Wind Map of US, pretty wild

Well here in Michigan we are bracing for winds of 45-60 mph gusts and over 70 mph on the shoreline of the great lakes starting tonight and all day Sunday. I just did a search for the current winds in the US . Check this out, I really don't know what to think of this current condition.Anybody have any comments , looks like we have a vortex right in the middle of the country. http://hint.fm/wind/

Here in downstate Michigan, the weather forecasters are certainly having fun with the “bomb cyclone” memes.

I’m not sure what it’s going to involve tomorrow, but the winds are already starting to pick up slightly. I think if there’s any lake effect with this, visibility and drifting will be nightmarish by Sunday afternoon.
