the storage room, where we kept the box sets and CDs, to get the standard sign-with-us swag.  As we looked in a cabinet, they pressed up against me and told me about all of the ways we could make a super sexy sandwich.

At first I thought they were joking. When I realized they weren’t, I ran from the storage room to my office, where I closed my door, sat down at my desk, and cried. I was humiliated and weirdly ashamed, and embarrassed that I was humiliated and weirdly ashamed.  I thought I was a badass. Being a victim didn’t fit my self-perception.

When the Chili Peppers’ then-manager knocked on my door a few minutes later, I stopped crying and let him in. He offered an apology that sounded memorized; it was one he’d obviously offered many times before.

F-ck the Red Hot Chili Peppers and  the misogynistic culture of the music industry that kept me from speaking up in 1991.  I wish I had.

A couple of friends sent me your article because they know my story about what happened between me and the RHCP when I was 13. Let me preface the story by saying I was a 13-looking 13 – not a Jodi in TAXI DRIVER 13. The RHCP were opening for my Dad’s band. This was at the dawn of their “illustrious” career. I walked into one of the lounge areas backstage, looking for my parents. Flea saw me and shouted out “Are you the girl who’s here to give all of us head?” I swiveled and exited. I guess someone not in the band witnessed what happened because word got back to my dad who – not surprisingly – flipped out. In all my years of hanging out backstage, going to shows, meeting bands, musicians, the RHCP are the ONLY ones who were creeps. I had lunch with a soused Motley Cru and they were Prince Charmings compared to those Pepper knuckleheads. Really sleazy, nasty, and not to mention – EW – to say that to a kid. Sorry for the TMI – but I hadn’t even had my period at that point. I was a flat-chested girl with a headband in my hair. Being young and dumb doesn’t excuse their antics. Like you, I have never been able to listen to their music without thinking about my brief encounter.

I have a harder time believing that Anthony’s become less reprehensible, although I’m basing my opinion only on his habit of dating women in their (very early) 20s. In his 2005 autobiography Scar Tissue, Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers bragged about committing statutory rape with no repercussions. Recently, when allegations of misconduct were made against Brand New’s Jesse Lacey, Real Estate’s Matt Mondanile, and singer-songwriter Alex Calder, the men saw their respective careers ended within hours. Concerts were canceled, their music disappeared from streaming platforms, and years of critical and commercial achievement were essentially vacated — in the end, all that mattered were their misdeeds.

The true story of how Oprah Winfrey helped promote a mass rapist who ran a child slave farm

Back in 2010, talk show guru Oprah Winfrey dedicated an entire episode of her show to a self-professing “faith healer” with whom she claims she had a “blissful” encounter. But as we recently reported, this “faith healer” has since been exposed as a serial rapist who had actually been operating a massive child “sex slave farm” and “birth factory” behind his religious facade.

At the time, Oprah was convinced that Joao Teixeira de Faria, more popularly known as “John of God,” was the real deal. She contends that she almost fainted upon first meeting him, as his presence was apparently too much for her to handle, causing her to feel “an overwhelming sense of peace.”

Entitled, “Leap of Faith: Meet John of God,” this particular episode of Oprah’s show is said to have generated interest in John of God. Because of Oprah, in other words, tens of millions of people who had previously never heard of John of God were quickly introduced to the many “amazing miracles” of this “faith healer,” which include tales of him healing a woman of cancer simply by slicing into her breast without anesthesia and removing a tumor.

John of God is also said to have healed many other people simply by touching them and saying a succinct prayer, which would seem to make him a modern-day miracle worker, of sorts, with supernatural healing powers – or so his followers were led to believe.

Fast-forward to 2019 and hundreds of women have come forward with claims that John of God raped them. The “faith healer” is also being accused of recruiting young girls to his many “child slave farms,” where they were repeatedly impregnated as part of a “birth factory,” before eventually being killed off and discarded.

One of these women, Zahira Lieneke Mous of Holland, reportedly told The New York Times that she first heard about John of God “from a friend and had seen Oprah Winfrey’s documentary.” A victim of previous sexual assault, Mous confided in John of God, believing him to a righteous and spiritual man – only to learn the hard way that he, too, is a sexual predator.

“I really hope I can help other women out of this shadow, because we do not need to feel ashamed,” Mous told the hosts of TV Globo, a Brazilian media network. “He has to feel ashamed, and all the people who protect him so he can continue to do what he does.”

But Mous’ horrific experience is just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks to Oprah’s promotion of John of God – Oprah also aggressively promoted Barack Obama as a type of “messiah,” by the way – he allegedly went on to commit sexual assault, rape, and worse against hundreds of other women and children, using his perceived status as a “man of God” to lure his victims into his clutches.

According to Brazilian prosecutors, more than 200 women have come forward to accuse John of God of sexual improprieties against them – including his own daughter, Dalva Teixeira, who says her father repeatedly abused and raped her between the ages of 10 and 14. He only stopped, she claims, after she became pregnant by one of his employees, which resulted in John of God beating her so badly that she miscarried.

Another woman, Sabrina Bittencourt – who, since the writing of our last article and this one, was reported to have “committed suicide while on the run and “living under protection” in Lebanon – told officials that John of God had been running a sex slave operation in which newborn babies were being sold for upwards of $51,000 each to clients in the United States, Europe, and Australia.

Bittencourt claimed that John of God offered poor girls between the ages of 14 and 18 the “opportunity” to go live on various mineral mines and farms he owned throughout the Brazilian states of Goias and Minas Gerais. After their arrival, these girls were turned into sex slaves, forced to get pregnant, and their babies sold off for cash “to the highest bidder.”

“In exchange for food, they were impregnated and their babies sold on the black market,” Bittencourt stated before her mysterious death. “Hundreds of girls were enslaved over years, living on farms in Goias, and served as wombs to get pregnant, for their babies to be sold. These girls were murdered after 10 years of giving birth. We have got a number of testimonies.”

It’s the type of horror story that may never have become a reality were it not for the ignorant promotion of this “monster,” as his daughter called him, by the naive and spiritually gullible Oprah Winfrey – who, in response to the unfolding of this case, could only offer “empathy” for the women “now coming forward and I hope justice is served.”

Musician R Kelly has been indicted on ten felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four alleged victims, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx said Friday.

He is scheduled to appear in court February 22 for a bail hearing. Arraignment is set for March 8. A warrant has been issued for Kelly's arrest. If convicted, he faces a maximum of seven years in prison for each count. He has denied the accusations.

I got red pilled in 2013 and I've already gone through all of the horrific, shocking material and assimilated it, though I cannot dwell on it. I have to dwell on being a positive being and being aware this stuff is true. Once I flipped reality, it was all over now, Baby Blue and goodbye to what I thought was real life.

I stay grounded and get up every day with a positive attitude. I have faith that I was shown these things for a reason. Maybe to stand with courage and not have fear.

"Hundreds of leaked text messages between Kevin Tsujihara, actress Charlotte Kirk and partners Brett Ratner and James Packer show the powerful executive, under pressure, said repeatedly he would push for auditions as accusations of "extortion" and a proposed settlement agreement followed. At 12:10 a.m. on Sept. 27, 2013, Australian billionaire James Packer texted a 21-year-old British actress named Charlotte Kirk.

Kirk had been laboring to establish herself in Hollywood with limited success, but now Packer, who was a partner with director Brett Ratner in the film production/finance company RatPac Entertainment, was saying she was about to catch a major break.

"I have the opportunity of a lifetime for u," Packer wrote in a text message reviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. "Come to [the Hotel] Bel air now. U will never be able to pay me." He promised an introduction to "the most important man u can meet." Kirk quickly agreed to the rendezvous.

Packer did not identify the man by name, but based on hundreds of texts, emails and a draft settlement agreement obtained and reviewed by the Hollywood Reporter, the late-night introduction was to Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara. That communication and subsequent encounters between Kirk and Tsujihara drew the powerful studio chief into what Kirk repeatedly referred to as a sexual relationship. And from there the relationship devolved into a protracted and increasingly desperate struggle among Tsujihara, Ratner and Packer to manage Kirk’s urgent demands to be cast in movies and TV series. At one point, Ratner accused Kirk of attempted "extortion."

I'm back. I'm getting ready to dive into the article and can't wait. But, New Orleans is riddled with esoteric symbolism. I saw all of it.

I also thought there was something to the "Rex" house burning a few days before Mardi Gras but didn't delve into it.

Complete with symbols of a salamandar, a shield with Titan under a Crown, a Phoenix like bird, a lion, a seven pointed star with each point having the symbol of the seven major planets with a sun in the middle. It just goes on and on.

Orpheus' from the same year had as their theme "The Enchanted World". I won't go into all the symbolism from that year, but they show a trojan horse and all manner of pagan and alchemical symbols and words.

My first guess was Kate Moss. Her daughter is Lila Grace. Kate has been modeling since she was 14, which means she wasn't in school, and was a barmaid before that, in her family's bar. She comes from a rough area.

Kate Moss is a high-school dropout and advised her sister to do the same. It is possible she never got into acting, like R Kelly, because of an inability to read a script. Her career seems to be doing okay. Moss lives in Great Britain; I don't know where her daughter goes to school.

Argento apparently never graduated high school, but she's been in a lot of movies, and speaks three languages. Her teenage daughter, however, does go to school in Switzerland, and her career did fall apart. She's kind of in limbo now.

The question is, why was the search for a strong swimming billionaire called off so quickly? What sheik's grandson wanted to date the teenage daughter? Who is the Sheik? And what is he doing in New Orleans with the former head of a major central intelligence agency?

It is so difficult for this American to keep these names straight, and I try. Plus, if I think about it too hard, my head hurts.

Weeks after an explosive documentary detailing shocking allegations of child abuse by the late Michael Jackson made instant headlines, holes have appeared in the narrative of the abusers — but the US media has gone silent.
The four-hour-long ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary by filmmaker Dan Reed offered detailed accounts of sexual abuse and garnered massive amounts of media attention when it aired across the US and UK in March.

Jackson's two accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, instantly became part of the #MeToo generation and few journalists questioned their stories or probed any further.

But in late March, Jackson biographer Mike Smallcombe raised concerns over a key date in the documentary. While Safechuck alleged he was abused in the train station at Jackson’s Neverland, it turns out that construction of the train station didn’t begin until the end of 1993, and it did not open until 1994 — two years after Safechuck said the abuse ended at age 14.

Smallcombe even tweeted images of construction permits for the train station on Twitter to prove his case. Responding to Smallcombe’s unearthed documents, director Reed appeared to admit that the dates in his documentary were wrong, before quickly backtracking and insisting that there was “no clash of dates.”

One month after the documentary produced a major media storm, there seems to be little interest from the US media in the new information — or Reed’s response to allegations that Safechuck could be lying.

Other holes have been picked in the narrative, too, including one involving Safechuck’s mother, who claimed to have celebrated Jackson’s death four years before her son said he realized he had been abused.

A string of other details which seemingly don’t add up were compiled by Mediate reporter John Ziegler, who has questioned why the new information has not “gained any traction” in the US, despite being picked up by at least three major outlets in the UK. The Daily Mail, the Sun and the Mirror, along with multiple smaller outlets, have all written about Smallcombe’s concerns over the documentary.

Media in Australia and Canada have also reported on the documentary’s discrepancies, but remarkably little interest has been shown by major US outlets.

Why? Ziegler suspects the lack of media interest could be down to the “radically altered rules” for how allegations of abuse are evaluated in the #MeToo era.

Thought I might post something a little different; about the film Unplanned. Hopefully nobody minds.

Part of what prompted me was that one character in the film is played by Robia Scott. Before becoming a Christian speaker and coach Robia had been all too familiar with show business, having performed with Prince as one half of the Diamond and Pearl duo and having had a role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I find it interesting, on occasion, when someone in the entertainment industry seems to choose a different route in life; seeking to connect more closely with God, rather than mesh themselves deeper in the Hollywood undergrowth.

Unplanned is based on the memoir by Abby Johnson, and follows the life of Johnson as a clinic director for Planned Parenthood and her subsequent conversion to anti-abortion activism.

Abortion is an enormously difficult topic, and I'm not posting this to make an oversimplified statement about it. What was interesting to me about the film, and about the information in an interview of Abby's that I watched, was more the way Planned Parenthood reportedly works as a business in Abby's experience; its shady practices, and the questions that raises about its drives and motivations.

At the Red Carpet clip linked below, one attendee says at 2:36 :

“I think this film has a special power to actually show what abortion is, in a way that other films haven't, and then also to give an opportunity for hope – to be relatable, so that it's not down on people who've had abortions, or gone through abortion, or been in support of abortion. But it's an opportunity to think of it another way, and to be open to hope and change, and healing ultimately.”

Another at 3:32 claims :

“Hollywood does not want this film to be made because there's a linkage between all liberal thought, and even liberal theology, and Planned Parenthood. This should shut Planned Parenthood down.”

Dr Phil - My friend has worked on Dr. Phil for years. He has a no eye contact rule and is apparently one of the nastiest, most self-absorbed people in the industry.

Bruce Willis - is a f-cking annoying piece of sh-t. He makes demands, he causes additional problems, the moment when he decided to threaten to walk out after Kevin Smith did some rewrites for Live Free or Die Hard. I already knew; yeah you’re a piece of sh-t.

Faye Dunaway - and I cannot stress this enough... FAYE DUNAWAY. I've had dealings with her personally and can vouch for her entitledness, and nastiness, but my friend who works on movie sets has horror stories.

Extremely demanding, and also picky. She brings her scales with her everywhere and will make anyone catering weigh it up in front of her. She has a no eye contact rule, which must never be disobeyed, and she also yells and screams when things do not go her way.

Michael Cera (Arrested Development actor) - I watched so many young musicians come up to him during the Sex Bob-omb tour come up to him to talk about music or gush about how he inspired them, only for him to either brush them off completely, ask them why they’re talking to him, or just have security come take them away. Total dick.

Adele - My moms friend did security for concerts, she always told us about how nice the bands were BUT Adele was a nightmare, her fans started to line up before her concert outside of the Stadium and Adele REFUSED to do sound check because she didn’t want anyone to hear her for “FREE” and you couldn’t look at her when she spoke to you.

Chris F-cking O'Donnell - Hands down the worst. This asshole is literally the worst I have seen in the industry. This extremely minor television actor and FORMER model (see: his fatass neck) thinks he is not only talented but divine and will wonder aloud why "lessers" are doing something near him. Chris once complained to production that a slightly overweight security guard was assigned to an area near Catering. F-ck chris o'donnell.

Chris, if you're reading this, you are a f-cking polesmoker and your neck is fat. Everyone laughs at you when you are not around, especially production.

Helen Hunt - More like Helen ****.

Here are some people who I found to be not good or bad, just strange:

1- Gerard Butler is about 18 years old in his head.
2- Christopher Walken is literally just as insane as you might think.
3- Joaquin Phoenix is like that guy who wants to be your friend but is impaired by several layers of mental illness.
4- Samuel L Jackson is very into porn. No, you don't get it, VERY big fan of porn.
5- Tom Cruise is a f-cking whacko. No surprise here. If Tom decided to talk to you, he would get inappropriately interested in minutia about you. I mentioned I like 3 creamers in my coffee and he thought it was just about the most interesting f-cking thing he had ever heard in his life.

@ Flash - a thousand apologies would not be enough. Sometimes we think we are just stating the obvious or handing out a bit of friendly advice to discover that we have accidentally caused real damage. So very sorry about your thyroid. I have Hashimotos and have been in the midst of a flare the last ten days. Not fun. In fact, terrifying- one cannot tell whether it’s the rising TSH level or a real problem with the heart until you self medicate and increase the T3 level to confirm.

Please be sure to check that your TSH levels are right before any treatment for cancer.

I admire your ability to refrain from the millions of devastating and graphic images that could be posted, but which would possibly be inappropriate for the general tenor present in this very humane and heart based forum. The truth comes across even without showing the explicit, real world details. (I would not be able to be so kind, in light of what I've seen.)

It is also quite the reality, considering that this thread is called "Hollyweird Great Awakening" to consider the power of truth and inspirational filmmaking in those projects called to Awaken the viewer. I was thinking about why that same insider in the film industry did not also talk about the down to earth actors who populate many of the roles in film, like some few who have told me that our work is as important as theirs, a gratitude not lost on me or my crews.

Equally as applicable in this thread is the value of those positive storylines chronicling the efforts of those who have fought for peace, with great sacrifice to their person, as well as those independent efforts made with a smooth road to presentation, remembering that telling truth doesn't require us to struggle. I do see the endless possibilities of many minor films, with major impact, being made by so many more people, now that the process of filming is cheaper and available to a much wider populace.

Write, inspire, film and get your insights out there, no matter who you are.

There are crafts in film, like mine for the short time I've been in the industry, that rarely see the "talent", the actors, and then there are those craftspeople stuck in the process with actually being around for the endless hours that filming takes. I marvel at how some of them remain the people they want to be in the process of serving the storyline. It, to me at the least, is inhumane to work and to live that way. Though we both work about the same amount of long hours, at least we stay physically active almost all of our time at work.

Some in all of these crafts, above the line (actors, producers, directors,etc.) and those who ARE the line that holds up everyone above, seek normalcy while living in a very abnormal profession, and then some are lost in the illusion of their own self-importance. There is a difference worth noting and that difference should be understood.

I'm content to know a lot about the storyline and at the same time very little about actors, etc. since my skills are in building and taking care of those who build. Builders rarely have time to do anything but build, build on time/or before and build safely for all of those on set, from before the beginning, for the duration and after the end.

Conversely, the main actors and even "extras"/background actors have to repeat scenes accurately, sometimes ad nauseum/over and over again, and it is highly impractical to interrupt them with even short conversations when they have to maintain not only the lines to be delivered, but the emotional content of a scene. How many people can do that, especially when a director, yourself or another principal actor inserts another way to then deliver and interact with another nuance or direction in that same storyline?


Yes, the war machine owns Hollywood and the msm that sells it's lies, but Hollywood is now less and less of a player in film making.

YES there are many more ways to make a positive impact in society beyond the machinations of the darkness that has no answer to the light you carry in your own lives. Put it in film.

Still, we take care of the warriors who, without full disclosure given to them, fight for causes and countries that knowingly use them for their evil purposes.

In the meantime, they end up living and dying for each other alone, far beyond the endless lies of the corporate c*ntess of war and her masonic officer's clubs, locked in the grip of the trauma, the never-ending vacs and the drugs they are given to keep them up and take them down long enough to breathe. Put the pen to those true stories if you care.

Since when, since what ancient times, were warriors not sold to do the deeds of the darkness that removes them from their humanity?

When non combatant inhabitants of the viral countries that choose war for controlling others, living far from the theaters/the stages of war, are forced to live with the consequences of war upon all involved.......maybe then wars won't be so easily accepted by them and sold to them as entertainment.

Until then, why don't many of us make a positive and insightful difference by writing our own stories and make them into film worthy of our being here.
