I am no expert on wether this is a fake , photo shopped , hoax or genuine but I have seen something like or very like this from my garden at night with my wife , we live in rural south west france , no light polution , it started as a shiny stationary object which we watched for about 10 to 15 minutes as it was brighter and in the wrong place lowish towards the horizon and then it came towards us directly overhead and went from virtualy one horizon to the other very quickly , silently and and gave me the impression of great grace and peacefulness .

Of all the things I have ever seen in the skies around the world, this is the only event that in my opinion could have been a genuine ufo or what ever the current trendy phrase may be, this was a recent event (last 4 months) and we both agree we saw the same thing

Very compelling indeed. I've saw a very similar object to this in 1990, at a party (in the garden) at a friend's house. A small, silver, spherical object passed over the house a few hundred feet up, multiple witnesses present. It disappeared in the distance over some trees. Before it vanished, we clearly saw a second, smaller object drop from it, as if jettisoned. It kind of 'fizzled out' before hitting the ground. To this day I have no idea what it was. If a UFO, it was too small to be 'manned', more likely it was a kind of probe.

But this is good piece of footage. Steady camera work, crisp quality, and with environmental perspective. Multiple other objects moving in the scene too, including a helicopter. No obvious signs of fakery - it really does appear that what we see is what was there, in the sky.

I loved the honesty of the kid's comments in the video "it looks like a laser coming out of the bottom" and of course, the ubiquitous helicopter circling.

I'm big on UFOs but this is from a year ago and I'm going with this explanation.
