Controversial British conspiracy theorist David Icke has been banned from entering Australia, with the Home Affairs Department cancelling his visa.

Mr Icke, 66, believes the world has been taken over by alien lizards, including some who have infiltrated the British Royal family.

He is a Holocaust denier who argues the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City were an inside job.

Mr Icke was due to travel to Australia next month, taking his latest speaking tour to Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart and Sydney.

Tickets to his appearances ranged from $55 to $75.

My son and I were at his 2011, 8 hour presentation in Santa Monica, as an additional trip to meet the consumer rights lawyer Jonathan Emord. The talk was as good as I expected. I can see solutions to the three problems raised in this thread:

1). Mr. Icke being banned from Aussieland: reapply for visa using petition(s) to back him up. If that fails, still hold his presentations, just broadcast them over live satellite link. I was involved with a live satellite video link conference in 1980, one of the very first, put on by the 'Humanity Foundation', it had an affect, though wasn't financially successful. David's probably would be.

2). Regarding poisonous aspertame (yes it is: https://www.thankyourbody.com/is-aspartame-dangerous/ ), the best thing is to use your economic democratic right and vote with your wallets and don't buy food with this crap in it. You can go further by consuming as much organic food as you can, etc. F*** monsanto/bayer. (If you read the link you will see that Donald Rumsfeld got aspertame approved via crooked politics, Australian is far from being alone in being puppeteered).

3) Ending corruption in Australian politics: hold protests, whatever number of people who show up doesn't matter. Hold the protests outside your local MP's office. Hold them regularly and frequently. Keep it up for years. This will attract attention. This will have an impact. If the cause is noble, which anti-corruption is, then you will succeed. If the next government does this traitorous move again, just keep protesting till you get a government that keeps its word. You would think that the Aussie public would be tired of corruption after the removal of 2 prime ministers who wanted rid of the US military base at Pine Gap (see the 1975 unconstitutional 'the Dismissal' of PM Gough Whitlam, and the 1967 murder of Harold Holt).

I watched studio ten "interview" (ridicule-view) also. David kept his dignity despite the sneering and snickering tones when asked over and over about being a "Holocaust denier" (David skillfully kept his integrity here with this type of reductive closed questioning) similarly with shape shifting reptiles in positions of power... Studio ten hosts were relentless--mean spirited. The majority of viewers don't enjoy seeing someone belittled, imo..even in Australia.
