The reason the founding fathers didn't instate term limits is because the necessity of having to run for re-election was thought to moderate the excesses of corrupt congressmen.

If term limits are instated, we'll have to find a new way to apply leverage and pressure to our congressmen in their last terms, or we will effectively have "lame duck" congressmen doing whatever they want regardless of what their constituents want.

Right, so what I'm pointing out is that this solution may result in the same exact problem unless we go one step further to apply leverage to these guys somehow. Maybe the option of recalls at any time for any of them.

Hi... the Petition still needs help. 145 signatures are required to get into general public view and to be visible without the link provided by the OP.
