Looking at a diagram showing where the bodies major glands are positioned:ATTACH=CONFIG]39805[/ATTACH]

It's not a surprise that they match the position of the chakras from Eastern philosophy.

Our endocrine system, comprising of all the glands in the body, which release hormones, regulate EVERYTHING in the body.

Those who meditate will most likely be feeling an energy increase at some/all of the positions of the major glands/chakras. And many who do not will be starting to feel it and wonder WTF and take themselves off to the docs for an unknown diagnosis and more spiritually dampening pills.

So if our glands are starting to be 'noticable' does this mean an increase in hormone production or does it mean a 'realignment' of what the glands produce? Or both? Then you could start adding the metaphysical aspect which in itself is beyond 'comprehension'.

So if the gland areas are 'heating up', what is making them do this? My own explanation would be the energy/frequency change due to our Galaxy (travelling@ 1.3 million MPH) entering a different area of the Universe into the Age of Aquarius - the Procession of the Heavens.

So what does this 'new' energy do to the overall functioning of the human body and its relationship to its environment/surroundings? Well the 'theories' on that are as numerous as the spots on a measles ward.

Anyone want to give their theory?

All of the theories presuppose that the material is first cause. If so then delving into the various theories might clarify comprehension.

If the material is not first cause then all theories are moot.

The main anything of the body merely points to areas of conflict, the projection of which becomes the symptons of the universe - whether personal or collective...

Therefore would it not be beneficial to 'remove' the areas of conflict by balancing our glands/endocrine system?

The Role of the Endocannabinoid System in Restoring Balance to the Endocrine System

Linda Strause PhD Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of California

"Over the last few years, cannabis and the endocannabinoid system have emerged as a topic of interest among both patients and within the scientific community. The involvement of endocannabinoids in several diseases and conditions where the suspected cause is an underlying physiological dysfunction has attracted intense scrutiny. The endogenous cannabinoid system (ECS), named after the cannabis plant that led to its discovery, is one of the most important physiological systems involved in establishing and maintaining human health."

"In each tissue, the ECS performs different tasks with the goal of maintaining homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment."

In other words it BALANCES the bodies systems. And being pro cannabis in both the spiritual and medicinal front it rings my bell!

The following lecture can give some inkling as to an overall "theory":

I'm only 20 minutes into this keynote and am loving it. Van Auken is weaving may different teachings together into a cohesive and consistent whole. Thanks Hervé
