View Full Version : "They're Hoes": Roseanne Barr Slams #MeToo Accusers Who Traded Sex For Hollywood Jobs
Roseanne Barr knows what is going on. Barr used to introduce Cathy O'Brien in her speaking presentations back in the mid-nineties. If she knew the O'Brien material back in 95', think about all of the other information she has had time to correlate since then. I'm of the opinion that Barr could really blow the doors off of a lot of what is going on, she is probably afraid of getting Joan Rivered if she does.

Outspoken actress Roseanne Barr chimed in on the #MeToo movement, slamming women who willingly traded sexual favors for jobs in hollywood as hoes.
Sitting down with Candace Owens for the premiere of The Candace Owens Show (https://www.prageru.com/candace/) on PragerU, Owens turned the conversation to "the believe all women thing."
Barr said that someone defended the hollywood accusers, saying "‘[The women] were there in the room because they thought they were getting a job 15 years ago,'" - an explanation which Barr didn't find convincing.
"Well, it’s 'cause they’re hos," said Roseanne. "Like if you don’t run out of the room and go, ‘Excuse me you don’t do that to me,’ and leave, but you stayed around because you’re like, ‘Well I thought maybe he was going to give me a writing job,’ well, you ain’t nothing but a ho."

She went on to blame women who came forward with accusations against men after hotel room encounters for “pretending that they didn’t go to trade sexual favors for money.”
Barr and Owens also cast aspersions on Christine Blasey Ford, who testified against Brett Kavanaugh last year, with Barr saying she “should be in prison” and that “white woman privilege” was the only thing that kept her out. Owens suggested that Ford’s failure to file a police report at the time of her alleged assault is in some way relevant to her supporters having raised “millions of dollars” for her on GoFundMe. -Variety (https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/roseanne-barr-metoo-hos-kamala-harris-1203153962/)
Barr also slammed California Democrat and 2020 presidential contender Kamala Harris - calling her "Kama Sutra Harris" for her career-boosting relationship with then-San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.
"We all know what she did… she slept her way to the bottom," said Barr.
"We all know what she did… she slept her way to the bottom,"
I just love that phrase.

These women should have to tell their story to a group of women who were actually raped.

Roseanne introduced Cathy O'Brien in her speaking presentations??? In 1996? That's amazing. And super gutsy too.
The #metoo movement, at it's worst, casts way too wide a net and does things like conflate the egregious crimes of a Weinstein with the much lesser actions of a, say, Dustin Hoffman.
So it does deserve some serious criticism. But the critics have to be careful to not make the same errors, in terms of casting too wide a net and making kneejerk assumptions about the accusers. Anyone who trades sex for anything can legitimately be called a "ho" I s'pose - man or woman - but lets be careful not to conflate the ho's with the people who have been truly victimized. Without moment to moment mental vigilance, these lines can easily be blurred

I've watched a lot of these videos, and I'm thinking I was off on the date, this looks more like it was 10 years ago or so.
So my bad on that, being as I've watched O'Brien's videos from the 90's and I've superimposed them in my memory.
I understand what your saying on the inflamatory language used in the title, but it's the zero hedge article title and I saw no reason to minimize the impact Barr intended with her language.
I'll be honest I've been of a similar opinion that the #metoo movement is comprised largely of folks who knew what the context of the situation was when they stepped into the hotel room of someone with Wienstien's reputation after hours with him wearing nothing but a bathrobe and offering cocktails.

Continuing with how depraved Hollywood is, here is Quinton Terrintino defending Roman Polanski's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhVPwen3pk0) sex offense with a 13 year old girl by saying that the little girl was "down with it".

Thanks, DNA. Well worth the time. Here's a snippet from Cathy O'Brien:
@ 45:00 minutes - “…it was way before I could morally judge such a thing or before I had any kind of mental concept of how life should be. Instead my brain automatically kicked in. When the abuse occurred it began to compartmentalize the trauma of that event, so that the rest of my mind could function normally…”
“…The Hitler Himmler research had already determined that this was what happens in the human brain when anytime abuse occurs. And when abuse occurs where the brain begins to section off the abuse of the rest of the mind can function normally, there becomes less and less conscious mind to be able to think through exactly what is happening.
They were very much interested in this because if the traumas are repeated enough and there's enough compartmentalization created in the brain, then the subconscious mind is left wide open to be manipulated and easily led. That was what they wanted for mass mind control in a society. It's what they wanted for the that kind of Manchurian Candidate attitude. And for being able to manipulate ultimately the politics of the planet as well as the population as a whole.
These experiments that Dr. Ross referred to were so heavily going on when I was born in 1957 that by the early 60s mind control was in full swing…”

And Mark Phillips said" you don't extract information using torture, you program information IN using torture".
Sheds a slightly different light on all the CIA rendering sites around the world. Where do all those suicide belt wearing muslim bomb slaves really come from ?

I cannot agree with you DNA because I personally know few women who wrote and got into the #meetoo movement. They are regular women. The Hollywood group is just a tiny subgroup of the whole movement, albeit quite vocal and having a big public image.
When you look at statistics, it seems that 1 out of 3 or 4 women have been raped in her life. So, #meetoo was filled with those women. Hence, called '#me too', because it happened to so many women.
It is hard to imagine how much of a prey women are and how much violence there is towards them, when you are a genuinely good man.
Women have to constantly think of their protection, while walking in city streets, while working, while going to the park (there they protect their children as well), it is just incredibly more difficult than for men.
My daughter was telling her genuinely good boyfriend the streets she would walk on at night and why she took x and y detours, how she behaved in the subway and why, etc etc. (she was followed last week while going to college in full daylight and physically pulled - a genuine good man was looking from the other side sidewalk ready to intervene, so the puller stopped - this is happening to almost all women in cities - my daughter was so grateful to that nice man - push it a tiny bit and you have rape. And Montreal is pretty safe compared with other large cities). Well, her Swiss boyfriend thought Montreal is terrible, instead of thinking it is women situation worldwide that is........ ah! men!
I am actually working on a lodging project for women, and believe it or not, one of the main violence against women comes from their landlord, building handyman, janitor, or male neighbor. They get into women apartments to rape them, mostly when they hear the women's shower going, they know she is vulnerable and won't be able to defend herself, nor hear them getting in. Mostly done to immigrant women, handicap ones, very young ones.
Those are the core and the bulk of the #metoo movement.
None of them were raped for wanting a job or knowing what was coming.
How unfair that women have ALWAYS TO THINK TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. This constant thinking would make men crazy, you would not believe how much of our energy goes into protection.

Absolutely great points Flash, you are correct it is a bigger movement than just Hollywood, and due to the points being raised by Roseanne I was wrongly locked into the Hollywood mindset. Great points!

I enjoy Rosanne's informal posts on YouTube e.t.c, she reminds me of a gritty working class woman who has 'had enough bull****' and intends to speak her mind. My mother was rather like this.
