Many of you here on the forum conduct yourselves in an exemplary fashion, as mature, empathic and genuinely concerned souls who have everyone's overall welfare in mind. And I thank you for that.
This is probably why you are here and like being here.
There is another among our number who reflects absolute genuine love, kindness, empathy, and goes to great personal lengths to support members individually, without prejudice, often during personal moments of crisis for them or who may seek a kind word or moral support from someone they trust.
This person is named Bill Ryan
Read that again.
Bill Ryan, without whom we wouldn't even have this community.
You will all understandably - although you ought to be able to intuit this anyway - have absolutely no idea of how much love, deep care, and genuine attention goes into the running of the forum behind the scenes and the mutual love and respect that all of us on the moderator team have, not only for Bill, for each other, but for you all too..
Nobody embodies that more humanely than Bill.
I've often said this in moderator chats:
"If only they [the membership]really knew!"
If you didn't know already, you do now.
No-one here gives as much as Bill does, and has, to this most noble of enterprises: Project Avalon.
Trust me, I know.
I'm in the thick of this every-day on the team.
I'm stating this as well from an entirely personal very well informed and experienced standpoint but know that colleagues here on the team, and a great many of you out there, would no doubt agree.
And I want to absolutely and without bias reaffirm the following, as they are facts:
● NO ONE IS BEING SILENCED
● NO ONE IS BEING CENSORED
It behooves you as individual sentient intelligent and sensitive souls to conduct yourselves with each other - always - with the greatest respect even if you don't always agree.
It's HOW you do this that matters, hugely.
I would personally ask any of you to sometimes in more agitated moments – we’ve all had those - just to take a breath, THINK, reassess and self moderate nearly all the time. If you can't, or won't, or simply refuse to do that, then maybe this isn't the right home for you.
I think this IS the right home for you, so, please, consider and also be aware and mindful of the ENORMOUS amount of selfless giving that Bill puts into this project, for the benefit of ALL, all the time.
