View Full Version : The Breatharian Path - The Science, my own Journey, and the Ramifications for any Human

Good day to all Project Avalon members. Today I would like to share my view on a global phenomenon, and then share my own experiences. The topic will be breatharianism, apparently the next step in mankind's evolution. (Which for years I had been expecting to be telepathic communication, which does not seem to be happening.) For those new to this, breatharianism is loosely the permanent abstinence from consuming food, rarely also liquids. Today an estimated 50.000 breatharians follow this "diet" worldwide. I would like to share all the studies with all the evidence that we have so far supporting the possibility of the existence of this lifestyle, incorporated into the story of my learning about this lifestyle, trying it, and my experiences.
Before all that, a quick summary of the mechanism: Prana, an all-permeating energy field, can be accessed by consciousness (and by that alone), captured and stored in the water in each cell, and converted into particles, which will then form what the body needs. How? One way to visualise it is by learning about virtual particles. Virtual particles are science fact, they are everywhere. As an example, how does one magnet that there's another one nearby it's supposed to pull or repel? The answer from Wiki: "The magnetic field between magnetic dipoles. It is caused by the exchange of virtual photons."
Hawking used these in creating his theory which later became known famous as Hawking radiation, which you can read about on wiki as well, I will just quote one sentence from the article:
"This radiation does not come directly from the black hole itself, but rather is a result of virtual particles being "boosted" by the black hole's gravitation into becoming real particles."
Keep in mind though that while HR is a THEORY virtual particles are not. Well, ultimately everything is, Leonard Susskind maintains the world is a hologram.
How exactly the energy absorption and conversion happens is explained by quantum biology, which I have no way of describing here, I hadn't even heard of all that before I started my research into breatharianism.
I only outlined the above to point out that, contrary to popular belief, breatharians, aka pranarians, DO use sustenance. It is simply a matter of the source being different. And the digestive system is simply vestigial organs, the remnants from our previous evolutionary stages that we no longer need, like body hair, the appendix, male nipples, wisdom teeth, tail bones, or the wings of flightless birds.
Without further ado I shall now proceed with my story.
I used to be a hardcore sceptic of breatharianism. I used to use all the arguments you can think of, including the need for energy, minerals, nutrients, the existence of the digestive system all the way up to your teeth, etc. However rather than being an armchair sceptic like most people sadly are I took the claims of those some 50 thousand people seriously enough to do some actual research, keeping always to facts and what science says, with initially surprising results, and ultimately life-changing consequences that are so far-reaching that it is a challenge just to put them into words, but it has gone so far that I have come to feel that it is my moral responsibility to try and articulate my story for the edification of my fellow-humans, based solely on the earth-and-sky-shattering implications of what this all is. So here is my attempts at sharing. While I could sum it all up in a long sentence there would be so much lost that there would be almost no point. In fact you would simply read it and put it down to trolling so it would be counter-productive to be brief for sake of reaching the majority with their short attention span. If you are seeking genuine understanding you will keep reading with an open mind.
Let's keep it brief. So I used to be a sceptic, however I decided that I will look into this with an open mind, but always keeping the scientific attitude. First I examined what the lifestyle of these so-called breatharians includes so I know what I should investigate exactly. When I had that all pinned down I was ready to understand the underlying mechanism. The first thing I discovered that one of the main "argument" against breatharians was fundamentally wrong. I am talking about the postulate that breatharians live without sustenance. Utterly wrong. You need to bear with me here. I quickly learned about the all-permeating energy they call Chi and Prana in the east that I used to consider a myth together with the so-called energy centres (or chakras) these energies are associated with in eastern philosophies:
https://scialert.net/fulltext/?doi=ajar.2017.33.35
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10794112
I believe this is just the abstract, you can find a more complete description here:
https://healingtaousa.com/topic/seeds-induced-to-germinate-rapidly-by-mentally-projected-qi-energy%C2%92-are-apparently-genetically-altered/
The next question was, how does this energy "become" nutrients. The revelations arrived on two fronts. Firstly we don't really need all the "nutrients" we are told we need. Inuit people have been living above the arctic circle on the ice in igloos for thousands of years and they mostly ever ate seal and a little fish. Fish takes a long time to catch and does not give a lot of meat. In any case they never consumed any fruits or vegetables in their entire lives. And they were and are among the healthiest people on the planet. Where did they get all their vitamins from? Live vitamin c? Wikipedia will try and convince you that they get it from the skin of beluga whale and it goes as far as calling it a staple, like every Eskimo family would kill whales all the time and eat it all year round, even though they had no clues about vitamins. Later when vegetarianism started becoming a new thing "scientists" were claiming that it is impossible because you need vitamins like B12 that you can only find in animal meat and therefore anyone that tries to become a vegetarian will inevitably die. Turns out, your own body can produce vitamin B12. So that's the first front. The second was that as I had been aware of one of the implications of E=mc2 being the transmutability of energy into matter and vice versa, I was still questioning myself: how does the body know what to do with the universal energy, Prana? I had to learn about the amazing innate intelligence of the human body. A whole new world opened up before me I had never been aware of, and had it not been for this journey I would still be oblivious of it. I learned a lot about quantum biology. I didn't know that was even a thing. That explained most of the mechanisms. I learned about cellular respiration. I was like WTF? Next I came across something that I had heard of somewhere before but thought was just a bunch of baloney. I am talking about the idea of human emotions affecting the crystal structure of water that it can then retain. The guy making that claim was Dr. Mararu Emoto. I never took any of that seriously until I was lead upon the following research:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11789582
In this research paper on top of finding out about the reality of water retaining human emotions I had to learn about 2 additional things: firstly, the effects this water can have on living organisms, and secondly, the seemingly impossible (at least to me, at the time) powers of meditation. Jesus Christ, if meditation can do that in ANOTHER organism, no wonder it can have an even stronger effect in one's OWN BODY, which is made of 70% water, and the majority of these breatharians not only practise and talk about meditation as part of a spiritual lifestyle, I have also seen them "bless" the water they drink, which I obviously thought was pure codswallop. Well, that research paper opened my eyes about yet another thing (or should I say yet 3 more things) I did not think possible. So I had to wonder, how many more such things could there be waiting for me (and even humanity) to discover. At this point I tried to find a logical explanation, like they say you create your own reality and I literally think all these seeming miracles into being, or simply that the possibilities in the universe, regardless of what what we currently perceive as "all the laws in nature" allow, are in reality endless and anything is possible. I must admit I did not get far with such deep philosophical mind-games, it does not seem to be my thing. So I moved on in my research, to see what else I can find that relates to and possibly explains how a breatharian lifestyle is possible.
After I had blown my own mind with all this information about Chi, and meditation, and these influencing the germination of seeds and the growth of plants, and the magic of normal water, and quantum biology, I got interested in what else meditation can do, because this whole area was something I did not know anything about and I was wondering what I had been missing out on. Initially I found some interesting info about how it can lower blood pressure, and reduce pain, and such basic but still interesting things. But then things got wild and crazy. Again. First I read about how you can "body build" by replacing workout with "thinking about working out". While this was not meditation strictly speaking, it employed visualisation and mental concentration, techniques used by transcendental meditators. So that was pretty wild stuff. Here's the link for anyone interested:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14998709
And then came the turning point. I learned about Wim Hof, and how science found evidence for the first time that a human being can 1. control his own immune system, 2. control his own autonomic nervous system (body temperature, heart rate, etc.), his endocrine system, and then they went on about the limbic system and others I was not even sure what they were. And guess what methods he used to achieve all that. That's right, meditation, with a combination of yoga and cold showers and the right mindset. This was all back in 2011:
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/04/110422090203.htm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pyo2OAKW4Y
Then 3 years later they proved that this can be done by literally ANYONE. Now that was #ed up. There is no way out of this, no explaining away:
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/05/140505155210.htm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxCGDFlH1_k
Without going into too much detail I just found out recently that they are now looking at how the human brain can do all that. Fascinating stuff to say the least, but this is all science now. You can research all this yourselves if you're interested:
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/02/180228164934.htm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YficBlvPwWQ
At this point I felt I had to put a stop to my research into the possible powers of the mind and meditation, I just felt overwhelmed and considered it a real possibility that I will end up in mental hospital or something as I felt the paradigm system I had lived in for a lifetime crumbling around me, or to be more precise, inside my head. I recall having that feeling that those lines I had heard in the matrix were actual reality in my life: where Morpheus tells Neo how he sees that he feels like Alice in Wonderland, tumbling down the rabbit hole. Except this wasn't a #ing movie. Yet I was determined to further investigate breatharianism itself as it was the original line of enquiry I had started out upon, so I simply abandoned this detour into meditation and returned to my research into breatharianism.
Right. So far I had learned how breatharians use chi, meditation, and charged water, and how these techniques can do their miracle which ultimately falls into the realm of quantum biology, which you must study to have some rudimentary understanding of the processes involved here. Okay, I had done all that. At that point I realised that as long as I keep looking I will just keep finding, which is fine up to a point, but ultimately the test of the pudding is in the eating. And although the Wim Hof method seemed like a more appealing "choice" for a new lifestyle if I were to adapt one, with all the scientific research behind it, I chose to remain faithful to my original choice. I had already become aware of Jasmuheen's so-called 21-day process. But I wanted to "know all there is to know" before I were to delve deep into an actual experiment. So I watched all the documentaries I could find:
No Way to Heaven (2008, Switzerland)
In the Beginning There Was Light (2010, Austria)
Living Off Energy We Are Energy (2015, Czech Republic)
The Light Generation (2018)
These are all available on the internet to watch for free.
I learned, among a lot of other interesting things, of the 8-day method, the 10-day method, basically I realised that whatever works for you. Anyway, I chose the 21-day method because its high reported success rate (I watched dozens of hour-long interviews with breatharians, I will not list them all here) and its more graduality.
Long story short, it did not work the first time (or at least it did not work for me, maybe wrong mindset, haven't figured it out) but second time I did a more stretched-out approach in phases of different diets, that I would approximate as vegetarian - vegan - raw vegan - fruitarian - juicing - waterian - solarian - pranarian - breatharian. Now that did the trick. It was a long process, and I had my doubts in spite of all my previous research, but I think it was ultimately this gradual approach that enabled my mind to let my body transition progressively.
While technically this marks the end of my breatharian story and it would seem that it should suffice to end the story here I must emphasise that drawing the line here would be equal to a lie, in that it would hide the truth. Everything I have written up to this point is the TECHNICAL side. It's like, follow this and this step and you get here and here. But the bigger question is this: WHERE IS HERE? That, my friends, is in itself FAR more amazing than a journey towards and including a transition to breatharianism. Again, I will be brief, so bear with me for a while longer, you'll see it's not only worth it, it's the whole point of, well, not only of this whole text, but the whole experience.
What I am talking about is the ramifications of a breatharian lifestyle, everything that is a result, either directly or indirectly of this lifestyle. I am trying to think of a format that would carry the immensity of the unfolding that follows the transition but I am left with no ideas. I will try some kind of logical sequence here I guess.
Okay. Got it. When you become breatharian there are 3 waves of ramifications.
The first: The obvious direct consequences: No more spending money on food. No more travelling to the shops. No more shopping lists, no more brainstorming of what to eat and where. No more cooking. No more washing dishes. No more need to store food, no more need to store bowls and dishes, plates and cutlery, or for that matter a dining table let alone a dining room. You have more money. You have more time. You have more space. You have more freedom. These are the obvious and immediate direct consequences.
The second: The slightly-less-obvious and slightly-less-direct consequences. No more hunger. No more upset stomach. No more indigestion. No more food-related diseases from pesticide, chemicals, GMO, E numbers, artificial additives, and so on. Basically better health. Which is further increased by consuming the afore-mentioned "blessed" water, meditation, chakra-cleansing, if you develop interest in all these and learn and practise, starting with my favourite, the Wim Hof method.
The third: All the indirect consequences. This is the biggest one, and NOTHING can prepare you for this, save reading it right here and right now. You don't find this in documentaries and you can't "work this out" in your mind in advance. And it beats everything in the previous two categories, simply because it is an endless unfolding of a NEW LIFE STORY. Let's stop for a second and sum up the previous steps.
Research. Find information. Gain knowledge. Horizons expanded. Mind blown. Personal experiment. Failure. Try again. Success. More money, time, space. Better health. Now let's see what can possibly beat all this.
Now that you have all this behind you, you are face-to-face with a new life. You can't deny it no more, you have put behind yourself an aspect of your previous life that could best be described as a limitation, or to quote The Matrix again, a prison for your mind. Something you have been depending upon, but have now gained freedom of. As an unavoidable side-effect of that will be a mind that has become free and opened up TO AN EXTENT and this mind will now look AND FIND ways of pushing this freedom beyond all limits. No, I'm not talking about, if I can live without food, can I live without drink (apparently we can) or breathing (let's not get into that conversation here). I am talking about deconstructing all the other limitations that living in a society has imposed on your mind. So now you have more money. Money is not part of nature, it is an artificial human construct. Now you have more left. How do you get rid of "the money trap" altogether? I instantly remembered the story of Mark Boyle who made headlines years ago by living without money in the UK. Now there is a new article out about him:
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/sep/15/living-without-money-what-i-learned
Except, for a breatharian, food is not an issue. While you can research ideas on how to save money, I will do a quick step-by-step that I worked out for myself. What to get rid of that costs money for all of us: food (sorted), housing (mortgage/rent), bills (gas, electricity, water, etc.). That idea got me interested in passive house design, living off the grid, minimalism, tiny houses, self sufficiency, all of which is much easier while being a breatharian because of more money you can save, more time, and less space needed in a house. My choice was to save money for a couple years and buy something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVw8RMuzFBc
Check out all the videos on that channel - you'll be amazed!
Stick a few solar panels on the roof. You have mobility. No more mortgage, no more rent. No more bills. (Electric heating, basically you don't need gas.) Most tiny houses collect rain water for drinking and cooking. Obviously at this stage you don't cook, and human beings have been drinking water from rain and streams for thousands of years before taps appeared a few decades / hundred years ago (depending where in the world you live).
What comes next is the biggest turning point yet. And this is where it gets dangerous. Not for your survival any more. For your mind. Didn't I just say this will free your mind? True, but you will have to face the devil before you become absolutely free of it. What do I mean? This is the most subtle point in the ENTIRE experience, one you can't really appreciate by reading about it even here. You have to ACTUALLY BE THERE. But let's try and entertain and savour in our imagination as best we can, futile as it may be. You have no more need for money. You have no more need for a job! You have complete physical freedom. You have your own house that moves, you have no bills, you need no food, you are free of money. You now face the biggest question of your life: What now? Now this question becomes really relevant: What do I want to do with my life? And this is no longer a career question. This is a question about who you truly are. What will you spend the rest of your life with? This is not like winning the lottery and you can just squander it all on women, booze, parties and drugs. You are a spiritually enlightened being. Otherwise you would not have made it this far, I guarantee you. Not because you must be special to make it. The above process transforms you, in the best ways possible. So what do you do? Who are you? What purpose will you choose? What will be worth your time, energy, effort, attention and devotion for the rest of your life? Travel? Maybe. Volunteering? Possibly. Help others? More likely. How? You'll have to figure that out. I am in no position to give you ideas, but you WILL be faced with this and you WILL have to figure this out for yourself, BY YOURSELF, and it WON'T be easy. But once you do, that's the first day of your real life. It's like a rebirth.
And to just finish off my own personal story, here are the latest developments in brief: I found a wonderful breatharian partner. We travelled a lot and saw the world. We met many other breatharians in workshops and we became close friends with some of them. We got really close with another couple and we all settled down together in an off-grid larger house. We do not live in "open" relationships and we don't cheat but we have our "couple" boundaries loosened up and form a small community of 4. We live near others similar to us who live off grid but are not breatharians, but more like minimalists, living simple eco-friendly lives. There is real community. There is security. We are all healthy. We are all free. As for the 4 of us, we need no jobs (but I personally volunteer in the Venus Project and occasionally in some charities, some local and some national.) We have all day every day free to choose what we want to do. We do not own or watch television or any other brainwashing machine that would aim to enslave our minds. We have free open minds, we have a lot of quality sex between us every day (girls are loving, uninhibited lovely humans with open minds and no overlap in their periods), which gets better day by day, in every way (we sometimes experiment and push some remaining boundaries further and further bit by bit), the same as all other areas of our lives, we are all on a constant path of personal development undergirded by positive thinking and the utilisation of the powers of our mind, or more accurately, positive thinking, I would call it. We help each other become better persons.
At this point it is hard to imagine how our lives can become freer and better, but if anything we all have had our own journeys with their differences as their similarities, and we are all aware and open to the infinite possibilities of surprises, having learned the infinite nature of the mysteries of the universe. And although we have no idea where we go from here, we all know deep down that things can only get better, we are untouched by poverty, wars (we live far away from the nearest town in a war-free country), and not only that, we await with excitement to see how all of this can get even better and what our active roles will be in that. Every day feels like the journey has just begun and everything that has happened before just prepared us for today, and every "today" is a fecund gateway to the inconceivable magic of tomorrow.
The End.

Oh, that must have been some "transition" eh ?
No doubt including moments of : longing, pain, unfamiliar sensations, fear, euphoria, tears etc etc
I only say this because it's our "body" which is surely our #1 Attachment in regular "material" life thus moving to a new form of "embodiment" sounds very challenging indeed !

I've been breatharian for a while now but, like almost all breatharians I do actually eat because eating is pleasurable and a huge part of our social life. But the point is I don't need to eat. Originally there was the '21 Day Method' to become a breatharian but now, thanks to Ray Maor, we have the shorter and easier 12 Day Method consisting of a fruit only detox for a few days followed by a few days water fast, followed by breathing exercises and a dry fast during which time the Prana Engine kicks in and the body accesses the 'deep water' stored at a cellular level. As a point of interest this may be where repressed traumas are stored and we have stories of people releasing these during the dry fast.
I simply felt a calling to do this for several years and somehow just knew that eating so much (but I always ate less than others) was not for me. Clearly, unless you are ready for such a drastic change it may be dangerous to try on your own but I had no problems and after the 8th day felt something change - I suddenly had a lot of energy.
There are only a very few breatharians who never eat and even fewer who never eat or drink (only possible in a humid climate). Why stop eating when as far as I am concerned the purpose of life is coffee and cake? The point is that our attitude towards food changes completely and we realise that people are literally addicted to food.
I still find it remarkable that so many people (even some friends) don't believe it's possible but being a breatharian is surely the greatest proof that we create our own reality and are programmed to believe only in left brain 'common sense'.
So, why do people die of starvation? They die because that's what they believe. Our belief system creates our reality.
But when you understand breatharianism it does cast a lot of doubt on the whole 'healthy eating' scene. Searching for the right vitamins and minerals is just another fear based exercise. Of course, this is a vibrational step up from the usual crap that people eat but we should always understand that everything is just a stage. People who have become vegan think that's the ultimate but clearly it is not! What lies beyond being a breatharian? Maybe living without a physical body...
As an edit added later I'd like to say that nobody should feel they 'should' eat or live in a certain way. After all, we are all a 'part of God' and the purpose of life is not really coffee and cake but to 'experience'. From that point of view, there may be as much value experiencing life as a fat idiot as there is as a breatharian saint.

I believe our body can acquire nourishment from many sources like sun and aroma. If we push our body down the hunger path further each time and expose it to the other sources, it will eventually learn to acquire nourishment from that source. like when you are already very hungry try sniffing some herbs or go out in the sun. I've tried breatharian on my early days on avalon when one former member "Dawn" introduce it. But I failed because my body was still so in the food for nourishment back then. Its a different story now so maybe I will give another go. especially that there was a recent incident where I felt that my stomach just shut down when I push it down the hunger path for a mere 28 hours. But its the holiday season and I was visiting families and everyone wants me to partake of their feast. So I force myself back to eating after like 40 hours and its very odd that it took my stomach about 16 hours to restart after eating back again. The key is gradual transition and to listen to the body rather than follow the 10 12 or 21 day rule. everyone is different. I have around 5 years of pushing myself down the hunger path so maybe I dont need 10 days maybe just 28 hours. thanks for posting I take it as a calling to try again.

Yes, thats why when I am home I eat all the time but when I am away working I seldom eat because I dont want to cook and do all the things that comes with cooking. And besides life is about experience, at least to me. Breatharian experience would be just another adventure and who knows what benefit I am going to get from it. I dont normally believe what are said so I normally try. New things are almost always exciting.

Hi there Roki, I was wondering about our pets on the subject. How does it work for them?

Hi again, sorry for the delay. Thank you for the wonderful replies, and I will try to answer the questions.
First, Clear Light. The transition was more simple for me, for 2 main reasons: firstly, the great graduality, meaning as I explained that the steps were each tiny compared to the previous stage, unnecessarily tiny in fact. You could skip half of them. And secondly, I had a strong calling. Otherwise I would've never tried in the first place, let alone try again after a failure.
Peterpam. No, I do not eat, anything, ever. Not for social purposes, or otherwise. For me it's like an oath to myself, or God, or to a principle. I had done things like that before, where for example I would give up all fizzy drinks on a whim, for a few years, and one day resumed, not because I gave in to temptation - I had proven to myself that I can keep myself to it no matter what. I do occasionally set "challenges" like that, just for the fun of it, usually for my own health benefit also, say, do push-ups every day, each day one more than the day before. You get the idea. Drinkwise, I only drink blessed, love-infused filtered water, either stream or rain (what humans have been drinking all over the planet for thousands of years). They are both heavenly, but for some reason I prefer stream. Feels more "alive". Can't explain what that means. Maybe the movement? But for that I need to take a longer walk. Probably meant to be that way.
Mercedes. My personal opinion, self-awareness is necessary to tap into prana. Animals are more in tune with nature, yes, and prana is part of nature, but I believe there is a higher order, based on which it is not an animal's place to access prana - it's not for them. Their role is exactly to partake in the "consume and be consumed" chain - it's the basis for their "lessons". Does that make sense?
On a final note, I would like to add how much I am in love with off-grid living and how it provides a fertile ground to cultivate a closeness with "Deity". For some that's simply Nature, for others it's a personified being of sorts. For me it's an omni-present energy field of infinite intelligence and Love. What such a closeness entails or CAN entail, I do not believe I am equipped to describe in any meaningful way. Here's a good exercise: visualise living off grid for half hour every day - it may even manifest! In the meantime you can get a feel of it to learn if it's really for you or not.
I hope I answered some questions today, and I hope I can give inspiration. Until next time.

It makes sense to me tat we arey because we believe or perceive we need food. With that in mind, why do infants if not feed die of starvation? They would not have that socially induced belief system. Also female bodies are designed to feed infants. Was just wondering...

Hi Savannah. To answer your second question first, I have answered that in my OP:
"And the digestive system is simply vestigial organs, the remnants from our previous evolutionary stages that we no longer need, like body hair, the appendix, male nipples, wisdom teeth, tail bones, or the wings of flightless birds."
It's the same with female breasts. As long as they're being used by the majority of the species they remain functional. It takes a long period of non-use (usually hundreds of thousands or even millions of years) by a species for an organ to become dysfunctional and atrophied.
Regarding the second question, humans are souls occupying animal bodies. Unless the fetus begins its life cycle in a breatharian mother's body (as happened in the case of Camila Castello) it will get used to receiving food-based sustenance and will lose its ability to process pranic sustenance. From that point on it will "need" food same as any animal until such time as it uses its self-conscious mind (unique to humans) to gradually transition to pranic nourishment.
Does that answer your questions?

To only need shelter and safety? What a wonderful idea and experiment. Takes off grid living to a whole new level.
The idea is odd to the logical part of the brain, but even more foreign to the submind. How can living on breath be possible without believing it is? At the depths of our subconscious mind, surely we've been programmed to believe it is impossible.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes and no. Your statements bear truth to you until you come to full realisation that we consume food for warmth (energy) and movement (energy) and that food consumption is simply a downgraded form of consuming universal energy passed down ultimately from the sun. Plants absorb light and transform and store it, which plant-eaters consume, which then gets passed on to meat-eaters. If you take the train of thought back to the origins of life when there were the first living plant cells on Earth and move on from there you will see that the total biomass of the planet is Earth-stuff (star dust) brought to life by solar energy.
We are all essentially condensed sunlight, taking downgraded sunlight for energy. From that understanding it is not a great quantum leap to come to accept that we can take that same universal energy in its pure form. For where did all these suns come from? From the energy soup of the universe after the Big Bang. All matter in the Universe was once energy. We are energy. e=mc2, right?
So you see, breatharianism is simply cells (the cells of our bodies, muscle cells and all) re-acquiring the ability to take that same old universal energy in its pure form. Nothing magical about it. "Food" only seems natural while you think inside that box. But even in that box, we already use sunlight for warmth. Imagine how hard all this understanding would be if we all lived underground unaware of the existence of the sun, relying exclusively on food for both warmth and movement. Luckily we know better.
Guess what. There are even about half a dozen breatharians worldwide who don't even drink. But for that you need a humid climate and take water from the air. Water is what our every cell is made of, and it is needed as it was needed for life right from the start, for the first cells on Earth and all life since. Being like a liquid crystal I believe water is a necessary tool for cells to capture and store that universal energy same as they can store human emotions, but this is only my understanding of it, I might be wrong. However, a quick check turned up this: https://www.learning-mind.com/water-can-store-and-transfer-information-say-scientists/
After all this, does the idea still seem far-fetched to you?

hi there Rolci, thanks for sharing all this.
could you please take us through a normal day for you? from the moment you wake up?
i've read everything you've written here, but i have not watched any of the links yet, so maybe these next questions will be redundant. but i'll ask anyway:
1) what, precisely, is your breathing technique for extracting the prana out of the atmosphere? you won't bore me with the details!:) please include it all!
2) how many times do you do it a day?
3) was there a period of trial and error, where you started breatharianism and failed a few times? if so, how long did it take for you to get it right?
4) do you think this technique can also be useful if one is also eating daily?
thanks.

Thanks for the deep questions, Mike, I'll make a point of answering them all as my time permits as answering them all or even one of the first ones would be long conversations, enjoyable as they would be, doubtless. For now, I would address the easier ones, your last 2 questions.
My trials and errors I have detailed in my opening post. Or at least mentioned, where my first (I would say somewhat rushed) attempt at transitioning was met with failure, which did put me down for a while before I tried again. Less physical aspects tie into all this and other aspect of course as I mentioned, psychological, emotional, and mental, on many different levels, all at the same time, it is quite an experience to even just try transitioning with perseverance.
It took me quite a while the second time, where I stretched it out unnecessarily long with tiny gradual steps, each individually more lengthy than I would now in retrospect consider necessary but I wanted to make sure I do it "right", or what I thought would be right for me. The hardest part for me was the step where I transitioned to juicing. At least in the first week. Constantly feeling hungry. If there was a breaking point that would have been it. I can't swear I would do it again, even knowing where that got me in the end. Others juice regularly. I was not used to it. The good news is, the hunger completely disappears after a few days to a couple weeks. I am not sure why, do we get used to the sensation or is it something else, no idea. It goes and never comes back as long as you are on that same diet.
Not sure what technique you are referring to in your last question. If you're asking about simple fasting, the benefits are well-knows and well-documented, the way I see it everyone who consumes ANY kind of food SHOULD detox regularly. As a lifestyle I recommend intermittent fasting. To everyone. Lots of youtube videos on that one. If you were asking about breathing technique, I wasn't practising with any degree of seriousness and regularity at the time, however I am now a full-blown proponent of the Wim Hof method, which I am practising save for the cold shower part, which I am planning to integrate into my life when I feel the time is right. The health benefits are numerous and overwhelming. Conscious control of the immune system, the autonomic nervous system, the endocrine system and a few others are some of the over-generalised answers here, if you watch any videos on breathing to find out about the exact health benefits I recommend to you personally this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YficBlvPwWQ
I also recommend researching holotropic breathwork. I have not tried but am eager to try, but I want to do it in a workshop as part of a group. We have no workshop near where we live. So I cannot report on this one. I hope one day I will be able to But she can:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prfll4C1zw0
While the WHM is for physical and mental well-being, HB is for emotional release and health.
Then there are many eastern breathing techniques in the Indian tradition for spiritual purposes that I believe are all good for you. I kind of sympathise with them but for some reason I do not feel them to be my kind of thing. Wim Hof method, amazing. Should be taught in school, with all the science behind it in the past 8 years. I am waiting to see that day impatiently. It has helped thousands, you can find many "reviews" or testimonial videos by random folks on youtube. In case anyone still needs convincing after the video I linked above. What surprises me personally is the gaping lack of people who report that it did not work for them. Most "methods" work for some and not so well or not at all for others. This seems to work for everyone in undeniable ways.
Regarding my normal day and "extracting" prana I'll have to answer you separately as I sense certain misconceptions on your part. In the meantime you may want to browse Ray Maor's Breatharian FAQ on youtube. It comes in 2 parts and there is a list of 15 frequently asked questions that he addresses in detail. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

After all this, does the idea still seem far-fetched to you?No, to my logical, conscious mind it makes perfect sense. The question was more about the subconscious mind, where perhaps 95% of our decisions are made and our beliefs reside. That part of the mind has surely been programmed to believe we must get sustenance from food and drink. But hey, maybe on an even deeper level we understand that Earthly programming is faulty.
When considering the processes within the physical body are electrical or energetic in nature, your theory is sound. The fascia and muscles work like capacitors and batteries. With the right foods (or Sunshine?) there is an electron exchange between cells that facilitate energy flow and proper function of the physical aspects of our electric body. When not given the right fuel the pH moves toward an acidic state. The current is lowered and dis-ease sets in. The wrong foods are dead, the living essence gone. The voltage is too low and we begin to disconnect from the natural order. So, getting the energy directly from the Sun, without the conversion from food sources, seems viable. Not far-fetched at all.
If you are interested in the mystical properties of water, read all you can find about Victor Schauberger, a Tesla/Leonardo/Newton kind of guy. This is a decent start if you aren't already familiar with him: https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/supressed_inventions/suppressed_inventions17.htm Schauberger posits some extremely interesting ideas. That the Sun doesn't warm the Earth. That bumble bees employ anti-gravity. So much more, especially about water.

That was new to me, and fascinating. Thank you. Now I understand why I prefer stream water. Their story is sad and typical. That's the world we live in. And that is why I chose the path I did. Yes, we need unlimited clean energy. Yes, food should be healthy. But these don't seem to happen easily or any time soon on a global scale, not in this system. The Venus Project? Maybe. But that ain't here.
That's why living as an off-grid breatharian is the best I can think of. The day that this lifestyle is followed by the entire planetary population, that's when ALL the powers that be lose all their power. Imagine that. All humans living free, independent, self-sufficient lives without television and politics. Nothing left to fight wars over. Resources will be meaningless. Even land. Just be. Anywhere.
P.S.: I had a browse through the root library of bibliotecapleyades.net - the amount of knowledge amassed there is insane. Many familiar titles, even more unfamiliar, a few intriguing. From a link there I re-visited Tom Kenyon's site where he channels the Hathors. Checked the latest message. Will you guess what it talks about? Haha, you guessed right. Let me quote:
"Trilliums are a means for you to tap into sources of sustenance that reside in other dimensions of existence outside of Earth’s current reality. And they are a means to bring into the cells of your body a type of nourishment and benevolent energies that can strengthen you. Interestingly, this type of subtle energy can take many forms, including manna, an edible food source, discussed in both the Old Testament and the Quran, that has otherworldly origins.
Mastery of your Trilliums is a very good skill set to have as you enter more deeply into the chaotic nature of planetary transformation that lies before you.
The most difficult thing about Trilliums is their simplicity. You do not “DO” anything to activate them as they are active 24 hours a day. All you need do is to qualify the energies you draw to yourself, and this is accomplished simply through holding a focused intention."
I am also currently reading Dolores Cannon's Convoluted Universe Book V. In case anyone is not familiar with that stuff, she was a world-renowned past life regression therapist and she published transcripts from many of her sessions with clients spanning over 5 decades, organised into topics in several best-seller books. A quote from Convoluted Universe Book V page 49:
[Linda's subconscious talking to Dolores, a message to the host body]: "Feel the loving, nurturing, vibrant, radiating, life loving, life giving energy in every bite she consumes into her body. Eventually she won't need to eat. She'll just take in that breath, take in that life force into her body....
Dolores: You have told be before that we will get to the point eventually where we won't have to eat. (She addresses her SC as 'you' since she had learned over the decades that all human's subconscious is like one overarching being.)
Linda: No, we won't need to eat. It just seems like a necessity now, but it won't be in the future."
This same idea has been expressed by people all over the world in a deep hypnotic state for many decades. Has this process started now globally? Apparently so:

could you please take us through a normal day for you? from the moment you wake up?
what, precisely, is your breathing technique for extracting the prana out of the atmosphere?
Hello again Mike, as promised I will now attempt to answer your 2 questions that I regarded as founded in misconceptions, and I will explain why.
Firstly, to your question, "what, precisely, is your breathing technique for extracting the prana out of the atmosphere?"
I cannot speak for others who might make use of "techniques" they "found" (attracted). I understand why it might seem like you need a technique. Imagine prana like a flow of a stream (or at least I do), on which you have built a dam. There is no technique to drink from a stream, but if you have built a dam you will need to dismantle it to drink from the stream again. As for that part, no one will dismantle that dam for no reason, spontaneously, without what I usually refer to as a "call". Do you have that call, Mike? Usually when you do you know it and can explain what exactly generates the call. It doesn't have to be a certain thing, it can be literally anything, and it is all different sort of things for different people, however I do not think it is likely that a desire to save money on food would qualify. For me it was a life-long desire to experience true freedom, as far as it is possible while inhabiting a human body.
If you feel your path to breatharianism should involve a technique I urge you to explore that avenue, preferably in meditation. It's the same as magick. Some people "need" rituals so they perform rituals. But first they must pick what system to practise in and which rituals they "feel" will work for them. However we are now living in the age of Chaos Magick and I believe this is a salient point to appreciate. I believe it has to do with an elevated level of consciousness on a global scale. When you understand why Chaos Magick exists you will understand whether you need a technique and if you do it will be your "job" to pick the right one, for which I suggest first you need to "know thyself". Which is no small undertaking but it is a necessary part of the job.
As you see from my reply, the breathing technique that I practise has nothing to do with "extracting prana", although for others it may well be the only way they "can" access it from their current perspective of viewing reality.
Finally, to address your initial question "could you please take us through a normal day for you? from the moment you wake up?" I must emphasise that, firstly, I don't have "normal" days. Please consider the very last sentence from my OP: "Every day feels like the journey has just begun and everything that has happened before just prepared us for today, and every "today" is a fecund gateway to the inconceivable magic of tomorrow." No two days are the same. Which was the weirdest thing for me as all my life I felt uncomfortable with a varying routine, I always used to like all days the same, at least when it came to jobs and chores. Know my tasks, know the expectations, act out the same routines for successful accomplishment of the task. I now see that as I bias I had developed / chosen that I was supposed to overcome by "letting go and letting God", which was no small task for me, obviously not simply because of the effect of upsetting my fixed routine but much much more.
To take you through my "normal day" would be meaningless (not trying to dodge your question here) as there are not many things that are a regular part of my day. For a more thorough understanding I would invite you to study the magical personality. Added to that I may or may not engage in what "synchronicities" bring my way. My viewpoint has evolved to a point where I now regard a fixed routine as a self-imposed limitation, whatever it may be rooted in. The only things I do routinely have to do with maintaining the body and the mind in a healthy configuration, which you will find takes up less and less time as your understanding of *things* broadens. I meditate. I do breathing techniques. I drink. I watch the sunset. I participate in community life - I may help in someone's garden or I may help with building *things we here build*. I have interesting conversations that I enjoy. I work on perfecting my "disciplines of the personality", which I regard of extreme importance. But that's not something I do physically. I would describe it as a spiritual activity maybe. I find it a lot of fun.
Apart from all that I try new things as they come. Carve out of wood. Design and attempt to build structures. Play board games. I enjoy the occasional game of chess. Wander in the woods. Draw a map. I spend a minimal time online, reading, sharing thoughts and volunteering in the Venus Project, which may one day replace my present life and human life on a global scale, at least I hope it will. No rush though. Let humanity take their time.
I hope you found in my answer what you were looking for, or at least something useful. If something is unclear or would like to understand more fully, please ask again.

hi there Rolci, thanks a bunch for that thoughtful reply. can you tell me what breathing techniques you personally use?
also, though i know the need for money is drastically reduced with this lifestyle, do you do anything to earn money? for the random unexpected event?
as far as the "call"...i'm hearing something, it's a bit muffled and distant..but i think i'm making my way towards it:)
i appreciate you taking the time to explain!

Hi Mike, the only breathing technique I use is the Wim Hof breathing technique, which I try to do every day, sometimes twice. The only purpose I use it for is, unlike others, to give me a presence of mind focused on the Now. I do not use it with the intention of gaining the well-documented health benefits, although if they come they are welcome, and I certainly do not use it for "accessing prana". Although I must emphatically add that, incidentally, I personally see more than just a strong correlation between this presence of mind and "accessing prana". When I think of the ways different breatharians access prana - from the air, from the Sun, from the Earth, from "treated" water, from radiation, from other people's emotional resonance, through meditation, etc. - I see only one common denominator, and that is a (usually focused) presence of mind, at a level higher than the normal "presentness". It is hard to explain, as the difference is subtle, but I would imagine most readers here on Avalon know what I'm talking about.
I don't do anything to earn money, I have a bit saved for emergencies, but I never touched it before and I am not planning on touching it unless absolutely necessary. For me the breatharian lifestyle is part of living a grander principle, namely freedom. This is what started me on this path, this is what kept me there in those low moments, and this is what I value breatharianism most for, the freedom it gives that's not possible otherwise. I am always surprised when I see how most others have no interest in this kind of freedom, for me there is no life without this, I would never go back.
Finally I have the long-awaited video interview with Michael Werner from the documentary In the Beginning There Was Light, with English dubbing. The interview details the two observation studies on breatharian Michael Werner:
2004 - (Lindenhof Hospital, Bern, Switzerland)
and
2007 - (University Clinic, Prague, Czech Republic)

Hi Gem, I am glad if I could be of service. Do you have your own story to share? I'd love to hear.
Thanks to a neighbour who is expressing interest in our lifestyle I am currently working on my own little project regarding the breatharian transition process. However much these "processes" have been refined by today and however many different ones (see https://www.breatharianworld.com/en/scientific-pranic-nourishment-survey/ and there is a list of different processes on the right) there are of them, I have always considered them "forced". Maybe it works for some, but I have been feeling that there is a need for a much gentler, more natural transition. Ray Maor's 8-day process is reported to have a 50% success ratio, much higher than Jamusheen's 21-day process, but I personally believe that a more "processless" process would have a higher success ratio and would make for an easier transition. To share the gist of it with my Avalon friends, I will describe it in a few words here.
Essentially it starts with a regular 36-hour dry fast (from last meal of day, say 8pm, through all day next day, till next morning, say 8am), which is very easy to do for anyone, but it's like a mini-challenge to give encouragement and a little push to those that feel the call but maybe have not enough faith or don't know how to start. During your first fast you are encouraged to develop a closer relationship with your body by being "present with it" and also to see how well you do with a fast, what your weaknesses are, maybe you will find a mental compulsion to consume, as in an ordinary addiction.
If you decide, you can have another dry fast when you feel the time is right for you, this time adding an extra day, bringing it up to 2.5 days. By now you can have a little taster of what life without food might be like. If you still feel okay and feel that you are mentally ready, you can try a 3.5-day dry fast next time, and so on. There are several week-long dry fast testimonials on youtube, simply type in 7 day dry fast and you won't believe how widespread the practice is among all kinds of people, body builders, athletes, and people already on special diets. My favourites are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx9rii3dcQ0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mPF5wS5rrQ .
You can keep increasing the number of days and keep a close feel of your physical and mental health, you mood, etc. and it is very important that when you feel that it is a bit too challenging, stop the increase for a while and do a few dry fasts for the same length to boost your resistance or whatever it is you need and also to build your faith. You will know when you're ready to go up a notch. A tip, you may want to chew a gum to keep your jaw muscles in shape, otherwise they will feel sore after the fast. If you find you struggle but want to keep trying you may want to keep it "wet" a little by either taking extended baths (maybe with Epsom salt) or, if that's still not much help, drinking distilled water. The key here is graduality and most importantly feeling good about your fast.
If you ever reach the point where you 1. notice your weight loss turns around and start gaining until you settle at a certain weight and 2. you will notice your energy levels skyrocketing for apparently no reason you know that's when your prana "kicks in", you will feel it. If you ever notice these you might want to extend your fast, but I would strongly advise doing so with a "clear giver" present, another breatharian or someone close AND SUPPORTIVE. Finally, these dry fasts are best done when you have a few days of peace, like a weekend, timing and finding the right place can make a lot of difference. Last word of advice, if you EVER get trouble with breathing, break the fast immediately, sip a little water slowly and have a few bites. More advice to the few that are still reading and are really ready to take this seriously: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vREtS4U2IGc (you will need to skip the boring parts and listen carefully to everything he has to say).
So this is what I'm working on right now in my few quiet and lonely moments, hoping to contribute with something new. I would like the readers to keep in mind that breatharianism doesn't have to mean no food ever again, it simply means the ability to survive on prana alone - you can still CHOOSE TO enjoy food and drink as often as you like. It would also be nice to have more fellow breatharians and one day establish an entire off-grid breatharian community, similar to an eco village, which could then advertise the validity and realness of the diet and the phenomenon to a point where people and science take it seriously and give it its well-deserved recognition, for the freedom and health of humanity.

Hi Rolci, no story to share . . . yet. I have been interested on and off for years and now seriously looking at transitioning over the next couple of years.
I was not aware of Wim Hof and after looking into him further from your links, this is exactly what I have been waiting for. Everything I have scientifically learned over the years, coupled to intuitive belief, but with the removal of complexity.
As retarded as this sounds, I haven’t wanted to achieve radical transformation with my “ill health” until the “simplest possible formula” could be executed as it then becomes inspirational, accessible and achievable to my friends and loved ones.
Thank you once again for your great posts.

Rolci,
Beautifully documented post and thank you so very much for sharing. You have no doubt made this conscious choice and are enjoying a new level of consciousness that is difficult for most to even begin to comprehend. If mankind could evolve into what you have achieved, think about the leaps and bounds that could be achieved as a species.
You briefly referenced a slight weight gain and then the realization of prana. I was going to ask about your initial experience and whether you experienced significant weight loss and any effect it might have had on your energy level?
Could you elaborate on this a bit more? Trouble with breathing? Could you give an example? And if one does practice breatharianism and then needs to eat for the aforementioned reason, what effect would this or might this have on the dormant digestive system?
So this is what I'm working on right now in my few quiet and lonely moments, hoping to contribute with something new. I would like the readers to keep in mind that breatharianism doesn't have to mean no food ever again, it simply means the ability to survive on prana alone - you can still CHOOSE TO enjoy food and drink as often as you like. I certainly hope that if you do this, you choose to NOT do this in the United States. The system does not take kindly to those who seek another path (think Branch Dividians), or any group who they would perceive to undermine the lucrative profit centers that are constantly stressed to achieve "growth" (i.e., Medicine, Pharma, Energy Companies, Agribusiness).
Congratulations on your physical and spiritual liberation. You have achieved something remarkable!

As retarded as this sounds, I haven’t wanted to achieve radical transformation with my “ill health” until the “simplest possible formula” could be executed as it then becomes inspirational, accessible and achievable to my friends and loved ones.
Quite the opposite, it's exactly what I've been doing with everything I encounter my entire life. I collect the best quotes from every book I read into txt files. These txt files make up a "treasure chest" folder. I also do the same with audio and video, for which I have splitter-joiner software to edit media files. This gives a "condensation" of everything I have come across in my 10 years of intensive seeking. It's as though I were looking to create secret formulas that can be applied by anyone by finding the common denominator in very different, uhm, things, like, say, see what's common in all alternative medical treatments (the subconscious mind) etc. In most cases it takes years to come to a realisation, for which I then collect all evidence into a folder.
Does this sound like something you do, or am I taking it to extreme?
Anyway, as you can see, I am doing it again by working to replace all the breatharian transition processes with a simple series of increasingly long dry fasts (that many people already do and anyone can do) with an in-build self-creating faith-generating mechanism by allowing you to see how far you feel comfortable going every step of the way.
You briefly referenced a slight weight gain and then the realization of prana. I was going to ask about your initial experience and whether you experienced significant weight loss and any effect it might have had on your energy level?
I do not recall exact figures. If I were to transition again, I would document daily weights. Maybe when you do yours you can record and share. You won't be the first to reference weight loss but I am not aware of anyone who did daily weight checks and shared it with the world. Indeed, we really need a proper testimonial with supporting evidence in the form of exact figures so others can know what to expect and what would be a bad sign (too much weight loss). Saying all that, other people's testimony (and numbers) aside, you should always LISTEN TO YOUR BODY first and foremost. It has its own in-built wisdom, it knows what it can do and what it needs your help with.
Could you elaborate on this a bit more? Trouble with breathing? Could you give an example? And if one does practice breatharianism and then needs to eat for the aforementioned reason, what effect would this or might this have on the dormant digestive system?
Trouble breathing DURING a transition, or during dry fast. If you experience breathing problems break the fast. If you already practice breatharianism that means your body is processing prana as it should, you won't get breathing problems by then. And eating does not have any effect on your digestive system, many breatharians nibble occasionally. Remember B does not mean don't eat, it means you don't have to eat to survive. You can still enjoy food. I would say don't overeat, but you will find that your body won't let you anyway, you will have learned to listen to your body by then. You will know what's right and how much.
The whole point of an off-grid community is that you are no longer part of the system. You reclaim your status as a "freeman on the land", as we say around here. You take your life into your own hands. You no longer need medicines (especially if you're a breatharian) and have no bills to worry about.

As a person who doesn't particularly enjoy eating, but nevertheless has gotten obsessed with cooking recently, I'm finding this exceptionally interesting (minus the part about meditation!). I've never been able to meditate, and sometimes I wonder if it might just be impossible for me. My body is too tiny to do lots of things, and maybe my spirit is just too tiny to meditate (just a little joke, ha ha)
I resent having to eat, and if I don't actually have to, I resent being told that I have to. Somehow I doubt I'll starve myself to death (sarcasm)
It's only in recent months I learned the term "Breatharian", and I notice "Chi" is mentioned here too. Chi is "used" (I use that word loosely) in other cultures for things like self defense (Tai Chi for example). As a tiny person... I've been looking at that too :) Bottom line being, I definitely think there's an invisible energy at work.

.. Your statements bear truth to you until you come to full realisation that we consume food for warmth (energy) and movement (energy) and that food consumption is simply a downgraded form of consuming universal energy passed down ultimately from the sun.
The sun?! It all keeps coming back to the sun... I just finished making a posting about how tiny the sun is compared to other stars... plus I've been joking about the sun for most of the weekend. The sun is most definitely more than just a "big stupid ball of gas" :)
Hi Rolci,
I have a question about Breatharianism...
Do breatharians poop? (serious question). I imagine if I didn't eat anything at all, I wouldn't have any waste.
I ask because I'm a little concerned at the consequences of not pooping. In recent years I've become very "regular" and can practically set the clock by my bowels. To me, "regularity" seems important in being able to clean out one's insides.

Hi Petra. Sorry for the delay in answering. To answer your question, I can't speak for all breatharians, but it would be safe to say that most of us do. About once a month I would say. A few things worth mentioning here.
First of all, pure as it may be, prana is energy that translates to matter in the body and is used for its renewal purposes. You must rest assured that as long as there is stuff going in (in whatever form) there will be stuff going out. It's just that the conversion is much more efficient and there is less waste.
Secondly, detoxing. You realise food is not the only source toxins of all sorts can enter your body, some are ingested with the water, some you breathe in, and again some may penetrate through your skin. I consider chemicals you use to "cleanse" your body with such undesired toxins (which is why I almost never use them). Now I consider it important that these be expelled from the body from time to time. I'm sure some of that will happen automatically, the body is an amazingly intelligent machine, if only we let it do its stuff. Some people go on a detox diet, they may go on a dry fast, or they may do enemas. I am currently in the process of changing my water "diet". I have decided to start distilling my filtered stream water. Filtering removes volatile organics, distilling will remove everything else, leaving pure (I hope still naturally structured) water. Yes, drinking stream water will result in the slow accumulation of "waterborne" stuff in the body. Which, if you're fussy, could be considered a disqualifying factor from breatharianism. Yes, I have been "eating" Paramecia and all sorts of Euglenoidea. I am saying goodbye to those.
Lastly, and this may seem unimportant, the body seems to have a certain ability to use its own waste, as they observed when examining Jani Yogi's bladder, when urine forms and is then re-absorbed. However I am not aware of this process happening in the rectal area. I do not know what would happen if you obstructed the passage way for solid toxins to leave the body. I assume that would be a cause of death after a while. Even for a breatharian. I can't be sure of this and I can't know much of this process in other breatharians, and I am not willing to do an experiment on myself as I have always been a proponent of "everything natural". With me, when it comes, it goes.
Ask anyone who does 10+ day dry fasts. I bet they will say they poop till the last day. Just smaller and harder.
I hope you will find these details informative to your satisfaction.

Thanks very much, your reply is more than satisfying! That's the answer which I was hoping to hear too - moving my bowels about once per month sounds fine to me, and I imagine if there were any discomfort you'd have said so.
I'm very impressed with the concept of being a breatharian so far, and feel as if I am slowly moving towards this. I've considered, maybe it would be healthier to not eat anything, as opposed to eating junk food and garbage. I'm learning to be a better cook, but that might just end up being a waste of time - so far I've thrown out about 1/2 the food I had meant to eat because it had gone bad.
I certainly think it's possible for some urine waste to be re-absorbed, seems less likely for fecal matter though.
As you said the body IS amazingly intelligent, but I think that it also can be kind of dumb sometimes too. For example when one person yawns, and then everyone starts to yawn. That's psychological more than physiological, but I think it's all connected.
I've had times where I'm not near a washroom and willed my body to stop wanting to poop. It works, but I don't imagine it's good for my body, like how we're not supposed to hold in a sneeze.

The last few months have been amazing, far exceeding our expectations. The method I developed has been a success! (I should probably write a book about it or teach it in workshops or something, if I had the appropriate entrepreneurial mindset.) We have seen the couple I had mentioned before transition successfully, and two other couples! We were not aware they had an interest a few months ago, but it seems news got around quick (they usually do around here) about our friends doing their transition. So now we have 4 breatharian couples including us, and that makes me wonder, how many more will follow. Especially since not only are we all a tight-knit community here where everybody knows everybody, but also we are aware of one another's daily/weekly habits, who goes shopping where and when, and it is easy notice when this habit is broken by these couples who no longer travel to town on their shopping days!
In spite of all this we have no other people, near of far, who are expressing an interest in this lifestyle. Most of them simply enjoy food and would never give it up, mostly for the taste, others would never part with the socialising aspect of food consumption, and sitting at a dinner table with no food on is just not the same. We understand and respect these sentiments and would not force or want to see people give up what they hold dear or see as something that gives some kind of meaning (or at least contribute) to their lives.
Saying that, I have a feeling that there must be at least a few people here (or even on this forum) who have been inspired to start experimenting with our "increasingly longer fasts" method. To be honest I'm quite proud of it myself. Ever so simple yet amazingly effective. Just common sense really, it's like sports, testing your own limits and pushing ever further, jumping higher, running faster, or lifting more, always breaking your previous best by just a little bit more. I see this method as a gift of "gentle transition" for all humanity. I hope to see and hear more success stories following the ones here.
Has anyone had any success using any of the other methods out there? I wonder what the critical mass is for breatharianism to be widely accepted as a valid alternative lifestyle like vegetarianism and veganism and when all the people will stop crying "lies" when confronted by one of us, in real life or even just a video, a testimony, a workshop or wherever. We are somewhere between 50.000 and 100.000. So how many will it take? The Pranic World Festival is one of the most inspiring and hope-giving things I've ever seen. We haven't been to one yet, only seen videos and talked to some of the participants. Some weird people for sure, but I suppose in this age it takes quite some weirdness to even consider adapting the breatharian lifestyle for oneself. In any case, the numbers are definitely growing, I assume we are at the very bottom of a not-too-steep exponential curve that is likely to smooth out in the end. Some people will always consume physical I guess. I like the word "pranic", more than "breatharian". Also it's been in use for thousands of years, nothing new here. I see Prana and Chi being accepted as science fact VERY soon.
Saying that, I have never considered the consensus of "scientists" as something people should be waiting for in order to affect changes in their own lives. If we all did that, there would not be a Wim Hof today. Think about that. I wish we had more science tests done on us, like Michel Werner has had done on him in Austria and then in Switzerland. Too bad neither institute released the results. People like Michael Werner, Prahlad Jani, Ray Maor and others who allow scientists to do tests on them are gifts to mankind. We need an observation like the one done on Ray Maor, streamed live, like Big Brother. Locked in a mansion for 6 months with no food, with a reward of $1 million waiting at the end. Bigger step for mankind than Armstrong, if you ask me!

Thanks for update Rolci :) My experimenting won't be till next year when the last of my youngun's has flown the coop and I don't have to cook for anyone anymore. I also have a medical condition that would improve drastically if I am able to attempt and be successful as a breatharian, as I am unable to tolerate the medication needed for my condition.
Family gatherings will be the toughest - gonna have to work hard on my olfactory system
All the best to you and I look forward to any future news and updates.

IMPORTANT UPDATE! PROOF ON THE VALIDITY OF BREATHARIANISM NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL!
It has been a while since I last wrote and, similarly to last time, we have had unexpected developments, to all our amazements. This has almost become like science fiction up to this point with the spreading of the lifestyle in our neighborhood, except now it has turned into verifiable reality supported by objective proof.
Two things have led to the discovery, and the proof itself is the amalgamation of two processes. One of these is the "gradual transition" method I developed and have described here in post #25, which has been successfully applied and concluded by multiple members of our local community. The second is the development reported earlier last year where it has been found and demonstrated that breatharians gain weight while meditating, evidenced by meditating on hyper-accurate scales. While this latter one could be considered proof in itself, it remains uninvestigated by mainstream science so all we have is the reports. However, when combined with my transition method in a very specific way, it can be used as a way to obtain undeniable proof for the validity of breathariansim.
WARNING! Before you read on, you MUST consider this: obtaining undeniable objective proof of the validity of the breatharian lifestyle by anyone who is not actually READY on at least SOME level to transition WILL have undesired effects on the person. What is meant by this is that if you become aware that there is a way to obtain proof by anyone, you WILL be tempted to try and see for yourself, in which case you WILL see that breatharianism is not a fairy tale perpetuated by 50,000 charlatans deceiving people out of their money in workshops (as many have been WANTING to believe) but a reality obtainable by anyone. This, in turn, will result in an acute awareness of the exact nature of your present lifestyle. What does this mean?
- Every time you eat, you will know that you are damaging your body, making it effectively "age" (read: wear away from toxins) much faster than it should.
- Every time you do your shopping you will be acutely aware that you are essentially just burning money for no real reason.
- Every time you write your shopping list you will be aware that you are preparing for something that is a waste of your time on a LARGE scale - from shopping through cooking to cleaning up.
- You WILL start questioning every other aspect of your life, beginning with everything else you're buying, realising they are all stuff you don't need, from "healthcare" products to finally all the gadgets you choose to entertain yourself with on a daily basis.
With that must-have warning out of the way, here is the proof you obviously want to have since you're still reading. It is very simple. 2 easy steps.
Number one: Follow the gradual transition method I described in my previous further up on this page, post #25 ( http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?105803-The-Breatharian-Path-The-Science-my-own-Journey-and-the-Ramifications-for-any-Human&p=1288346&viewfull=1#post1288346 ) with the added process of taking a measurement of your weight every 6 hours after using the toilet and with all clothes off to get an accurate net weight. You do not want to leave any doubts. You do this for the gradually increasing fasts as many occasions as you like - say you start with a 12-hour fast, next week you do a 36-hour fast, next week a 60-hour fast and so on, preferably dry fasts as long as you can "comfortably" go, or if you prefer, a normal water (I recommend distilled) fast. Do this for as many weeks as you can/want to/feel necessary, and as long as you do not feel your life is threatened. If you do, break the fast. (Which is where the word "breakfast" comes from by the way.)
Number two: Repeat the first step after a number of weeks of longer and longer fasts, with the 6-hourly weight measurements, however this time you add one final step: meditation/yoga. Normally meditation is meditation, and similarly yoga is yoga, however if you are to obtain your proof you must be careful with what meditation/yoga you do / how you meditate. If you choose yoga the obvious choice is pranayama. However I would advise that meditation still be practised in addition as I cannot confirm yoga alone can do the trick, it is only a hunch I have (as long as it is pranayama), though this remains untested to-date. What we have seen tested and working however, is doing a meditation with the intention of opening up to / receiving prana / inpouring "divine" life energy.
You will notice either one of 3 things: either you will unexplicably gain weight, at least after a few measurements, OR you will not lose any weight as you did in your previous fasts, OR at the very least, your weight loss will be less than in ANY of your previous fasts and the measurements will NOT chart a straight line as before but will be erratic. But most likely you will observe the reported weight gain, even when measured right before meditation and straight after and compared - depending on how long you meditate for and how "successfully", and of course on how accurate your scales are!
This has been tested and demonstrated as providing a net weight gain by another one of our local friends who showed no interest when he learned about our lifestyle, or when the other couples transitioned. He showed however an eager spirit when I proposed the above test (as it was at that stage). Sadly he has not transitioned as of now, and cannot say whether he will or not, however it is thanks to him and his feedback that I could (and indeed had to) give the warning before the proof - he is in a "funny" mental state at the moment due to his experiences with his unexpectedly newly-found personal conviction. We will have to wait and see where he goes from here, which I will follow with great interest and may or may not report here - I hope all will go well for him, we are here to support of course but all must have this fight inside themselves if they hadn't prepared themselves and I see it as having the possibility of going wrong - hence the warning.
With the due warnings I felt it was my duty to report what we found, all the more so since, unlike vegetarianism and veganism, breatharianism is not only not going mainstream, it is not even generally accepted as valid due to a lack of a critical mass - 50,000 "followers" simply does not cut it, it would seem, even with all the documentaries and all the scientific tests that have been carried out (all of which have been generally ignored or even questioned/criticised). Saying that, I have no doubt the critical mass will be achieved, but for some reason much more slowly than other diet-related alternative lifestyles. Could it be related to the impact this going mainstream will no doubt have on the economies of the world, similar to free energy devices? Not to mention the loss of control over the masses once all humans claim their freedom and sovereignty and start living off the grid on a mass level. Now that will be fun to watch!

Three months on, has anyone on this forum been able to confirm for themselves the absolute reality of the breatharian path? It's funny, now that we have had a breakthrough and there is real evidence for everybody, all of a sudden it's all gone quiet everywhere - no skeptics making comments, no supporters. Also no change here in our community, and don't expect to be any more - all are aware, not everyone interested. And it's been forever since the last article I read in the news about breatharianism.
I honestly expected this aspect of spiritual lifestyle to go mainstream and our numbers to multiply at a great rate globally - I was wrong. What am I missing? Is living a toxin-free healthy life that's compassionate to all living beings and saves a ton of money no longer of interest to human beings on this planet? It feels like time has stopped and the world has frozen and dug itself into a paradigmatic standstill.

Please ignore my last post. The sudden interest in how to live without food is PHENOMENAL! I am genuinely overwhelmed. I don't even know what to post here, it's all ongoing. All I can say is, do your research people. I wanna say "shoulda done it before, we have been trying to tell the world for years" but that won't help, will it? The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse anyone? The first being pandemic? Second war, then famine, and lastly death? Does this look like anything we can imagine as a likely near future based on how things are looking today? Wouldn't you say living off-grid with solar, and as a breatharian might make sense / be an advantage? Or is it too late to start now? I don't know. I hope the ideas I have been putting out in the past year or so has helped some people, some that heeded the advice. God be with the rest.

Rolci, thank you so much for your writtings here...
I have been on this path for awhile now, maybe 10 years.
Vegetarian -> Vegan -> (now the past 1 year) been doing constant 48-70hr dry fasts...
Now this is the next step :)
I've just read this thread and will try the weight measuring idea.
THANK YOU!!! :)

Regarding the thought of a breatharian community. I remember Dan Brulé saying there is a sun-eating (not gazing) community in India. When he visits them, no matter if 10 or 2 days, he feels no hunger at all. So I guess a community can definitely help with the „initiation“.
It also reminds me of the 4 Minute mile. For a while it was impossible to run a mile under 4 minutes and once it was done many other people could suddenly do it - nowadays even youth athletes can do it.
PS:
Dan Brulé is probably the best breath teacher in the world. He incorporates Wim Hof, Pranayama, Sufi breathing etc. and looks into the many many many applications of breath in our lives. He’s a Philosopher of the Breath.

iI have been practising the Wim Hof Method for many years. There is no doubt regarding the benefits of this practice, the science is rock-solid. However a few weeks ago I stopped my practice. Now why would anyone do that, you ask.
Call it an experiment. Remember those studies that have shown how doing physical exercises (working out) in the mind result in actual physical muscle growth and in line with that strength gain? I am talking about studies like
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14998709/
and
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28412240/
These studies have been going on for at least 2 decades now yet I do not see a lot of people that are aware of the studies, even less ones that actually incorporate this invaluable knowledge into their lives. I have decided to apply the underlying principle to the Wim Hof Method in my life. This is what I would like to share with you today. I know it's a bit of a digression from the topic of breatharianism, but if you were to give it further thought you would realize that there are fundamental similarities between breatharianism and using the mind to make physical changes in the body. After all, like I said, the body needs sustenance. It is the mind, then, (or should I say consciousness) that is the engine for the productionof this sustenance. I personally find it amazing how there is this umbrella term "breatharian" while in fact there are no two breatharians that gain their sustenance from the same source in the same way. As you are aware some gain it from the air, others from sunlight, others utilize prana, there are some that use radiation, and some use emotions. There are lots more sources, but what's common is the presence (obviously) of consciousness that engages with these "sources".
Getting back to my little experiment here, it comes from a realization that I had. While I have grown accustomed to having cold showers and all and have no problems with it, it is still a kind of a shock to the body when the cold water first hits you. It has the effect of waking the mind up with a kind of force that does not normally touch your mind very often in your regular activities. Where I have been also practising creative visualization for a while it occurred to me one day recently that I might as well just IMAGINE the cold water giving me the shock and the powerful sensation that a cold shower is to the body. This is easy when you have done it for a long time. So you can transform it into a kind of meditation. I have come to the conclusion that the WHM is in fact nothing more than a physical counterpart of a focused meditation. But here, instead of focusing on an image (say a candle flame) you focus on a physical sensation that GRABS ALL your attention. I mean who daydreams while having a cold shower? I you do, that cold shower has lost its effectiveness at that point. I believe the value is in the "shock period".
In any case I have started using visualization of a cold shower to see if it makes a difference or if having the cold shower is an absolute must. The question I am looking to find an answer to is exactly what I mentioned above, if the value of the cold shower is nothing more than the focusing of the mind, or if there is more to it, which is also a possibility. Perhaps it is too early to draw any conclusions, but so far I do not notice any difference. I guess it also depends on your visualization skills, your mental focus, your discipline. Being a seasoned meditator sure helps. Since most are not, the cold shower will do "miracles".
I would invite anyone that has been practising the WHM to join me in this experiment and see where it goes, and then share their experiences. We might be onto some breakthrough here, if my intuition is correct on this. However I would add that having actual experience with the cold shower is essential for this experiment as you cannot imagine - or make up - a shocking experience that you never had or haven't had for a long time, unless it was traumatic, which I hope your cold shower wasn't.
Apart from all this there are no major news I have to share. Our breatharian community here is expanding. Every new story is exciting, but I believe I have shared enough on here, there is no newness to anything that I could share that you haven't read on here. One more breatharian is no news any more. It's a personal journey. I would recommend Elitom Elammin's youtube channel if anyone would like to hear more about the breatharian path. My present life is FAR beyond this part. I would say I have outgrown the petty subject of "check it out, we don't need food". My attention these days is on manifestation. Which does actually encompass breatharianism as this lifestyle is nothing more than a manifestation of a certain state of mind. However the powers of the human mind are incredible beyond description. A good start for anyone interested would be Sadhgurus videos on manifestation. These are actually making me spend more time on the internet now, which is not typical of me. It is very quiet here. No virus of course. Or lockdown. No governmental influence of any kind. Yet it's grown very quiet. No visitors. Perfect time for expanding our minds even further.

Time for a short update, I have 3 things of relative import to share.
A few days ago I learned through a conversation with one of my neighbors who tried the "gradually longer fasts" method I described above that what she did in preparation for her fast was to eat as much as she could on the last day before the fast. This may seem an innocent thing to do, even one that would seem to make some sense when viewed from a certain perspective, however I must point out that to me it is clear that such thinking is a reflection of the wrong mindset. I see how "stocking up" might be seen as something that will help you achieve a longer fast, and I suppose it does have its place if you want an extended fast and nothing else, however if your purpose is to achieve transition to a breatharian lifestyle (which was allegedly the case here with this lady), this mindset is definitely counter-productive. I don't see how your body is supposed to know it is to start processing prana while your subconscious mind is obviously convinced that its only source of nourishment cannot possibly be anything other than physical food - otherwise you would see no need to "stock up", right? I thought this was obvious to everyone interested in transitioning, so it struck me to catch this when it was dropped casually - I instantly picked up on it as it sounded just wrong. And it is! I hope you all see why this attitude is counter-productive. If anything, a tuning down of the daily consumption gradually for a week before your fast will be more beneficial in your moving towards an eventual transition.
Secondly, and somewhat similarly to the first point, it is equally counter-productive to try and consume "extra-nourishing" superfoods before your fast, trying to store up your "vitamins" and "minerals". The reasoning is the same here as before, when the body switches over to prana, this life-giving source will provide your body with all it needs, the body is quite capable of transmuting prana into the substances it needs to build itself. The body is more intelligent that most people assume!
And third, I believe the world is ready for the evidence to go widely-known. In fact, I think it is time for people to start taking grown-up responsibility for their lifestyles, in full awareness of the options. We really need the world to become aware of the "weight gain during pranayama" phenomenon, which we have now demonstrated many times. I think what we need is an experiment set up and live-streamed over a number of channels online that the world can tune in to, of breatharians (not necessarily breatharians though) meditating on very accurate scales, with a live feed of the indicator. Now this will take some time and the conditions will need to be controlled rigorously, since scientists love spending time thinking coming up with alternative explanations AFTER the event, at which point they demand a re-sit, and then another one, until there are no more willing participants left or where at some point all interested parties lose interest, the experiment sinking into oblivion and people still living in the darkness, dependent upon the system. This needs to be planned and carefully layed out, but it really should be done soon in a way that shows the world once and for all the reality of pranic nourishment beyond any and all doubt. I believe higher than ever is the number of people that are ready to become independent, self-sufficient citizens of the planet. Anyone got any ideas or connections to set this up?

Thanks to Rolci and Dawn for sharing their insights, knowledge and resource links/vids. http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/wave-hi.gif
One of the vids Rolci provided was by Ray Maor (https://www.youtube.com/c/RayMaor/videos). I downloaded the book he mentioned called, ”A Year Without Food: Discover the Unimaginable World of Proven Energetic Nourishment”. I’ve since found a free pdf (https://www.pdfdrive.com/a-year-without-food-discover-the-unimaginable-world-of-proven-energetic-nourishment-spiritual-energy-for-healthy-life-e196898682.html) (128 pages). In the next post I’ll include snippets from the book. I figured if there are free copies, it’d be okay to add parts here.
If you type in breatharian (https://www.pdfdrive.com/search?q=breatharian&pagecount=&pubyear=&searchin=&em=&more=true) quite a few pdfs and sometimes ePub formats are available. They’ll have a drop down menu. In a posts to follow, I’ll add the Q&A section from PRANIC NOURISHMENT: Nutrition for the New Millennium, by: Jasmuheen.
http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/red-line.gif
In short and as mentioned on Doug's thread (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?114827-Are-you-saying-Yes-to-life-Or-No-to-life&p=1424469&viewfull=1#post1424469), breatharianism is what you make it. There's a whole range of ways to accomplish it. For some, it's 2-3 meals a week, others live without food or water, for some it's water only, others put a time frame on their goal, while others ease into the process.
The beauty is you make it your own by listening to your inner guidance.
My plan is to take it one week at time. The end desire is living on 'prana', but I'm open to adjust to whatever fits the frequency of this mind, body, soul, and spirit.
Note: I find that at least in the breatharian books I’ve read, the authors promote their ideal systems. I keep that in mind while researching what’s best for my custom design program. I’m only into the second week and will report my experience in a month or two. No doubt, I’ll continue to tweak the process to maintain success.
By: Jasmuheen:
“…the only thing we are truly limited by is our beliefs. That we have the ability, and the opportunity, to create a reality that allows us to live our life to our fullest potential. If our life is not operating at maximum potential and fulfilling our personal standards and expectations then maybe we can look at our belief systems and broaden or change our model of understanding.”
“It is not about fasting, it is about allowing, trusting, clicking into an energy pattern of knowing that our true sustenance is provided by Cosmic Light, which sustains many beings from many Universes, and is a possibility offered to us here and now. Nor is it a process of denial. “

In ideal conditions, each cell works as its own power plant; it consumes energy, cleans itself and excretes the garbage. When we fast, one of the first things the body does is start detoxifying and ridding itself of excess dietary remnants.
Breatharians rely on prana—the purest and cleanest source of nourishment available on earth. In fact, it is the original source of life energy on earth. When we eat food, we technically eat prana in its secondary and third forms filtered through the plants and animals we consume.
After about a year into my breatharian experience, I decided to go back to eating a meal once in a while. These days I balance myself with two or three meals a week and some snacks if I feel like it, though I don’t need them. There is no more self-judgment on the subject and I feel that I can easily enjoy both worlds.
Understanding that a man does not require food to survive or requires a ridiculously small amount of food, opens us up to an understanding of what and who we truly are. It shows us the triumph of human consciousness over physical reality and makes us second-guess ourselves.
Each person naturally maintains a different level of prana which varies from day to day. Generally, when you are in a place where you feel comfortable and in ‘the present moment’, you find you are not motivated to eat from habit or emotional need. For example, when you are happy, content or in love, you may notice your appetite tends to decrease. This is because in higher vibrational states of being, the percentage of prana in your body rises.
Raising your personal level of prana is not very difficult and can be achieved through the regular practice of meditation, deep breathing exercises and conscious intention.
Staying in present moment requires less prana food. Stress, worry, ie lower frequency causes body to need sustenance.
Most people have less than 10% prana in their bodies and they run on electricity and need to be plugged into food for energy. By contrast, a breatharian runs on wireless solar power.
Most choose to eat or drink in small quantities, but not regularly. This practice is not based on a need to eat, but a desire to experience taste and texture or to fulfill social commitments. I calculate that a breatharian consumes between zero and one-third of his/her original recommended caloric intake because they no longer need to balance the body with nutrients.
This journey is not about whether one eats or not. Its importance is in the freedom it provides. The freedom to be at choice, to dictate to the body as the master in a house; to free oneself from limitation, from beliefs that we need to eat or sleep or age or die; to have the courage to explore our full potential.
One of the things that I have come to understand is the only thing we are truly limited by is our beliefs. That we have the ability, and the opportunity, to create a reality that allows us to live our life to our fullest potential. If our life is not operating at maximum potential and fulfilling our personal standards and expectations then maybe we can look at our belief systems and broaden or change our model of understanding.

Chapter 10 – Questions and Answers
This chapter deals with what I have found to be the most commonly asked questions since I underwent the process. I have selected from the new Prana Program book Questions and Answers that I feel are most relevant, however, I recommend that you read both The Prana Program and The Food of Gods manuals to be well informed with all of our research. The book The Law of Love (released in 2004) covers more of the journey and also for being fluid free.
Preparation, Physical Changes & Pre-programming
Q: What do you mean by “learning to listen to the voice of the body, and the need to develop a strong mind/body connection”, in preparation for The Prana Program?
A: This is one of the first requirements and it means accepting and experiencing that: - the body is perfectly capable of telling us exactly what it needs. Even if it is suffering ill health or disease, it can tell us exactly what steps we need to heal it. We can access its voice intuitively on a day-to-day basis, and also by using a system similar to kinesiology, such as the tools we offer in the Comfortable Conversion chapter.
Secondly, a strong mind/body connection means experientially understanding that every cell of the physical system is constantly attuned to our thoughts and understanding the effect this has on the body via a process of thought experimentation e.g. thought monitoring where we see the benefits of positive thinking. Both of these are important in experiencing all the benefits of The Prana Program.
Q: You also insist that people learn to hear and listen to and adopt the guidance of the Divine One Within them – their DOW – and that this is also crucial in the preparation process. Why?
A: As we are all unique, there is no one way to increase the pranic flow to experience all its benefits. Our personal field of resonance determines the cosmic particle magnetic process and this field is influenced by our environment, genetic line and also past experiences, plus the mindsets and perceptions formed by all of these. Hence the only one who has all the answers for us is our DOW as it is immortal and all knowing in nature and has no information or guidance restrictions. If we can formulate the question, the answers will come. How our body responds and what it needs to maintain perfect health and nutritional levels, in The Prana Program, can only come from this inner voice of intuition for only its intimate knowledge of our bio-system can provide all the insights and answers.
Q: You always say that a person needs to adopt certain mindsets with the prana program and engage in mind mastery, can you elaborate on this?
A: Our beliefs and self-talk constantly affect both brain and cellular operation and hence certain mental attitudes and mindsets need to be understood and adopted in order to begin to be nourished by prana. Once we understand what prana is, and how it can feed us, then we need to expect it to. For successful pranic nourishment an attitude that: “All my nourishment, all my vitamins, all my minerals, everything I need to maintain a healthy body, comes from prana” is step one.
Next an attitude that “I only eat for pleasure, not for need as prana provides all I require” is another new mindset. Both commands help to rewire the brain’s neural pathways.
Q: Can you explain what you mean by the phrase “I only eat for pleasure, not for need”?
A: Firstly as mentioned this statement begins to reprogram the neural pathways in the brain. Secondly the statement accepts the possibility thus making it more real. An earlier survey found that 73% of people who do the 21-day process eventually go back to eating while the statistics for The Food of Gods prana program are a lot less. This happens because once you know you don’t need food and have proven it by doing it then you have a choice. This is a great freedom – to not need food and to lose the attachment to it, and to randomly eat for pleasure only rather than regularly for need, which in turn has a huge impact on our consumption of global food resources.
Q: Many people say that increasing the pranic flow through their system also increases their sensitivity, often making them feel overwhelmed by denser energies in the world. Why does this occur and how can they combat this?
A: This occurs because we are in “unconscious absorption” mode, meaning we are too aware of, and sensitive to, what is around us and we allow it all to infiltrate our auric field and often drain and/or overwhelm us. Consequently we need to switch into a mindset where we only radiate rather than absorb. We do this by plugging into a limitless source of love, wisdom and power within us, and then we intentionally radiate this mix of energy through us, from the inner planes and out into the world. We can also cocoon ourselves in a field of violet light and utilize some of the bio-shield devices we share of in detail in The Food of Gods manual.
Q: How does one become a pranic nourisher and increase the pranic flow? What prerequisites are there?
A: To do this successfully an individual needs to be a tuned instrument who practices mind mastery – that is conscious re-programming for the elimination of any limiting and non-honoring beliefs. By non-honoring, I mean maintaining beliefs that do not recognize the glory of the DOW and its gift of our life. We also need to recalibrate our personal field of resonance to specific frequencies in order to attract enough cosmic particles to nourish us in a healthy way. Other prerequisites for being a pranic nourisher would simply be the heartfelt desire to be limitless and to live life to the highest maximum potential in a way that is harmonious to others.
This is about honoring ourselves enough to open-mindedly explore exciting possibilities, to be passionate about being alive, to maintain a heart filled with joy and gratitude at the gift we have been given to simultaneously create, and also witness the majesty of creation. This mindset also increases the cosmic fire aspect of cosmic particle flow. Cosmic fire is Divine Love.
For some this also means to be able to absorb all that we desire, from all dimensions, through these five physical senses. As we shared earlier, increasing the pranic flow also requires us to utilize our two more refined senses of intuition and knowing by activating and stimulating the master glands in our body that govern these – the pituitary and pineal.
Q: What specific physical changes have you personally noticed?
A: My stomach has shrunk, my metabolic rate has slowed, and until I started ‘nibbling’ – to fulfill my interest in flavor – I never got hungry. I need a lot less sleep, my mental clarity has improved, I have become more detached emotionally, and I feel very ‘light’, vaster, more multi-dimensional somehow. Sometimes – when walking – I have felt that the only reason I know I’m physical is by my footsteps and shadow but this was only in the initial stages and as time goes by we become more grounded and integrated. Some of these things may be due to the current energy influxes on the planet also affecting many. In the first few months of the transition I also experienced a little extra hair loss when washing and brushing my hair which others have also reported. This is only temporary and settles down to ‘normal’ in a month or so.
Q: You often state, that it can take a bio-system 6-9 months to adjust to the prana only nourishment aspect of the program. Why?
A: Again this depends on an individual’s calibration which we will look at in detail in the next chapter. However, my research has found that while energy levels are high, things like weight stabilization can often take between 6-9 months so we need to have patience and give the program the time it needs for fine-tuning and adjustments.
Q: So how do you sustain body weight once you are on a prana only nourishment?
A: Through re-programming the body and a strong mind/body connection, plus having trust and faith that is also based on re-education into understanding how the body operates when we increase the pranic flow and act as masters of the vehicle.
The idea that one has to lose weight and/or die, if we do not eat food, is simply that – a belief. Society tells us we need a balanced diet, vitamins etc. to be healthy and, because of their belief systems, for the general population this is true. Being sustained by prana has more to do with our spiritual journey and awakening, a consequence of such is that we can be sustained by light and love of our DOW which has the ability to manifest all that we need on all levels.
The physical body is the servant to the mental body which when aligned serves the spiritual body. By changing our beliefs and mindset we can simply program ourselves to maintain a desired weight and we will. Every cell of our body constantly hears our self-talk and if our self-talk is limiting then the cell behaves in a limiting manner.
I also recommend that people do not weigh themselves as they transition through this change, as even thoughts such as “Oh no I weigh only ____!” can upset the new programming patterns we are laying into the system.
In India today there are yogis with such command over their molecular structure that they can be buried alive for weeks at a time, or drink poison with both having no negative physical affects. They achieve this due to their high levels of self-mastery over their physical, emotional and mental systems. Studies have also researched the benefits of intention regarding placebo medicine.
Q: Post conversion, why can some people stabilize their weight quickly and others can’t?
A: Our research has shown that this depends on individual mind mastery and/or also the strength of past cellular memory influences and personal calibration levels.
Q: How come some people lose no weight when they convert to The Prana Program?
A: This is due to the fact that they are already calibrating at the level to attract the perfect flow of cosmic particles that they need to feed them and have usually been minimalistic in their physical diet before conversion, for example, one small meal a day of non-fattening type food e.g. fruit or raw vegetables combined with a mindset that all vitamins etcetera come from prana.

Q&A continued... by: Jasmuheen.
Q: What are your personal energy levels like, do you ever feel tired?
A: Rarely, of course this depends on how much I do. As my creativity levels have increased so much, I always have to be aware of balance and make sure that I spend time doing all the things that I love that keep my passion for life strong. Lack of passion for life can drain us as can choosing toxic ways of being.
Q: Do you need as much sleep?
A: As I find that my energy levels are consistently high with lack of energy being an absolute rarity, I find I can easily attend to my work/service commitments often for up to 20 hours per day before feeling any desire for sleep. One thing I have noticed is that my ability to be without sleep is dependent upon the ‘type of energy’ I am tuning to at the time. If I am ‘working’ and consciously plugged into what I call the cosmic service circuit board then I am so energized that I feel a vastly decreased need for sleep.
Q: What about physical body elimination, urination and defecation?
A: This depends on the personal program, some individuals who are nourished by prana have one small meal once a month for social reasons, others one small meal once a week, others live only on liquids which may include light soups, coffee, tea (which they transmute into a frequency beneficial for their body), others have mainly water with a fruit juice now and then for flavor. How much they ingest in addition to obtaining nourishment from prana then determines how much they will eliminate.
It also depends on if we are living in a highly polluted external environment like a busy city or if we are living in a purer atmosphere such as the beach or mountains where there is a high prana content in the air and surrounds.
It is said, via some research sources, that we can absorb up to two liters of water a day through the pores of our skin via literally drinking from the atmosphere, so even for the true breatharian who neither eats nor drinks, they still obtain external moisture in this way and will hence continue to urinate.
When I was taking a maximum of three small glasses of liquid each day I found myself eliminating fluid and approximately every three weeks what I call ‘rabbit droppings’ which for me was uncomfortable. I was intuitively advised that, as I lived in a city, pollutants and dead cells would allow this to continue. I later found that taking a small amount of prune juice once a week made this small elimination more comfortable.
Q: What role does physical exercise play in The Prana Program? Why do you always encourage people to build muscle strength?
A: Basically a strong system can attract, hold and radiate more potent frequencies. Building muscle mass aids this so I always recommend a training program that improves both strength and flexibility. Ashtanga-Yoga/weight lifting, dance or whatever else a person is drawn to. Walking in highly pranic environments such as at the beach or mountains is also beneficial.
Q: What about menstruation?
A: It is said that woman are born with a certain number of eggs for fertilization so if a body is healthy and being nourished then menstruation will continue until all eggs are released. If a woman is receiving enough prana to keep her healthy then she will continue to menstruate until it is her natural time not to.
Q: Do you take vitamins?
A: No. One of the first things I realized was that I had to let go of the idea that anything other than prana would nourish me. If I was to change my mindset and totally trust that prana alone could sustain me then I could not take vitamins as there would be no need. This was a hard one for me as having been a vegetarian for over 20 years prior to my pure prana diet conversion, I had always taken vitamins, particularly spirulina and B12. If you trust prana to sustain and regenerate the body and align to its channel so that it can, then it will.
After discovering the body’s need for good nutrition and vitamins, which is a must when we stay anchored in a brain wave pattern, it is wonderful to know that when we anchor ourselves in the Theta-Delta realm, that the body can access its nourishment differently and hence eliminate our need for vitamins and minerals through physical food or supplements. This alone is very freeing and financially beneficial as prana is free and available to all.
Q: What about if someone is on medication – is it safe for them to live on a prana only nourishment?
A: This is something that only their DOW can guide them with. Anyone doing this needs a strong mind/body connection and to trust and hear the guidance of their DOW.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge with this prana process and its aspect of no longer needing physical food?
A: For me I would have to say my challenge has been with a lingering desire for flavor and also having to deal with my blueprint of being public with this research. The physical body, due to my background, has been relatively easy to master. With my European upbringing and its social emphasis on food and sharing, dealing with the emotional attachment to food has been less easy. One only has to look at what and when people eat to see that 90% of eating is based on emotional issues, even social dining is both physically and emotionally driven.
Mastering the mental body has been the most difficult. And with any prolonged ‘fast’ the senses become enormously heightened – the sense of smell, touch, hearing, sight and taste, all of these are naturally satisfied in living, yet when one ceases to eat or taste, the sense of flavor is then ignored so this can take adjustment.
Others on this path have mixed up all sorts of flavorsome drinks to satisfy their desire for flavor. As I initially stayed mainly with water and tea and held the desire to move beyond the consciousness of food, then over time the desire for flavour variety became more of an issue for me and one I still indulge from time to time.
Q: If we choose to no longer eat and let prana nourish us, are there other ways to satisfy our desire for taste?
A: The Ayurvedic tradition offers a wonderful range of herbs and spices to totally satisfy all our taste desires, herbs which can be steeped in hot water and drunk like tea. This Vedic science of healing also links our taste buds and organs and some have begun to do further research on this connection. Also we have found that aromatherapy is a very powerful way of satisfying our sense of taste by using smell instead as many oils when smelt will alleviate an individual’s desire for flavor.
Q: How beneficial are lifestyle tools, such as meditation and gradual dietary refinement, for the conversion to a pure prana nourishment stream?
A: The greatest source of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual nourishment comes via our day-to-day lifestyle and how we choose to spend our time as we keep repeating. Creating physical health, fitness and strength depends on a number of factors and much research has already been done in this field, for example, we know that drinking pure water, eating fresh healthy food – preferably vegetarian, exercising regularly and engaging in meditation to deal with mental and emotional stress, are all extremely good for us.
We also know as metaphysicians that time spent in silence in nature and that exercising self-mastery and mind control via re and de-programming our bio-system, is also beneficial in the creation of mental and emotional health, as is the use of devotional music or chanting and mantras. Add daily selfless service and prayer and we have a basic health and happiness lifestyle recipe that will help us tune to the perfect frequency field to eventually enjoy all of The Prana Program benefits. We share of this lifestyle in detail in my book, Four Body Fitness – Biofields and Bliss (https://www.jasmuheen.com/products-page/biofield-technology/four-body-fitness-biofields-bliss/).
Q: You always say that success for a pure prana diet depends on personal resonance, what do you mean by this?
A: As mentioned already, personal resonance is a result of our lifestyles and how we choose to spend our time which influences the type of frequencies we transmit into the universal and global fields. Being in balance, being lovingly aware of self and others, living a life where we are listening to our intuitive voice, all of this affects our personal field of resonance and in turn how the universal field responds to us. The type of frequencies we transmit then determine the level of cosmic particles or chi that we can attract, hold, utilize and radiate. Thus we become a person who can feed ourselves internally by this flow and also feed the world by our Presence due to what we are radiating.
I would like to add that one of the main keys to access the Theta-Delta field of pure prana is our purity of heart. This means that our emotional field needs to pulse with the signals of sincerity, humility, surrender and compassion – things that cannot be taught except in the class called ‘life’ and via our interaction with living beings. Q: How beneficial are colonic irrigations for detoxifying the system and readying it for a pure prana diet? A: Keeping our bio-system clear of all toxicity – whether it is on physical, emotional, mental or spiritual levels is always beneficial, yet it is easier to do when we are well educated as to how to do this. If we have created high levels of toxicity due to dietary choices and attitudes then we can cleanse the system in many ways. A change in diet, using colonic irrigations to rebalance and stimulate a sluggish elimination system, as well as fasting, all of this has its place and needs to be undertaken if it feels right personally and is required by the body. Remember the body has its own voice that needs to be intuitively heard and listened to.
Q: Is it helpful to experience normal fasting before attempting a prana only regime?
A: Most definitely. Fasting and abstaining from food has many beneficial effects and with The Prana Program it not only helps in preparation, as far as detoxification goes, but also helps to decrease our emotional dependence on a variety of flavors and gives us insight into social reaction and new behavior patterns that occur when one fasts and abstains from socializing around the sharing of physical food. Fasting intermittently can also acclimatize us to social reactions and can teach us new ways of interacting socially.
Q: Does the aging process automatically stop with pranic nourishment?
A: Not necessarily as this depends on mind talk and what type of hormones our master glands are releasing as they can either produce the death hormone or life sustaining hormones. What they produce is a mirror of our beliefs.
Q: Is stopping the aging process just a matter of increasing the pranic flow?
A: No we need to also work on mental attitudes. We also need to reprogram our master gland function to change the hormonal flow through the endocrine system which is the bio-system bridge between the physical and non-physical world.
Q: How do we stop the aging process of the body?
A: Similarly to the above in the preparation for physical immortality question – with particular focus regarding self-talk and also re-programming our master glands hormone production. Many people are unaware of how much damage limiting self-talk does to the human body, and how well it responds to limitless thinking, and how beneficial commands such as, “I am younger and younger everyday” are. Again the exact tools for this are provided in The Food of Gods (https://www.jasmuheen.com/products-page/living-on-light/the-food-of-gods/) and The Law of Love e-Books (https://www.jasmuheen.com/products-page/living-on-light/the-law-of-love-its-fabulous-frequency-of-freedom/).
Q: Is the pranic nourishment that you practice based in Kriya-Yoga, as Yogananda describes in his book Autobiography of a Yogi?
A: In this work we are all tapping into the same blueprint, a matrix some call Universal Mind, which holds data like in a ‘cosmic computer bank’. I assume that Yogananda also received ‘downloads’ of information from this field as in essence we are all talking about the same thing and although one doesn’t need to do Kriya-Yoga to live on light, I personally feel that pranic breathing helps. Our work is based on the premise that even though we’re all everyday people, we’re also all divine instruments and we can consciously tune ourselves and have experiences which some people might term miraculous.
Q: How beneficial is yogic training for being a prana nourisher?
A: As Yoga has become so popular in our Western world, it is good to understand the different types of yogic practice and how they relate to pranic feeding. Firstly it is virtually impossible to provide a specific Divine Nutrition access procedure for as we keep stressing, it is all to do with our individual frequency which is determined by our past and present experiences and attitudes, and no two individuals are the same. However we can provide a selection of tools for tuning to the Divine Nutrition prana channel so that the individual can then experiment with this and yogic practice is one of these tools.

I’m about to begin my fifth week. The caloric intake is around 200-250 calories from fruit juices and vegan broth. On occasion, I had to eat solid food, i.e. tuna in a pouch which is an additional 200 calories. I just ordered sushi rice on-line for the days when I feel weak. The first couple of weeks there was a lot of weakness. The past couple of days, the weakness has returned. It may be because there’s another phase of cleansing.
Some specifics, I keep track of how long I fast. I dry fasted (no food or drink) twice for 24 hours. I fast on average about 18 hours a day.
By week two, I got radical and either tossed, donated, or shared all my food stash with the horses and chickens here where I live.
I remind myself that experimenting with breatharianism is an adventure and a journey. I get to custom design what works and remember not to compare myself to others.
As of today, my plan is to continue with the juices and broth and occasional solids until I’ve eliminated the craving for food. For the last five years, I ate vegan food and then went on to whole foods. With family and friends, I enjoy the foods that they enjoy. The same will be the case with the breatharian lifestyle.
I’ve been reading breatharian material by Prof. Hilton Hotema. He gives a new perspective from anything I’ve read on health. I’ll added snippets from the books in a post to follow.

In terms of gains and losses: I’ve lost 12.5 lbs. I now weigh what I did in my 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s. From what I understand the body reaches its natural balanced state in time.
I have a scale that measures weight, and water and fat percentages. I’ve lost 2.7 lbs of fat. I’m at 23.4%. The literature that came with the scale gives the range for a woman 55 and older (I’ll be 71 in two months) as 24% - 31%.
Based on the chart below, my body is pretty close to the athletic range. I’ve continued with walks, simple yoga stretches, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Tai Chi cane form. The first week, week and a half, I rested my body and napped when needed. I still need naps because my evening sleep is broken up. From what I’ve read, breatharians need very little sleep. My experience is I’ll wake fully rested after a couple of hours at night. I’ll get up and go back when I’m sleepy.
Re: Body Composition (https://www.unm.edu/~lkravitz/Article%20folder/underbodycomp.html):
(women are listed first)
Minimal fat weight 15 5
Most athletes 12-22 | 5-13
Optimal health 18-30 | 10-25
Optimal fitness 16-25 | 12-18
Obesity > 30 > 25
What I was surprised at was even though I’m not taking in a lot of water, my water % continues to increase. When I began it was @ 58% and now it’s 60%. I surmised from my research that muscle contains more water than fat, so if you are fasting/breatharian, i.e. burning fat, the percentage of water increases.
I’m drinking distilled water (for now.) I’ll add the information I learned about it in a post to follow.
These are a couple of snippets of info on water:
Water Ratio (https://www.discovery.com/science/How-Much-of-Your-Body-Is-Water):
1. Human babies are about 78 percent water by weight. But within a year, the water content is below 65 percent. You maintain that level of moisture throughout your childhood.
Around puberty, when noticeable sex differences take the stage, the water levels in boys and girls start to differ. That's thanks to two things: muscle contains more water than fat, and women have more body fat than men. As a result, teenage boys' bodies are about 60 percent water, while teenage girls' bodies are drier at about 55 percent. By adulthood, men are around 60 percent water while women average around 50 percent. After 50, your body is sapped even more, with men at around 55 percent water and women at 47 percent.
2. The ideal percentage for adult women (https://tanita.eu/help-guides/understanding-your-measurements/body-water/) will fluctuate between 45 and 60%, while the ideal percentage for adult men will be between 50 and 65% of the total body. For the real athletic body types it is even recommended to have 5% more body water than the average adult range.
Body water is the primary building block for cells. It helps to regulate the internal body temperature, strengthens your muscles and moisturizes your skin. These are just a few examples.

IS EATING NECESSARY
“Appetite comes with eating.”—F. A. Ridley.
In our work titled “THE NUTRITIONAL MYTH,” we stated that it is more difficult to explain why man should eat than to show that he should never eat. It is said by some unorthodox physiologists that man should not eat; that what he does eat does not sustain his body; that the cells of which his body is composed are self-existent and self-sustaining, as are all other objects that are composed of atoms as the body cells are; and that man should have no more need for food than a stone or a star, since these also are constituted of atoms the same as are the body cells.
Science knows that the Parent Cell begins the body and builds it by a process of cell division and subdivision. Food does not build the cell nor the body. Neither can food sustain the cell or the body.
New cells are not produced by food but by the division of pre-existent cells. The new cells replace the disintegrated cells. Modern science knows that. It knows that the new cells are not the product of food. Yet it insists that the body is nourished and sustained by what man eats.
Consistency of thought demands that we proceed in our processes in a direct line through infinite time to infinite results. If food does not produce cells, if all cells of the body are produced by the process of division and sub-division of pre-existent cells, then food does not and cannot nourish and sustain the cells. In that case the cells need no nourishment, cannot receive nor use it, and are self-existent and eternal.
If food can produce and sustain Living Cells, if unintelligent matter can produce intelligence, there is no reason why man should not progress to infinite capacity by virtue of the power residing in the food he eats.
LESS MINERALS NEEDED AFTER MATURITY
The mineralization process is quite rapid until the body attains its growth. As growth stops, less lime salts are required for the body. This means that a change should be made in what one eats and drinks.
When mineral salts enter the mature body in excess of requirements, they can no longer be used to develop and solidify the bones. Body development is done. So the excess minerals now begin to form damaging deposits in the body and its organs.
Thus the soft, pliant body of childhood becomes the hardened, stiffened body of old age. The spryness of youth becomes the slowness of decrepitude. Vitality decreases; senility comes. There is no mystery about the change.
CAUSES OF SCLEROSIS
The process of sclerosis, the condition of aging, rises from the following causes:
(1) Bad air, (2) Bad water (3) Bad food
The student knows what we mean by “bad food.” He will soon know what we mean by “bad water.” Yet the food and water we call bad are consumed by millions and considered good.
Food is third in our list, yet most authors put it first. Then they give slight notice to the second, and none to the first and leading cause.
Water plays a big part in the ossification role because so much of the body is composed of water, and because most of the water used is the kind that produces ossification. The body of the average infant is approximately 75 percent water. A man of 150 pounds in weight would weigh 50 pounds if he were well dried out.
The more highly refined a tissue is, the greater the percent of water entering into its composition. The blood is 90 percent water; some parts of the nerve system are 90 percent water, others are 85 percent, and ordinary nerve tissue is about 80 percent water.
The brain is 85 percent water, and the bones are nearly 50 percent water. People give great attention to what they eat, but little to the kind of water they drink. No matter how much city water is poisoned by political health boards, the people use it and offer no protest. It pays to keep people ignorant.
In all the fluids and tissues—blood, lymph, nerves, glands, muscles—water plays the part of a general solvent. By its work the River of Life is replenished and maintained. It is the medium in which solid and semi-solid aliments are dissolved so they can pass into the blood, and by which all excretory products are eliminated from the body. The various processes of excretion, transudation (discharge or be discharged gradually through pores in a membrane), and elimination depend on water for their performance.

IMPORTANCE OF WATER
In the physiology of respiration, water and air unite, and water fulfills its biological function in the form of vapor mixed with the atmosphere. The importance of its needs in living organisms appears in the fact that water occupies four-fifths of the earth’s surface.
The dual elements of water and air in combination in the atmosphere assure the supply of the total needs of man’s vitality. They do so in three principal ways:
1. With the aid of the sun, which vaporizes the water of the earth, causing the water particles to unite with the atmospheric properties of the air so as to serve in the physiological process of respiration.
2. By haematosis, i.e. aeration of the blood in the lungs in the function of respiration.
3. By supplying the body with the sustaining properties of oxygen and nitrogen in the air, and the oxygen and hydrogen in the water vapor.
To this list there must be added the emanations radiating from the sun’s effluvia, which is condensed by the water vapor during its time in the atmosphere. This sun-filled vapor, inhaled by man, becomes an accumulator of the power of the sun within the body.
Water deprived of sunlight is termed dead, and incapable of transfusing the least vitality into the organism. Such is the case with water from wells, closed cisterns and distilled water. Water should be exposed to the air and sunlight for some time before used, so it may be regenerated with the vitality of the sun and air. But this does not apply to water contained in coconuts, melons, berries, fruits and vegetables.
The living cell is the basis and foundation of our body. The cell can function on the life level only in an auriferous (containing/producing gold) environment. If the cells are deprived of water, they become dry, inert and fall below the life plane in function. They are called dead.
There is no sign of living things, plant or animal, in deserts where perpetual dryness of the air prevails. Living forms cannot come into physical being where there is no water.
Much care should be exercised as to the kind of water one takes into the body. One kind hardens blood vessels, tissues and glands, and produces stones in kidneys and gall bladder. Another kind of water dissolves and washes from the body the mineral deposits that produce these conditions.
Most water used in general is what we call “hard.” It is water in which quantities of lime and other minerals are held in solution.
Spring water, well water, water that comes out of the ground, is charged with lime and minerals in solution. Hence, such water is “hard.” Water from certain wells, springs, and lakes is often called “soft.” It is soft only in comparison with water that is harder.
Dr. G. A. Dorsey wrote: “Each year the earth’s rivers carry to the sea billions of tons of dissolved minerals and carbon compounds.”
LIME DEPOSITS CAUSE STIFF JOINTS
If any joint is held in one position long enough, without movement, it will grow stiff because of liquid lime deposited around the joint. The only remedy is movement of the joint and the use of distilled water, or the juice of oranges or grapefruit, to dissolve the lime so it may be washed out and eliminated.
RAIN WATER AND DISTILLED WATER ARE SAFE
Rain water has been distilled by the sun. It is free of all minerals. But when it falls as rain, it may pass through air filled with tiny animals, dust, smoke, soot, acids and all kinds of filth. As it reaches the earth in such cases it is so saturated with the filth of civilization, that its color is a very light straw. As the rain continues to fall, the air soon becomes washed of the filth, and the water grows clear and clean. That is the water one should use.
Distilled water is water that has been transformed to vapor and condensed. It is free of minerals and the only water, except rain water, fit to use. Such water may be boiled in the same kettle for years and will leave no deposits on the kettle’s walls.
Distilled water is the greatest solvent known. It is the only water, except clean rain water, that may be taken into the body without damage to cells and tissues. By its continued use, it is possible to dissolve mineral deposits, acid crystals, and other hardening deposits in the body.
Captain Diamond, mentioned in Lesson No. 16, got relief from his stiffened state by the use of fresh fruit juices and distilled water. As these are not “medicines,” they are not usually used.
As distilled water is such a powerful solvent, it is bad for the teeth because it leeches out their minerals. The same is true, to a lesser extent, of acid juices such as those of oranges and grapefruit.
Distilled water passes directly into the blood and the solvent properties of the blood are increased by the distilled water to a degree that the blood will keep in solution the mineral salts already in it, and prevent their harmful deposition in organs and glands, and favor their elimination by the different excreta.
If distilled water be taken in large quantities, or if it be the only liquid one takes into the body, it will in time tend to dissolve and remove those earthy compounds that have accumulated in the system, the effects of which usually become more manifest at the ages of 40 and 50.
The daily use of distilled water facilitates the removal of deleterious compounds from the body by means of the excreta, and therefore tends to prolong life.
No water is so good for the body as the distilled water contained in coconuts, melons, berries and fruits. From this source one should obtain all the fluid the body needs, and plain distilled water should not be used unless one believes it is necessary to dissolve tumors and hardening deposits in the body.
People living in limestone localities who use water from wells, springs, creeks, lakes, are invariably afflicted at a comparatively early age with a general ossification of the whole body. Instances of longevity among such are rare. As we eat to live and eat to die, so we drink to live and drink to die.

FRESH FRUIT
So long as man must eat, the best food is fresh fruits, berries and melons. These contain fluid of the best and purest kind, distilled by natural processes. Some of these fruit juices are a wonderful solvent, opening the way into capillaries already clogged and hardened, provided the process has not gone too far.
One author says that with a course of fresh grape juice, people with sunken eyes, wrinkled skin and poor complexion have made surprising improvement in recovering a younger appearance.
http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/red-line.gif
Evans gives over twenty pages of tables of the analysis of foods, which show that fruits and nuts have the least proportion of earthy matter, as compared with their nourishing properties, of any of the foods now used by man. Next in order are animal foods, then come vegetables, and last are the pulses and cereals, which are shown to have the largest amount of earthy matter. Evans then observes, “From the foregoing analysis we see that fruits, as distinct from vegetables, have the least amount of earthy matter. Most of them contain a large amount of water, but that water in itself is the purest kind—a distilled water of Nature (i.e. sun and rain; distilled by natural processes.).”
Evans filled many pages to show that food hardens and clogs the tissues and blood vessels, causing decrepitude and death. That is excellent evidence to prove that eating is not natural. If we grow decrepit and die because of something we do, then we should not do that thing.

CEREALS ARE A BAD FOOD
A German physician of note, Dr. Winckler, after enthusiastically adopting a vegetarian diet, was horrified to find in time that his blood vessels showed signs of cretaceous degeneration. With natural solicitude he applied himself to a solution of the phenomenon.
He said he found the explanation in a work by Dr. Monin, of Paris, who, in turn, had been directed to the explanation of atheroma (arteriosclerosis, hardening of the arteries) by Professor Gubler, of Paris.
The substance of the explanation was, that the mineral salts in the vegetables and the salt and seasonings used on the vegetables to make them palatable, are bad not only for their early effect on the body, but also because they induce the desire for, and the practice of taking, other and stronger stimulants.
In our work, “SCIENTIFIC LIVING,” we mentioned the case of Captain Diamond who, as a vegetarian for 30 years, proved on himself that vegetables are not the panacea they are believed by many to be. His diet as a vegetarian consisted of grains, cereal products, tubers and green vegetables. At 79 he was a chronic invalid, suffering from a serious state of hardened tissues and blood-vessels, with stiffness of the joints.
The muscles of his legs and back were so stiff that he could not sit down nor rise from a chair without great discomfort, and he often needed the aid of an assistant. The tissues of his hands and arms were so stiff that it was hard for him to hold his knife and fork to feed himself.
Orthodox doctors were unable to help him and pronounced him incurable. They told him that he could not live long. He turned to Nature, became a fruitarian, and recovered health sufficiently to outlive all the doctors who gave him up, dying at the age of 120.
Diamond’s and other cases of vegetarians supply data showing that vegetarianism is not what it is supposed to be. Grains and tubers contain large quantities of mineral salts that harden and stiffen the tissues, blood-vessels and joints, “and as a class are the worst adapted as food for man.” Dr. Rowbotham adduced proof in his work published in 1841, showing that “cereal foods tend to ossification of tissues and joints, and produce decrepitude and early death” (Natural Food of Man, P. 390).

“The Facts of Nutrition,” by: Prof. Hilton Hotema
MEAT - REASON FOR INCREASED VITALITY
Now for some facts concealed by the authors who favor Carnivorism and believe that a diet of fish, flesh and milk is responsible for the remarkable longevity of those who subsist on these substances.
Animal food possesses a greater proportion of stimulating power to its quantity of nutriment natter than vegetables and. cereals. For that reason it accelerates all the functions of the system, rendering vital changes quicker and less complete, and the general result of the vital economy less perfect.
Moore demonstrated at the Harvard Laboratories of Physiology that a diet of flesh produces acceleration of heart action that is surprising in its magnitude and duration.
After a meal of meat, the increase in heart rate regularly amounts to 25 to 50 per cent rise above the fasting level and persists, in experimental subjects, far 15 to 20 hours, to reach a total of many thousands of extra heart beats.
As the heart beats, in harmony with the blood flow, this shows how much faster a stimulating flesh diet makes the blood move and the body organs work, as their work keeps pace with the blood stream.
The findings of Moore were confirmed by Dr. Arthur Hunter, actuary of the New York Life Insurance Company. His investigation showed that flesh eating quickens body function, heart action, and raises blood pressure.
It requires the presence of internal poisons to cause the body functions to quicken in this manner.
The stimulating effect that appears to result from flesh rises from the rapid decay, of the flesh. The flesh decaying in the digestive tract forms some of the most deadly poisons known to chemists. The body intelligence senses the danger and knows the poisons must be eliminated quickly to minimize the damage to the tissues and organs. So the speed of all functions is increased to cast out the dangerous enemy as soon as possible.
We now meet another paradox. The quickened functions make the man feel, stronger, and he gives credit for it to the flesh he ate. He is right, but how ignorant he is of the price he pays for the temporary increase of vitality.
There is no law of organic life, extending over the whole animal and vegetal kingdom, more general, and more certain than this: The slower the growth of organic bodies, consistently with the healthy and vigorous condition and action of the vital powers, the more complete are the vital processes, and the more perfect and symmetrical is the general development.
In the vital economy of the human body, all the changes concerned in the development and maintenance of the system are the most, healthfully slow and complete when the food consists of fruits.
It follows from every known physiological principle in the human constitution that—all other things being equal—a diet of fruit is most conducive to the completeness of bodily development and perfectness of symmetry and beauty.

RunningDeer and all/
Im amazed at this post, its info and those who pursue it. Seems amazing to me and it proves how much we are capable of as humans.
There are a number of reasons to choose a path, be it a profession, a hobby , a calling , a necessity, and so on. None in my mind any more important than the other, be it a game of golf, football, investment, social work, having children whatever. We assign importance to it all .
So we choose a mountain to climb , and we attempt to climb it.
If its longevity we are after, I can site 100 year old plus people that got they're eating meat and drinking whisky. I can site vegetarians who died by 40 on a clean diet. What was the result desired? If it was a peaceful centered life, then perhaps the vegetarian accomplished it, but perhaps not? If it was longevity , the meat eating drinker may have done so , and blissfully peaceful as well . lol
We are all talking about a paradigm within our physical 3 d world that we all presently know and live. But most of us know this is an illusion, and we will leave the body behind.
In reading NDExperiences, the takeaway seems to be we are here to experience. No value applied. So all our better and worse, winner and loser, right and wrong, applications don't seem to matter.
If we had a life map or plan, like a map and an then an exam to be judged by, then it would be spelled out. We would then all understand the game, its end and how to win.
So I guess Im asking, what about enjoying ourselves while alive? What about happiness, having a good time? Is it to be avoided, to be scorned upon? To feel guilty about?
I'm a person of moderation. I basically treat others as I want to be treated. I wish everyone a happy peaceful life and hope whatever you do, it brings you that.
But when I eat, I enjoy it. A glass of wine, I enjoy it. It all divides my day in to altered section, to pass the manatomy of repetition.
Anyhow, thanks for listening, it all just came to me in one shot, hope I didn't derail the topic.
Running Dear, love to hear why you are doing so? What would be the top of the mountian? You have my respect.

“Man’s Higher Consciousness”, by: Prof. Hilton Hotema
CHRONIC AUTO-INTOXICATION
We found that a vegetarian diet causes cretaceous degeneration, atheroma (fatty degeneration of the inner coat of the arteries), arteriosclerosis, hardening of the blood-vessels, ossification into a bony substance) of the tissues and joints, and premature decrepitude or aging.
Furthermore, alcohol is made of grain; and the production of alcohol is in constant operation in the bodies of those who eat grains and cereal products.
These vegetarians are always in an auto-intoxicated state, to which their bodies have become so completely adjusted, that when the toxic effect begins to fade, an uncomfortable feeling appears in the sensations of hunger, weakness, nervousness, headache, etc.
The doctors warn these people to be regular in their eating habits. That keeps the body in its chronically intoxicated state, the condition to which it has become adapted. So they feel better and regard the doctor as a wise man.
The condition is similar to that of the chronic drunkard sobering up. He is weak, nervous, has headache. These symptoms simply show that the body is calling for more liquor to keep it in the semi-paralyzed, auto-intoxicated condition to which it has become adapted.
The more tobacco or liquor one uses, the more the body craves it. The more food one eats the more the body craves it. The more flesh and cereals one eats, the more the body craves them. The basic cause is the same. In each case the craving shows that the body has adapted itself to these damaging poisons.
The flesh-eating man is in a steady state of mild irritation, or auto-intoxication, rising from the excessive stimulation caused by the decaying flesh food in his stomach, bowels and blood.
Just as in the case of the flesh-eater, the vegetarian has eaten his diet from childhood, and the condition of auto-intoxication is deep-seated and chronic. The victim’s body and organs are adjusted to it.
Another reason why man feels hungry is because flesh protein starts to putrefy as soon as eaten, and the sensation of hunger results from the toxic condition that rises. He eats bread, and this starchy product ferments in the intestines, producing alcohol and acids that temporarily dull the putrefactive bacteria that work on the protein remnants of the flesh formerly eaten, thus suppressing the effect of auto-intoxication, and the fatigue produced by the auto-intoxication temporarily subsides.
VEGETARIAN
The Vegetarian has grown vain in his conceit. He has discarded animal products and feels that he has found dietetic perfection in vegetables, grains, cereals, legumes and tubers. Scientific investigation and his own deficient physical and mental condition prove that he is no better off than his flesh-eating friends.
Unbiased investigation shows that the modern Vegetarian is traveling the wrong trail. The things he eats are not natural products, nor the natural food of man. They are definitely artificial.
1. Grains and cereals have been developed from insignificant grass seeds. By long ages of seed selection, careful breeding, intensive cultivation and constant fertilization, small grass seeds were developed by this artificial process into the modern grains and cereals.
2. Beans, peas, lentils, cabbage, lettuce, celery, etc., were developed in the same way from the grass family.
3. Tubers, which include potatoes, onions, carrots, turnips, beets, radishes, etc., are nothing more than wild weed roots, developed by the artificial process above described.
Years ago Knight, in his “Vegetable Food of Man, asserted that grains and cereals have been developed from insignificant grass seeds now unknown to botany. Dr. Emmet Densmore, in his “Natural Food of Man,” wrote:
“Grains are the product of the temperate zone, not of those regions where there is no winter; and it was therefore a necessity of man’s sustenance when he was without agriculture, without tools, and without fire, and had to depend upon foods spontaneously produced by Nature, that he live in a region where foods were produced at all seasons of the year. This narrows or confines the inquiry of natural food to two articles—fruits and nuts” (P. 224).
Vegetarians hate to hear their diet criticized, and most of them refuse to read or believe anything that is not favorable to vegetarianism.
C. C. Hibbs, D.D.S., wrote an excellent article on Dental Decay, in which he said:
“Grains are responsible for nearly all of man’s disease, for wheat, barley, oats and rye are no more a part of his food than oranges the food of the cow, or grains the food of dogs and cats.
“Man’s food consists of the fruits and nuts of the tree. They are beautifully wrapped and hung on trees where the common herd cannot get to them. Man is given hands with which to remove this food and its wrappings, and eat to his content and perfect health.”
“Eliminate grains from man’s food and the decay in children’s teeth will cease. Tarter and pyorrhea (inflammation of the tissue around the teeth, often causing shrinkage of the gums and loosening of the teeth) will disappear. The hospitals will fold up, and medicine will be a dream. All the doctors on earth and their ‘vast’ medical experience cannot disprove this statement.
“The medical profession dare not take a group of children and feed them according to Nature’s law for a period of six months, and then truly publish the results” (You Can’t Eat That).

Thanks, Doug. http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/wave-hi.gif
Why am I experimenting with breatharianism? What would be the top of the mountain? Every time I arrived at the top of the mountain, another adventure comes along.
There are different levels of why. One is curiosity. Another is if the food supply changes or becomes more toxic than it already is, the kitchen is closed to the unseen that feed on fear.
Sometimes, the motivation for something comes from someone or something that says “My way, or the highway”.
The day before my 18th birthday, I filled a paper bag with clothes and some books and hitch hiked to the next state over. I had my own apartment and worked a 3rd shift job in a rubber mill. That fall I registered for my last year of high school and found a 2nd shift job at a textile mill. I graduated with honors the following spring.
Growing up, I had the opportunity to operate heavy equipment (crane and payloader backhoe), experimented with welding, handled dynamite, sweat copper pipe, helped build the family home from foundation up, did tune ups on my Volvo, i.e. plugs, point and condenser, changed the brakes on my VW bug, changed the filter and oil on my cars. I use to sew my own clothes. I put myself through college. And my son and I survived an apartment fire the last semester of college.
I’ve participated in the fire walk, traveled across country and also to Europe and lived in Venice, Italy, participated in martial arts and weapons competitions which was travel of a different kind. I’ve done two outward bounds, one in Taos, NM and the other in Kiental, Switzerland. And the biggest was I survived the death of my son.
Now it’s time for a deeper dive. An inward journey. Breatharianism may be part of it. I won’t know until I try it.
Life is experimentation.
P.S. I left out a whole lot because frankly it's coming across like a brag or a huge lie for those that never had the chance to be in the right place, at the right time or grow up in a family that believed, quote - nothing is impossible.

“Man’s Higher Consciousness”, by: Prof. Hilton Hotema
ALIMENTATION AND DECREPITUDE
Parallax in his “Patriarchial Longevity,” Easton and Bailey in their “Records of Longevity,” Hufeland in his “Art of Prolonging Life,” and Evans in his “How to Prolong Life,” all substantially agree that the CAUSE of decrepitude, called Old Age, is not the work of Time, but the result of ossification and the deposition of calcareous earthy matter in the body—and it comes from what man eats, drinks and breathes.
What are the causes of the difference between youth and old age? Why do the functions of the body weaken and the organs deteriorate? Why does man become decrepit and die?
In Old Age there is a fibrinous, gelatinous and earthy deposit in the body. The solid earthy matter which, by gradual accumulation in the body, brings on ossification, rigidity, decrepitude and death, is composed chiefly of phosphate of lime, carbonate of lime, and sulphate of lime, with magnesia and traces of other earthy substances.
A process of solidification begins as soon as the infant begins to eat and continues without interruption until the body is changed from a comparatively fluid, elastic, and energetic state, to a solid, earthy, rigid, weakened condition, which terminates in death.
Infancy, childhood, youth, manhood and decrepitude are so many different conditions of the body, or stages in the process of solidification or ossification. The only difference in the body between youth and Old Age, is the greater density and rigidity, and the greater proportion of calcareous earthy matter that enters into its composition.
EARTHY SALTS CAUSE OLD AGE
Common table salt, so freely used in the preparation of almost every kind of food, contains a very large amount of calcareous earthy matter; and produces great damage to the body economy.
The theory is that the gradual accumulation of earthy salts in the system is the result of Old Age. Investigation shows that it is just the reverse. It is the cause of Old Age.
If the number of years man lives causes the ossification that accompanies Old Age, then, as like causes produce like effects, all of the same age should show the same state of ossification. Investigation shows this is not so. It is common to find people of 50 who are as weak and decrepit as others are at 75 and 80.
Years ago an English doctor wrote:
“Age is an evil that is not at all inevitable. It is not a question of dates and birthdays, but a matter of natural tendencies and dispositions. The age of the body is irrelevant so long as its condition remains young. Youth is not a time of life, but a quality, a trait of character, a mental and physical state.”
In youth, the organs and structures are elastic, pliable, and yielding; the senses are keen, the mind active. In Old Age these qualities are usurped by rigidity, ossification. The senses are lacking in susceptibility, the mind in memory.
In Old Age the arteries have thickened the walls and are smaller in caliber, caused by fibrinous, gelatinous and earthy deposits. Thus the blood supply to the organs grows less and less, hence their deterioration and the failing of their functions.
Hardening and thickening of the blood vessels is not the work of Time, but of the earthy matter deposited by the blood—and the condition increases year by year, unless one changes one’s habits.
Analysis shows that the blood holds in solution the earthy salts, the calcareous and osseous substances of the same kind as the solidifying agents, and arterial blood contains more than venous. This shows that each cycle of the blood leaves deposits of these damaging agents. It is the common carrier that clogs the system. But its supply must be replenished. Whence comes the new supply? From air, food and drink, from drugs and medicines. There is no other source.
TABLE SALT
Common table salt is a compound of sodium and chloride, a mineral in inorganic form that cannot be used by the animal body. It enters the body as salt and leaves it as salt.
Salt is a deadly irritant to all the tissues of the body. Put some salt in your eye and feel the distressing effect.
Salt in food irritates the membrane of the stomach, and for protection, mucus is excreted by the cells. The salt passes to the bowels, the membrane of which pours out more mucus for protection, in time a catarrhal (inflammation of a mucous membrane) condition results.
Any substance that irritates the body cells, causes the mucus membrane to excrete mucus for protection, and creates a catarrhal condition in time, no matter whether it be salt, polluted air, pepper, vinegar, spices or any other irritating substance.
Salt irritates the cells and they call for water to allay (subdue or reduce in intensity or severity) the irritation. This creates abnormal thirst and results in a water-logged body.
As the salt irritates the cells year after year, the cells and tissues harden, the blood vessels harden, the blood pressure rises, with its train of troubles.
Some of the salt is filtered from the blood by the kidneys, and in time the irritation of the salt creates a condition in the kidneys termed Bright’s disease.
Haig proved that salt impedes the elimination of uric acid, which thus paves the way for gout, sciatica (pain along the course of a sciatic nerve especially in the back of the thigh broadly : pain in the lower back, buttocks, hips, or adjacent parts), rheumatism, lumbago—all symptoms arising from the use of salt and treated as “diseases.”
As you get older the flavor of food changes because the use of salt, spices and condiments has dulled the delicate taste buds of the tongue and weakened your sense of taste. Salt eaters say unsalted food tastes “flat.” It depends on what one is used to.
No carnivorous animal in its native state uses salt, except as an acquired habit. Animals form bad habits as man does.
OPINIONS ON SALT EATING
Dr. Bouchon observed: “Salt is one of the worst of social poisons. Because of its use, surgeons are constantly operating for appendicitis, gastric ulcers, and liver and kidney calculus. It atrophies, dries up or hardens the tissues, and causes persons with tendencies to arthritism to become stout, and those of lymphatic temperaments to become thin.”—Nouville Review.
One eminent author states: “Wild boars and other mammals exceed the age of 200 years because they instinctively follow a natural diet. It is only man who eats everything indiscriminately. He arranges his meals by the clock (due to the artificial life he lives), and so his hunger is only a matter of habit and not natural hunger”—Cosmotherapy, P. 280.

Re-add: “Man’s Higher Consciousness”, by: Prof. Hilton Hotema: Here’s a free pdf & epub (https://www.pdfdrive.com/mans-higher-consciousness-d176034314.html). I skimmed the pdf and decided to download the $4.99 Kindle edition. It’s so chock full of info that I purchased the hard copy (https://www.amazon.com/Higher-Consciousness-Prof-Hilton-Hotema-ebook/dp/B01AYP66SK/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1620604312&sr=8-2). There’s also a paperback edition.
BODY NEVER MORE THAN SEVEN YEARS OLD
The body is incessantly renewing itself from the softest tissue to the hardest bone, and this process of renewal, according to physiologists, gives man a new body every seven years. In other words, the body is never more than seven years old no matter how many times the earth turns on its axis for a certain individual.
No “periodical rejuvenation” is needed for such a body unless bad habits and bad environment have plunged it into degeneracy and decrepitude.
Most centenarians on earth now live far from the polluted centers of civilization and industrialism. They are usually people of little means, of humble circumstances, who have been forced to lead a simple life and subsist on common, natural foods.
Poverty is not the cause of sickness and short life, except insofar as it compels one to toil for a living in sweat-shops, filthy industrial plants, and stuffy offices filled with tobacco smoke and stagnant air.
Poverty enforces sobriety, frugality and the simple life of Nature. This course conserves the body and prevents its vital channels from being clogged by excessive eating of denatured foods.
Professor Huxley fed worms as they usually eat, except one, which he fed the same, but occasionally fasted it. That worm was living and vigorous after nineteen generations of its relatives had been born, lived their regular time, and died. If that were done in the case of man, he would live approximately 2000 years.

“The Facts of Nutrition,” Prof. Hilton Hotema
THE MYTH OF NUTRITION
The modern scientific theory, of body nourishment is a myth.
The modern world has no science of man. What passes as such is gross speculation.
The billions of cells forming the body are tiny suns and stars, composed of the same cosmic substance and governed by the same cosmic law.
A droplet of water forms a tiny microcosm containing, in a state of extreme dilution, a great variety of cosmic chemical elements. The body cell is practically a duplicate of a droplet of water, but raised to the high plane of divine animation.
Science shows that the cell is constituted of molecules, composed of atoms which are composed of electrons, and electrons are said to be whirling centers of force, endowed with eternalism. If that be true, as electrons eat no food, why should man?
The Primary Cell, not food, begins the building of the form of man. His body and organs are not built, of food, but of cells produced by the division and subdivision of the trillions of cells that all cane from that one Primary Cell. By the division of the pre-existing cells into two equal parts, the cells increase in number, and every part possesses similar properties.
Each cell has a definite life-history. It develops, performs its allotted work, and ceases to exist (1) either by dividing to form two new cells, or (2) by disintegrating and leaving the body as waste, being eliminated as gases and fluids. The cell-waste never leaves the body through the bowels as feces.
The process of cell division is rapid in growing children, to supply the cells necessary to enable the organism to develop. Growth stops at maturity because the process of cell division decreases. Then comes the time when the effects of bad environment and bad habits sooner or later begin to appear, and decay sets in, with somatic dissolution as the end of the body.
Physical science says that is the end of man. He is only a material form; and when the form ceases its function, his end has come.
If the cells depend on food and drink, as physical science claims, man should continue to grow and live as long as he had sufficient food and drink.
The vitality of the organism depends not on food and drink, for experience teaches athletes to go into action with empty stomachs.
That fact opened the eyes of Dr. Dewey and prompted him to write: “From the morning of medical history, the question of how vital energy is supported in time of sickness has never, been considered, for there has never been any doubt in the medical mind as to that support coming from food (p. 40).
Physiologists find in tests on animals that feasting is more dangerous Physiologists find in tests on animals that feasting is more dangerous than fasting. They found that life lengthens when animals are subjected to certain periods of fasting. By the process of fasting and a frugal diet, they kept alive for three years worms that die in three or four weeks when well fed.
Professor Huxley, son of the elder Huxley, fed a family of earth worms as they usually eat, except one, which he isolated and fed the same way, but occasionally fasted it. That worm, alternately fed and fasted, was alive and vigorous after nineteen generations of its relatives had been born, lived their regular time, and died. He sought to explain the secret by saying that heavy eating clogs the life channels and so hastens death.
Applying Huxley’s rule to man with similar results, instead of his dying at 100 and his friends thinking he had lived long, he would live almost 2,000 years. But “medical science” regards as fabulous the biblical account that Methuselah lived 969 years.
In his book, Man The Unknown, Carrel wrote:
“In primitive life, when men were healthy and lived long, they were subjected to long periods of fasting. When want did not compel than to fast, they voluntarily deprived themselves of food. All religions have insisted on the necessity of fasting. Fasting purifies and profoundly modifies and improves our tissues (p. 229).
“Life lengthens if animals are subjected to fasting during certain fixed periods. Man’s longevity could probably be increased by analogous or other procedures, (p. 180).
“Life shortens because the body cells are not completely freed of waste products by the bloodstream. If the volume of the body fluids were much greater, and the elimination of waste products more complete, human life would last longer.” (p. 180).
The answer to these apparent defects is to eat less and drink more. Frequent feeding fills the body with dangerous waste products. Frugal feeding reduces them, and drinking freely helps the body to eliminate them. The fluid one drinks should be pure rain water and fruit juices.
We can train ourselves to do with less food. Adaptation of animals to hunger is easily noticeable. The cattle on the Arizona desert live healthy and long on far less food than those in lush pastures. And, vice versa, we can more easily train ourselves to require more food than the body can use. By frequent eating and eating to excess, we develop habit hunger, a bad condition that clogs the body with waste and hastens death.
Lots of examples provided...to many to list.
This is proof that dietetic experts don’t know their subject. It shows they are all wrong in their theory that man must eat this for protein, that for mineral salts, something else for vitamins, and so on. In a word, they knew nothing about diet.
In 1949 we received a report from a lady in England who said she had discovered how to grow young. Her secret is to dispense with all food. She has lived for years on liquids and takes nothing for two months at a time while climbing mountains for exercise.
It is her opinion that the whole food problem is an illusion. She believes that she gets direct from the air and sunshine all the minerals her body needs.
One case is enough to prove what is possible in a million other cases. Biologists are being convinced that eating is an acquired habit and a pleasurable indulgence rather than a physiological necessity. It is said that in India certain sects of yogis live without eating and that in the Himalayas there are many who consume no physical food.
As sunshine, air, soil and water do nothing none than stimulate the inherent functions innate in the cells of the tree, so what man consumes does nothing more than help to stimulate the cells of his body into their requisite functions.

WHY WE LIVE AND WHY WE DIE
Scientific investigation shows that—
“We breathe to live and we breathe to die, We drink to live and we drink to die, We eat to live and we eat to die.”
In this work it is sought to show how to take DEATH out of Breathing, Drinking and Eating, so man may live 250 to 300 years—
As Dr. Robert McCarrison, of the British Army Medical Service in India, reported of a colony of people he found living in a certain Himalayan region, who were active and vigorous, yet so old in years that he was astounded and could not believe their records were correct. But he found no error in their way of keeping time. He said:
“Men well over 200 years of age were working in the fields with much younger men, doing as much work, and looking so much like the younger men, that I was unable to distinguish the old from the young.” —K. L. Coe in Correct Eating & Strength, March, 1931.
INTRODUCTION
The living cell is animatized by Cosmic Force and Intelligentized by Cosmic Consciousness. The human body is a mass of trillions of cells, guided by Infinite Intelligence.
Each cell is a mass of millions of atoms, each of which is a miniature solar system, with “planets” in the form of tiny electrons whirling at tremendous speed around a common center of attraction.
The solar system has no use for food. The electrons do not eat. The atoms do not eat. The cells do not eat. Why should man eat? The Parent Cell begins the body of man and expresses expresses the uncanny intelligence which it inherits from the Cosmic Principle of Creation. This cell does not come from food, and does not depend on food. The body is not the product of food, and should not depend on food.
Food cannot sustain what it cannot produce. As the body is not the product of food, it is actually not sustained by food.
Infinite Intelligence works in the cell, from the Parent Cell on through the entire existence of the body. Being directed by Infinite Intelligence, the cells know spontaneously the functions they are to perform in the construction and maintenance of the body.
The innate intelligence of the part the Cells must play in the whole body is a mode of being of all the elements of the body, These elements know their work, and can receive no aid from human hands.
The body cells are seen to understand numerology, geometry, physiology and biology, and act conceitedly for the good of the whole. The spontaneous tendency of the cells toward the formation of the organs of the body is a primary datum of observation.
The body, from the Parent Cell on, is built by techniques and directed by Intelligence entirely foreign to the best scientific minds. From the Parent Cell, composed of invisible atoms, and out of the invisible Essence of the Universe in the Infinite Air which contains ALL in itself, the body and its organs come into being by the work of cells endowed with Infinite Intelligence.
The cells prove by their work that they possess a prevision of the future structure and its purpose, and they synthetize from the atomic substance that appears to be contained in the plasma, not only the building material, but also the builders.
The trillions of cells forming the body are tiny suns and stars, composed of the same cosmic essence and governed by the same cosmic law.
A droplet of water forms a tiny microcosm containing a great variety of cosmic chemical elements. The body cell is practically a duplicate of a water droplet, but raised to the high plane of divine animation. If the cells depend on food and drink, man should continue to grow and live as long as he had sufficient food and drink.
According to the press of May 27th, 1937, Srimati Bala, of Bankura, India, age 68 had taken no food nor water since she was 12. The account said “She is always gay and looks like a child.”
What is possible in one case is possible in millions of other cases. Abbe N. Montfaucon De Villars stated in his book that the Ancient Masters ate food only for pleasure and never of necessity (Compte De Gabalis).
MAN EATS TO DIE
The world is flooded with books on food and feeding. No one seems to realize that eating is not natural, but an acquired habit, like smoking and drinking, and that Air is the Cosmic Reservoir of all things, including the substance that builds and sustains the human body.
Science shows that the body is built of cells, which are composed of molecules, which are composed of atoms, which are composed of electrons, which are nothing more than whirling centers of force in the ether.
Electrons do not eat, atoms do not eat, molecules do not eat, cells do not eat, and the body is built of and sustained by the cells, and not what man eats.
More proof that eating is not only a habit but a bad one, appears in the fact that a sick man often begins at once to recover when given no food, and even shows signs of growing younger.
This could not be, and it would be dangerous for one to fast, if eating were natural and food were needed to sustain the body. Why does man seem to starve to death when deprived of food? That riddle “MAN’S MIRACULOUS UNUSED POWERS” considers.
For more than half a century the author read books on food and feeding, and closely followed the arguments and explanations. He found those who favored Vegetarianism omitted all the bad features, and the same course was pursued by those who favored Carnivorism.
Books favoring Vegetarianism say nothing of the damaging qualities of vegetables and cereals. Those favoring Carnivorism carefully omit the damaging properties of flesh.
These authors lead their readers astray with half-truths. A half-truth is more dangerous than a lie, as it is more misleading.
The author describes the damaging qualities of all foods, and favors none. What he shows will shock the reader and show him why that group of eminent doctors in the 19th century, after studying the food question from every angle, concluded with this astounding statement:
“We eat to live, and we eat to die.”
Why is it possible that we eat to live and eat to die? If we eat to live, how can we eat to die? If we eat to die, how can we eat to live?
In this work these puzzling questions are considered and answered.
LESSON NO. 1—PHYSICAL PERFECTION
Physical Perfection would be Physical Immortality; and Herbert Spencer formulated the Law of Physical Immortality as follows to-wit:
“Perfect correspondence would be perfect life. Were there no changes in the Environment but such as the organism had adapted changes to meet, and were it never to fail in the efficiency with which it met them, there would be Eternal Existence and Eternal Knowledge” (First Principles).
Breatharianism is Physical Perfection. Man came into physical existence a Perfect Breatharian. Breatharian. God breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life, and man became a living entity (Gen. 2:7). Nothing was lacking, and nothing more was needed.
The Breath of Life supplied all the requirements of animation. The Breatharian needs air only, and nothing more, to sustain his body. In that state of Physical Perfection man has no other wants. The less man needs the more he becomes like gods, who use nothing and are immortal[/I]—said the Ancient Masters.
Poverty, Want and Sickness are the work of man. They are the products of his habits which correspond with his desires. He increases his burdens as he multiplies his wants.
The less man needs the more complete he becomes. He gains Perfection as he gains freedom from all Wants. The more Wants he has, the less complete he is, and the farther he inclines from Perfection. He changes his world as he changes himself.
BREATH OF LIFE
“Every living thing must breathe the air in order to live. The tree breathes the air through its leaves. The leaves are in this sense the lungs of the tree. Insects breathe the air through tiny openings in their bodies. Frogs breathe the air partly through the skin. Fishes breathe the air by taking oxygen out of the water as it passes over their gills. Man breathes the air through the air cells of the lungs.”—Frederick M. Rossiter, B.S., M.D., L.C.R.P., London.
“Hardly anyone understands this science (of breathing), which all should know and practice. It is the air that renews our blood and brings life to all our organs. It is the air that helps to give us balance and to keep our physical and psychic functions in good order...Most people use only a third, a quarter or even a fifth part of the lung’s total surface.”—Professor Edmond Szekely.
Modern Man is the degenerate descendant of the Breatharian. During the millions of years that man has inhabited the earth, his environment and the many habits he has formed have forced his body to adapt itself, under the law of Vital Adjustment, to many evil conditions and harmful substances in order to survive, all of which are foreign to the body and injurious in character.
STAGES OF DEGENERATION
Every fact of living existence, the Law of Vital Adjustment, the evidence contained in ancient scriptures, all prove without an exception that modern man is the product of descending Evolution Evolution—Devolution.
The scanty evidence that has survived from the remote past, shows that modern man has slowly descended through the five stages:
1. Breatharianism.
2. Liquidarianism.
3. Fruitarianism.
4. Vegetarianism.
5. Carnivorism.
Breatharian indicates a plant or animal that neither eats nor drinks and subsists entirely on the substances contained in the air. It is surprising to know how many such plants and animals there are.
The Spanish moss hanging on the trees of Florida gets all its substance from the air, and grows very fast. The big cactus plants on the dry, barren deserts of the southwestern part of the U.S.A. get their substance from the air, their roots serving as anchors to hold the plants in place and complete the Life Circuit.

Belly breathing: Below is an actual baby doing natural belly breathing is @17 seconds. The visual is helpful.
4-7-8 count: Inhale through the nose using the count of four. Hold for a count of 7 and then exhale 8.
Tai Chi: Inhale a slow deep breath, hold in the transition of the movement and then slowly exhale.

Examples of the range of breatharianism & other snippets which may have been posted.
“If food does not produce cells, if all cells of the body are produced by the process of division and sub-division of pre-existent cells, then food does not and cannot nourish and sustain the cells. In that case the cells need no nourishment, cannot receive nor use it, and are self-existent and eternal. “
“The more highly refined a tissue is, the greater the percent of water entering into its composition. The blood is 90 percent water; some parts of the nerve system are 90 percent water, others are 85 percent, and ordinary nerve tissue is about 80 percent water.”
“Man should return to berries and fruits and become a frugivorian, and then to fruit juices as he progresses toward Breatharianism by constantly reducing food consumption and dissipating the hunger sensation.”
“Alcohol is made of grain; and the production of alcohol is in constant operation in the bodies of those who eat grains and cereal products. “
“…These vegetarians are always in an auto-intoxicated state, to which their bodies have become so completely adjusted, that when the toxic effect begins to fade, an uncomfortable feeling appears in the sensations of hunger, weakness, nervousness, headache, etc.”
“Another reason why man feels hungry is because flesh protein starts to putrefy as soon as eaten, and the sensation of hunger results from the toxic condition that rises. He eats bread, and this starchy product ferments in the intestines, producing alcohol and acids that temporarily dull the putrefactive bacteria that work on the protein remnants of the flesh formerly eaten, thus suppressing the effect of auto-intoxication, and the fatigue produced by the auto-intoxication temporarily subsides.”

- A man who fasted six days a week for thirty years. Each Saturday he ate bread and water, and his health was good. Laib declared that eating is an acquired habit and not natural, as are chewing and smoking tobacco, and he determined to prove it. Modern man subsists on a diet of demineralized substances that form dangerous acids in his body and rob it of minerals. How does he keep going on such a diet? How did Laib keep going on a diet of bread and water? Because man has always been and still is a Breatharian. He gets his real nourishment from cosmic rays, from the air—cosmic food.
Van Dellen regarded as a mystery the cause of the hardening process, and admitted that “medical science” has no remedy tor it. That made it another of the many so-called “incurable diseases.” We saw that vegetarianism is one cause of the hardened condition which occurs in the body. At the age of 79, after being a vegetarian for thirty years, Captain Diamond suffered from a serious state of ossification of tissues and blood-vessels and stiffness of muscles and joints.
After given up to die by the doctors, Diamond turned for help to Nature, to the power that made him. He discarded vegetarianism, became a fruitarian, recovered health sufficiently to outlive all the doctors who gave him up as incurable, and reached the amazing age of 120. No one can say how long he might have lived had he been a fruitarian from the first.
LIVE 200 TO 300 YEARS
Colonel Robert McCarrison of the British Army Medical Staff, reported that during ten years’ service in the Himalayan region he found no sickness of any sort in the colony of people where he was. He said:
“Ages well beyond 250 years were common. Men of well attested ages up to 150 years were recently married and raising families of children.”
“Men said to be well over 200 years of age were working in the fields with younger men, doing as much work, and looking so much like the younger men, that I was not able to distinguish the old from the young.”
There is no secret about the vigorous health and long life of these natives. They breathe to live, drink to live, and eat to live.
In “20th Century Health Science” Dr. Francis X. Loughran said:
“There are many immediate reasons why people die, but there is no underlying necessary reason that any scientist has yet discovered. In short, there is no principle limiting life.”

A Few of the Many Examples of Longevity
- The Grit of January 20th, 1952, reports the case of J. R. Costello, age 87, of Winchester, Virginia, who had just finished cutting the seventh tooth of his third set. “Dentists are mystified,” adds the account.
- Ripley stated in his “Believe it or Not” in the press of February 6th, 1937, that Joseph Crele, born in 1726 near Detroit, was accidentally killed in 1866 at the age of 140. His hair turned black and he grew new teeth.
- Calcas, of Peru, died in 1761 at the age of 140. Hilario Pari, also of Peru, was 143 years old when seen by Humboldt. Up to his 130th year he walked 10 to 12 miles each day for exercise.
- In 1927 Domingo Jacinto, Chief of a tribe of Digger Indians in California, was living at the age of 144.
- The press of February 25th, 1927, stated that in carrying out the 1927 census in Russia, census officials found nearly 150 persons who were more than 100 years old. The oldest was Ivan Shapkovsky, whose birth certificate showed he was born in 1728, making him 145. Among the oldest women was Martiana Maliarevtch, who had passed her 131st birthday. She walked 20 miles in the snow to the census office to be sure she was registered.
-Neils Paulsen, of Uppsala, Sweden, died in 1907 at the age of 160, leaving two sons, one 103 and the other 9 years old.
- Zora Agha was born in Turkey in 1774, and died in 1936 at the age of 162. He married 11 times and at the age of 96 became the father of his 36th child. He buried ten wives and 27 children.
- In the press of 1931 Ripley stated in his “Believe it or Not” that Christian Mentzelius grew a complete set of new teeth when he was 120. The case became famous in dental circles, and is known as the Menel case. It was attested to by Dr. Schengren, who was well acquainted with the circumstances.

Snippets from the Prologue from “Man’s Higher Consciousness,” by Prof. Hilton Hotema.
"…To reduce longevity to a scientific basis means that we must learn the requirements of the body and supply them. The fasts show that living is breathing. We can’t die as long as we can breathe—breathe—and we stop living when we stop breathing.
Breathing is the primary function of the body. We can live for weeks without eating, and for days without drinking, but when we stop breathing for a few minutes, we stop living.
And right here is the most neglected spot in the entire health field. Why is that so? First, ignorance; second, the claim of science that man lives on what he eats; and third, no one has yet found a way to commercialize air and breathing.
This is the discouraging condition we found sixty years ago, when we set out to learn how to live healthy and long. And so, we began almost alone to learn something about breathing and the Breath of Life.
The first valuable hint came when we found this: “If we maintain our blood in normal condition and circulation, sickness would be almost impossible. The blood is the life of the flesh. We are what we are by the influence of our blood flowing thru our body” (Bernarr Macfadden, in Vitality Supreme, 1910).
Then there came another surprise when we discovered that blood is made of gas. The gases of the air constitute the total composition of the blood.
We know that water is the product of the uniting of hydrogen and oxygen gases. When we drink water, we drink gases in fluid form. Blood is gases in fluid form. Everything can be transformed to gas by heat. The earth itself is constituted of condensed gas. There is the source and origin of all things.”
“…Creation never uses second-hand material in its building work. The protein in the food we eat never becomes the protein of our body. That protein has served its purpose, is a used product, and is never used again by Creation in its constructive work.
The living gas in what we eat is all the body uses. The rest is useless waste, and cast off by the body as feces. Hence, most of what man eats goes down the sewer.
As gases are all the body uses in making blood and bone and building flesh, consider the condition of the blood, bone and flesh that are made of the poisonous gases that saturate the air of modern civilization, where health is the exception instead of the rule. If a chemist analyzed the air we breathe and gave us his report, we would be shocked to learn the great amount of poison the body must endure to live in our polluted environment.
This subject is so broad and vital, it would take a large book to discuss it adequately. But enough has been said to make a thinking person be more careful about the kind of air he breathes, the condition of the air in his home…”

UPDATE: “Man’s Higher Consciousness,” by Prof. Hilton Hotema is referenced in your book. The most recent posts above come from his work. Small world...
Ha, Doug! Of all days to discover it. Serendipitous synchrony. http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/hug-hi-five.gif
I found it at Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Survival-into-21st-Century-Planetary/dp/0933278047/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2PHH3FFI8JSVC&dchild=1&keywords=survival+into+the+21st+century&qid=1621183826&sprefix=survival+into+the+21st+century%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-2) and it’s also archived (https://archive.org/details/survivalinto21st00kulv/page/115/mode/2up?q=breatharianism+sunshine+for+lunch) at a couple of sites. I’ve got two more breatharian books waiting to be read and I’m winding down from the research phase. But thank you for your generous offer.
There comes a point where it’s about “the doing”. That’s the phase I’m at - the doing and tweaking and learning to stay open to more doing and tweaking.
Here's the chapter, as an extracted standalone few pages.
Thanks, Bill. I'm downloading now and will hav-a-look.

Thanks so much for all the sharing. IMO there is NO DOUBT we may access life force (prana etc.) from our surroundings and the sun. It would change everything if we knew this to be true. Knowing it to be true makes me wonder about so many other questions.
I think the "light" feeds us and some can access it directly (not need to eat the light gathered by plants, animals).
Music is a kind of food. Alice Sommer Herz is a famous woman who was a musician and during her experience in a concentration camp fed all the little bit of food to her son (who also survived). She knows she was fed by the music she played in concerts (given to VIPs to show the camps were benevolent).
She is a very wise and enlightened woman. I think that word shows the truth that people are so clear they can be fed directly.

When I do my breathing exercises there is always that special, very satisfying breath, distinct from all the other deep breaths. It fills my entire being with light and energy. I often know when that breath is about to happen and I try to open my being to receive in anticipation. That breath is so fulfilling.
I can understand how such breaths, if in sufficient quantity, could sustain a being.

I just sent off an email minutes ago that said:
“I use that 4-7-8 breathing technique* enough that it’s nearly automatic. It’s a big saver when hunger or that time of day when the munchie program sneaks in to sabotage the progress.“
I don’t need to actually count it out. Now, it’s more like a rhythm. I also incorporate the other techniques demostrated above (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?105803-The-Breatharian-Path-The-Science-my-own-Journey-and-the-Ramifications-for-any-Human&p=1428561&viewfull=1#post1428561). All of them help to center, relax and become silent.
* 4-7-8 count: Inhale through the nose using the count of four. Hold for a count of 7 and then exhale 8.

RunningDear,
Everything you've shared has been so fascinating. A big Thanks!
The info on blood, gases, and energy brought to mind an old film that they ran for us in school, back in the day. It made a big impression on me, and I remember watching the entire thing in our school auditorium totally rapt. I even remembered the name, "Hemo the Magnificent".
Anyway - can't believe that this old (1957) children's educational film is on youtube. I plan to watch it again, to see why it left such an impression on me so long ago, but just watched the first 10 minutes so far. Wow - education was so much more enlightened back then.

Apologies for my absence in the past 10 months. I thought I'd drop by and see what's going on in the world and maybe update this thread as well. I see it's been insanity mostly, with pandemics and vaccines. We remain untouched by these events or by their rumors. As I always say, participation is a choice.
Firstly I would like to thank RunningDeer for all her input as well as Bill for posting the chapter on Sunshine for Lunch. At first I thought I would comment on the contents of those pages, however I believe it is not a dissection of every sentence that is really important. There is a larger underlying picture that I have come to see that I do not see talked about anywhere at all. I will get to that in a few seconds.
Before that I would like to express the bit of disappointment I have felt seeing no reaction or support for the idea of a scientific verification of weight gain on scales during pranayama meditation. As I see it it's all the proof the world needs right now, although the results would probably be withheld like those from Michael Werner's second study, or as a wider phenomenon, all the studies that have been done (with a few exceptions) into investigating weight changes from regular activities (how exercise, dropping temperatures etc. affect metabolism and how that translates or fails to translate into observable weight loss). That is why I suggested 24-hour live stream with no interruptions. We need conclusive evidence that human metabolism has nothing to do with "burning food for energy".
Secondly I wanted to add to my original list of documentaries I had found on the subject another title, Eat the Sun, that I have watched recently with interest.
Now regardless of all the testing by science and all the documentaries I believe is the utmost proof is personal experience, which is at the end of the day everyone's own responsibility. Science may suggest one hypothesis or another, providing possible explanations for where the sustenence comes from, and you may watch documentary after documentary about breatharianism without gaining an inkling as to what makes it possible. I have found that the greatest help you can get to gain a glimpse of, what I believe to be, a MUCH GREATER underlying principle, is if you watch interviews with breatharians. The best ones that I wanted to link are all gone from YT now sadly. But what I was getting at is the fact the they all give different explanations to where they gain their sustenence from. Sun-gazers say they get it from the sun, others claim it's all in the air in the form of particles or nitrogen, others claim they feed off of positive emotions, a couple in Russia maintain they live off some form of nuclear radiation, they might have some radioactive rocks.
What does that really mean? I do not claim to have the answers but the thing that comes to my mind when I observe all that is "you create your reality". If you deeply desire the freedom and independence (or whatever motivates you) that the breatharian life has to offer then you will find your own way, and it will be yours only. I have my own personal opinion of what the source of the sustenance is but I do not believe I have shared that. I believe it to be an interaction between cosmic radiation and human consciousness, essentially an emergent quantum phenomenon that occurs when certain criteria are met, the two basic of which are high-energy particles and a conscious observer with a will. But I strongly feel this is just an opinion, most probably "wrong", or at least not any more right than any other explanation. You might as well attribute it all to divine gift. I believe that's what Prahlad Jani claimed his gift to be. They all probably are divine gifts in the end, but then everything else also is. "I've sent you nothing but angels." Or something along those lines.
Find what motivates you. For me it was living a free, self-sustainable life in a peaceful community. I live that now, but it requires one's effort and participation. You really do create your reality, by your choices. Simple example, you COULD join a primitive tribe and live without money (and therefore having to have a job) if you really wanted to. Indeed, some have done just that. Or anything in-between that and how you live now. Figure out how you want your life to be. Then make your choices in accordance. You want to reduce your negative impact on the environment? Stop consuming.

Hello Roici. Glad you popped in. Same here about not having all the answers. I agree my choices create my reality. The breatharian journey continues, but it’s at a slower pace from last April. I’m gently rewiring 70+ years of beliefs. The grocery bill continues to shrink, some weeks the bird seed bill is larger.
I’m holding space for the idea that:
The body is composed of and sustained by cosmic rays either directly or indirectly, in the form of minerals condensed from the rays after they strike the earth’s atmosphere. Higher altitudes have stronger cosmic rays, the air contains more minerals to sustain the body. Also more ozone.
And here are three more sticky notes I’m pondering these days:
Eating is an acquired habit. The sensation of hunger rises from certain stimulation of the alimentary track. Appetite comes from eating. Man subsisted on cosmic elements; assimilated sunshine and cosmic rays from the atmosphere.
In complete freedom from every want, to be independent upon nothing man’s mind and senses are under control. He is released from the consequences of actions, which are bonds and chains, binding down those who are the slaves of want and desire.
Our ignorance of the body and its functions is profound. If we know so little now about the body and its functions, we have no knowledge at all as to the body and it functions. In the past when man first came into physical being, in an Environment so perfect for the body’s need, that it actually drew man out of potential existence in the Spiritual Realm to actual existence in the Physical Realm.
We must assume that in that day the Environment was in perfect harmony and attunement with the body, and vice versa, or else the body had not appeared on earth as a physical entity.

Hello RunningDeer,
Yes! Exactly. You know how I learned that? I must admit I am not entirely sure, but I believe minerals come from the cosmos. Think of a garden behind a house surrounded by fence, let's say an area of 4m by 4m. Only grass. Now let's say you mow the lawn there once a month. You keep mowing for years and years. Yet the soil NEVER seems to run out of nutrients. The grass roots keep sucking them out, to incorporate it all into the growing blades of grass, that you remove and say dispose of at the tip. Shouldn't the soil run out of nutrient at one point? Same for an agricultural field. Imagine a field any plant. When it is harvested and tonnes and tonnes of that plant is removed from the field, that's all nutrients from the ground leaving that system. Where does it get replenished from? What comes to my mind when I ask that question is a statistical data I read once, namely that the total mass of the Earth grows 40,000 tonnes every day due to the matter it gathers from space. Can that be a source to replenish nutrients?
I also agree with your three observations there wholeheartedly. I also found some of the many great interviews that I thought had gotten lost on youtube. These are true gems that show just how much research had gone into the science and the experiences that most of us never heard about. The channel is:
https://www.youtube.com/user/SupremeMasterTV04/videos
Sadly most of the great interviews I remember are not on there any more or they were uploaded to a different channel that may or may not be out there somewhere.
Of these I especially recommend Phan Tấn Lộc: A Waterian Farmer, Henri Monfort: A Breatharian Shaman, and I also recommend any interviews you may find (here on this channel or elsewhere) with Victor Truviano and especially Elitom El-Amin, so much so that I will paste a link here to his most viewed videos, just so anyone new to the subject can get a feel of the atmosphere of the lifestyle possible by living without food:
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=elitom+el+amin&sp=CAM%253D
I recommend reading the comment section. I believe we are coming to a point where the deniers are less and less and those with a curious open mind are more and more especially as more and more people gather positive personal experience that they can share, be it a successful transition or even just the personal experience of an extended fast.
Lastly I would draw the attention to this lifestyle of anyone that has had enough of the growing control special interest groups and secret societies have been carving out for themselves. These entities are kept alive by the tax money of those that have traditional jobs to maintain their addictions to food and "things" (i.e. active members of a consumer society in life-long trance facilitated mostly by ads, TV and the media in general). Imagine a world of breatharians living simple, peaceful lives in communities focussed on happy lives shared in peace and mutual respect (kind of like what we have where I live now, small as our community may be). Hard to imagine if you have been raised by a western culture that specializes in getting its members addicted to things, gadgets and consumerism by first implanting in your minds a sense of ownership and then using that as a basis building it up in you until you're the perfect consumer of the system. I am not advocating communism by the way, rather think of the simple lives of the Hadza tribe the members of which do not have even a mental concept of ownership:
https://sites.google.com/site/livingwithoutmoney/a-culture-living-gift-economy-today
Of course you don't have to live in the dirt, you can take that as the basis and then add technology that benefits us. I often think of the perfect future as it is depicted in some Venus Project videos. Like
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KphWsnhZ4Ag
A resource-based, NON-MONETARY system. It does not have to be the New World Order run on gov crypto with universal basic income, or even the Brave New World of Huxley. I believe the Venus Project is the perfect basis. It may be perfected but I personally wouldn't make many changes to it, but it should definitely be discussed and considered seriously as the way forward.
Just my thoughts again. It's up to us, the choices we make collectively. Like if we all stopped driving cars 1.4 million people every year would not have to die on the roads (that does not include the 50 million injuries, many of which is paralysis for life). Where's the rush? Work locally. Buy locally. If you are still stuck in a monetary system. Take small steps towards freedom. Start growing some of your own food if you're not ready for a breatherian lifestyle. Get an allotment. Join a homesteading community. Better yes, start one! Many have. Collect rain water. It's all we here drink here as the air is clean. (When you stop driving cars polluting your own air with carcinogenic fumes it will get better for you too.)
Don't like the system? Stop supporting it and stop voting for the wrong things with your money. It's been long enough. There's no time like the now. The longer you leave it the harder it gets, especially as things progress in the west with more and more control from above. We can stop it. Now. Move off the grid! Find your freedom and independence. Become self-sufficient and take back your power.

It’s been 14 months of slowly reducing my food intake initially from 500-700 calories to 200-400 calories most days. I don’t have an end date for the breatharian experiment. I’ll know when or if it’s time to stop.
In a nutshell, I drink distilled water throughout the day, and do intermittent fasting for about 20-21 hours and have an orange and a couple of crackers over 3-4 hours. I don't experience much hunger. I eat more as a way to transition into evening wind down time. For now, I notice the habit and understand it'll change without a need for a plan of action.
* I still eat with family and friends.
My initial goal was to eliminate the toxins in the blood, tissues, organs and cells that’s caused by rotting material and mucus and the build up of hardened deposits. It’s too much of a shock to the body to stop eating, so my plan was to take it slow.

Immortal body cells neither eat nor die. They are in the same category as the cosmos stars and planets. These cells are composed of similar electrons and atoms and molecules. It is the attempt to nourish the body that destroys it.
Acidic cells reduce cell’s electric potential. Hence, unable to respond to cosmic rays. Which in turn means: 1) mineral deficiency of cosmic minerals 2) physical weakness.
Ancient Masters didn’t worship the sun as God, but as God’s primary representative. Ancient Masters understood the physical didn’t require food. It is derived through the Etheric Body that flowed from the Godhead/Spiritual Sun.
Man is complete. His constitution is such that he corresponds with the two worlds, spiritual and physical, the eternal and the temporal. The various parts and organs of the body correspond to and harmonize with every force and element of the Universe. The neophyte was taught that scientific knowledge in the Ancient Mysteries, and it is contained and concealed in the Apocalypse. (Apocalypse = revelation; that which is uncovered. Literally means pull the lid off something.)
Man subsisted on cosmic elements; assimilated sunshine and cosmic rays from the atmosphere.
Eating is an acquired habit. The sensation of hunger rises from certain stimulation of the alimentary track. Appetite comes from eating.
Body cells are immortal. Immortal cells are above the nutrition level. Immortal body cells neither eat nor die. They are in the category as the cosmos stars and planets.
When you feed the body, cells stop producing hormones, chemicals, and nutrition that it was originally producing. It starts depending on stuff you give it to produce. The cells change to depend on food. It stops producing, so it remains dormant.
The body becomes firmly and completely habituated to stimulating effects of food.
The difference between youth and old age was a matter of chemical differences in the body and not a question of years. It’s the ossification of tissues and blood vessels and stiffness of muscles and joints.
The more perfect the body, the greater the intelligence it will express. Man is a creature of vibratory impressions received from Cosmic Rays. This makes modern man’s capacity of consciousness very small in his present degenerate state. He is dependent upon his five degenerate physical senses to contact the reaction of the Cosmos, and these senses to contact the radiation of the Cosmos, and these senses are more or less deficient while his Five Spiritual Senses have been dormantized and rendered useless by the poisoned air of his environment.

Thanks for being a wayshower.
I have no doubt that we are information and energy expressing in form. It may be a simulation? People like Dr. Joe Dispenza have people using breath coupled with new information to power DRASTIC changes in the body. I love watching the testimonials.
IF we can access Divine energy directly, we do not need food.
IMO the reason that so many people will die when there is no food lies with their inability to have FAITH which will access the flow of Divine energy. The breath BREATHES you and the Life force is everywhere..."It's ALL AROUND YOU" (quote from Dr. Joe).
What I want in physical is the space to learn what is TRUE about physicality. It is DEFINITELY WAY TOO PERFECT IN ITS CONSTRUCTION to deny it is Created by Intelligent Design. I think there is way more to experience being in form. I believe it is Divine being in form that we ARE.
Frankly, IMO all the Conspiracy rests on earth in one single idea. We are SUBJECT to physical constraints of NEED. I think you have said too that if we don't need anything external, we are unable to be SUBJECTED. The NEED for food, energy, shelter keeps us subject.
Therefore I think Divine has orchestrated a simulation where we face our ignorance and TURN to God which is Intelligent Infinity. The energy and information we NEED comes from God and we have accepted middle men telling us THEY had what we need and we must obey to access whatever.....IMO as part of Intelligent Infinity expressing as us, we receive the energy of God (even if its second hand). If we think Divine ideas and RECEIVE Divine energy directly, IMO we are FREE.
