Why do celebrities flash “Illuminati” hand symbols etc?

Please pardon me if this is in the wrong section. Also I use the word Illuminati loosely as that is the going narrative whether it is true or not.

The hand symbols I am referring to are the devil horns, “a-ok/666” hand symbol and triangle symbol made with both hands. I’ve seen this often enough in enough similar circumstances to be convinced they are shown intentionally at least a portion of the time. Who are the symbols directed towards? If it’s a secret society, why would it be worth blowing their cover? Thanks in advance

Yes, it's very curious, and a good question. Sometimes it surely has to be accidental, or contrived by an over-enthusiastic blogging accuser: if you take just the right freeze frame of someone on video waving their arms around, you can probably make it look like anything you want!

But I agree: there do seem to be just too many blatant instances from the usual suspects, often at ceremonies or public occasions when they KNOW they're on camera.

Many artist on the music industry are making songs that's exposing the illuminati. My take is that this celebrity is trying to educate the masses

Good question. I think it is mainly forced upon them by their managers/owners.

Many think it's cool 0.o and don't know what they are doing.

Also hi and welcome to the forums. I know what you mean these symbols were everywhere in media. I watched wrestling as a kid and it had me throwing up hand signs (wolfpack) and rooting for the new world order. Monkey see monkey do.

Well, that's the least significant and most innocent of all of them. It commonly means that everything's A-OK, and scuba divers reading this will know it's the standard hand signal for 'everything's just fine'. (A 'thumbs-up' sign from a fellow diver means that they want to go up to the surface, so that can't be used to show that all's well.)

Why only care why celebrities do this? They're just people.

I make hand signals sometimes, and it's not always intentional. I see it as a form of body language.

Also the same signal can have all kinds of meanings, like with the diver signal. If you give him a thumbs up he will think you want to go up.

For me, that signal doesn't associate with the devil or Illuminati, it associates with music. It's the signal people make when they hear a really good band play. We call it "Rock fingers".

I think it's probably a case of monkey see, monkey do - like Strat said. Which monkey started it though, I wonder? 😀

Haha I almost am embarrassed to admit “Jax realm” is a screen name I’ve used since I was a kid that I haven’t yet shaken. It’s from a song by the band 311 that alludes to the concept of chance. Perfect for a kid playing video games though now I’m not as sure!

Thanks a lot for your responses thus far. I’ve done my YouTube due diligence (haha) on this topic and have gathered that these symbols are considered to be as what a number of of you have said:

1) copy cat fueled
2) mistaken observations made by overzealous observers
3) marketing ploy (ratings booster)
4) “shout outs” to spiritual entities in exchange for success etc
5) “shout outs” to some sort of shadowy Hollywood boss type (in exchange for exposure), showing the astute observer or aspiring celebrity that success in this market comes solely from doing what “the boss” says.

Option 4 is most mysterious to me. Do any of you think this is possible?
