Please don't actually post books here... we're just answering john.d (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?86-john.d)'s question about where to find them. The place to post links to individual books is Interesting Free Books in PDF (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?9462-Interesting-Free-Books-in-PDF).

Just so you know, PDFs tend to be hard to read on Kindle. Assuming the formatting works out, then you have the issue of miniscule print that cannot be adjusted as with a standard Kindle book. It's also pretty tricky to get them on your Kindle in the first place. If you need help with that PM me and I can help out.

This amazon article helped me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/email
Quote: "PDFs can be converted to the Kindle format so you can take advantage of functionality such as variable font size, annotations, and Whispersync.
To have a document converted to Kindle format (.azw), the subject line should be "convert" when e-mailing a personal document to your Send-to-Kindle address."
Works [quite] well.

It worked! I uploaded:Michel Desmarquet - Thiaoouba Prophecy.pdf (http://www.bioresonant.com/freebooks.html) (“Abduction to the 9th Planet,” 1993). Unlike my method, now I can change the font size in the Kindle. Usually I adjust the document font and size, convert it to a pdf and upload. Or in the case of a free pdf, I’d copy and paste it into a document, reformat to fit my Kindle edition and then convert it back into a pdf.
Thank, meeradas. http://avalonlibrary.net/paula/smilies/come-in-hug.gif

Greetings John, et al...
Bill has described this book as a hoax...however I have to tell you...I've read it several times...and the information given by "Airl"...seems as believable as any other history of life given to us ...can't say if it ever happened or not...don't know if Bill feels it is completely fabricated...and all information is invalid...or if the book was a fabrication...but the information given was "leaked truth" wrapped in a fabrication. What I do know is that it made more sense to me than much of what I've read elsewhere...maybe you might read it and give your thoughts ...Blessings. end of line.

Holy CRAP you have made my year. There were like 300 books I put on the back burner because they're unreadable on my Kindle. Thanks so much!

As things become more litigious and any copywrite infringements leads to "issues"........it would be my suggestion that the "Avalon library" be disconnected from the main site and put under separate admin (curation)...........alt sites are being torn down for the most minor of infractions.............but the library is massively useful but not to the point that it can/should compromise the main site.
I am not generally one to post unwelcome opinions..........but considering 2018 and the what we have observed.
.......may want to think this over a bit. Information and the work of authors/producers is not "free"..........which conflicts with the idea that all information should be "Free"........it is a conflict that can shut us down....if an issue were raised and it is not in the locus of control of admins.......or any member.
Get the library off the main site...stop asking people to download from paywalls and post links........do that elsewhere.
Remove links to illegal torrents.
it is a matter of self preservation for the community........but there are ways to work around the issues.
I would be devastated if PA were locked out from the internet due to a minor violation.........but there are those who will employ ANY option to stop truth.

For new eBooks I always wait until there's a free trail on Amazon... right now I'm in the middle of my KindleUnlimited and have downloaded 48 ebooks. You'll need kindle for pc.
Once borrowed, use Calibre (https://calibre-ebook.com/) to "DeDRM (https://github.com/apprenticeharper/DeDRM_tools/releases/tag/v6.6.1)" by adding books to Calibre from kindle's download folder. Super easy.
As stated above b-ok.org (https://b-ok.org/) is also a great resource to download ebooks, they've improved the site to show book covers now.
And of course The Internet Archive (https://archive.org/) is also good, a bit cumbersome but you can find good stuff. (remember to select "Search text contents").
Also, Mysteries Books (https://webz8576.wixsite.com/mysteriesbooks) my personal collection of first editions with links to ebooks.
Hope this helps
