View Full Version : A new Corey Goode livestream: Who ARE Edge of Wonder *really*?

So this is actually my first thread here on Avalon, and I cringe a bit because I'd prefer it to not get divisive, if possible. Looking around I'm seeing that Corey Goode will be doing a heavily-promoted livestream tonight on "Edge of Wonder", a relatively new YouTube channel that has a massive following built around (oh jeez) Wilcock, Q Anon, pro-Trump, Jordan Sather, satanic cults, "the secret communist cult of the Deep State" (really?!?!), etc etc. I know that Goode did a few other videos with them around the time of "Above Majestic", though curiously his video showing a heavily debunked photo of a "secret space program" vessel seems to have been taken down.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0Ful3obxMk
I'm just linking this for reference, certainly not as an endorsement.
This brings me to ask if anyone has followed any threads to figure out where this seemingly organic right-wing on-camera duo with extraordinarily high production values came from, where did the *money* come from, and why they are pushing ancient fear-chestnuts about communism while also giving the recently-shunned Goode a new platform to speak from?
Thanks in advance-
-Jay

Not to go too far from my own thread topic, but I'd also like to point this out (I don't know if anyone else noticed this here): in a post at the end of October, David Wilcock himself actually finally (albeit briefly) opened the door to the possibility that Corey's narrative did not /does not actually occur in physical reality, which one might also take to mean that they potentially aren't, you know, real events.
https://divinecosmos.com/davids-blog/22143-moment-of-truth-q-anon-discloses-secret-space-program/
Regardless of whether Corey’s experiences were literal, tangible realities or dreamlike telepathic messages, they nonetheless were very helpful. (I do believe they took place in physical reality.)
Of course he feels the need to point out that he thinks they were helpful regardless of whether or not they actually took place (long pause for emphasis) in physical reality.
Thought it might be a good evening to highlight that little quote.

I realize that Bruce Lee was a heavy proponent of keeping a cool head, but I wonder if he might have had a similar reaction if he were still around and knew the context, ichingcarpenter.

Good question!
It appears quite like a “marketing for the sake of marketing” revenue generator, that is, a group or company that finds a trend and hitches their apple wagon to it, focusing heavily on marketing versuses product/service R&D.
Want a blue shirt?
It’s funny this should come up - I was touring the Meyer May house yesterday, one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most enigmatic creations, and noticed there were several gimmicky additions added to the construction at the direction of Mr. May - like a central vacuum! Meyer May was a successful clothier, but had quite a thing for gimmicks, as the tour guide so aptly pointed out in frustration.
There’s a certain percentage of the population that adores trends, gimmicks, advertisements, and all the sparkly stuff that goes along with. It’s an entertainment - a comfort - a pulse to be checked - a socio-awareness. There’s a strong market for 5:00 AM infomercials - plenty of regulars, just like at the pub!

I was first exposed to this show a couple weeks ago, when watching a DW interview. ugh, these 2 cupcakes are an utter embarrassment:facepalm:. I literally laughed out loud at one point when Ramsaur actually refers to them as "journalists". They come off sounding much more like David Wilcock's gay butlers.

the production is quite sleek and professional, but the whole thing is utterly f#cking plastic, obviously. it has some money behind it, clearly, and i'll be curious to see where it all comes from once our detectives get on it

I understand character flaws and see issues with Wilcock and Goode but I don't feel the same about them like many here do.
That said, I have often wondered (no pun intended) about these "Edge of Wonder" guys. Seems they have too much money backing them, are too organized, and are too connected to just be a couple of basically "starter guys" in this field and get as far as they have. They do seem highly suspect IMO.
But WHY? I don't stay up with them but they do seem to talk about all the great and necessary topics. So, if they are working for bad people then what is going on?

The only way for this to end would be if DW and CG have a spectacular fallout between them and they start dishing out each other's dirt but they are both in this "Truth Business" for the money so I would't hold my breath too long because they will always be jumping on any new trend to keep themselves relevant.

WOW, "Bob" my insider actually told me about the Qabal, Antarctica, QaNon, Trump, Cosmic Disclosure and the uprising of the white hats. He also confirmed that he was subscribing to the same newsfeeds, RSS feeds and watching the same youtube videos as DW and CG. "Bob" also said he also had google alerts on so many keywords and other ufologistis, conspiracy researchers, youtube channel hosts to keep him in the loop and ahead of the pack so I could offer to charge mega bucks for a ticket to hear what "Bob" was feeding me. Sorry, but I dont think either of them have insider contacts, they just subscribe to a lot of feeds, sites and channels and spend as much time reading and watching as they do misleading, misquoting and fabricating. IMO.

The Epoch Times is a multi-language newspaper headquartered in New York City. The company was founded in 2000 by John Tang and a group of Chinese Americans. The newspaper covers general interest topics with a focus on news about China and human rights issues there. It draws from a network of sources inside China, as well as Chinese expatriates living in the West. The Epoch Times is widely distributed in overseas Chinese communities, and has been publishing in Chinese since May 2000. It is either sold or distributed free-of-charge in 35 countries, including various intranational regional editions. It has editions in English, Chinese and nine other languages in print, as well as 21 different languages on the internet. Weekly print editions are also available. A typical issue includes sections for world and national news, op-eds, sports, entertainment, business, arts and culture, travel, health and automobiles. The Epoch Times websites are blocked in mainland China, but people can access the newspaper using VPNs that function in mainland China.
[…]
English The Epoch Times chair Stephen Gregory said in 2007: "It's not a Falun Gong newspaper. Falun Gong is a question of an individual's belief. The paper's not owned by Falun Gong, it doesn't speak for Falun Gong, it doesn't represent Falun Gong. It does cover the persecution of Falun Gong in China." Associated Press reporter Nahal Toosi wrote that it is "technically inaccurate" to say that the Falun Gong organization owns the The Epoch Times. However, many of the newspaper's staffers are Falun Gong practitioners. Toosi noted that "many observers" have said that Falun Gong uses the newspaper as part of a public relations campaign.[
Canadian scholar Clement Tong wrote that the The Epoch Times "operates as a mouthpiece for" Falun Gong, despite the absence of an official statement of affiliation with the movement.
In 2008, David Ownby, director of the Center for East Asian Studies at the Université de Montréal and the author of Falun Gong and the Future of China, said the newspaper is set up by Falun Gong practitioners with their own money. He describes The Epoch Times as wishing to be taken seriously as a global newspaper rather than being judged on the basis of its strong association with Falun Gong. He wrote: "Epoch Times is a newspaper with a mission, that of reporting on issues bearing on human rights throughout the world, which allows for considerable focus on China and Falun Gong."
While many individuals involved in the production of the newspaper practice Falun Gong, according to sociologist Zhao Yuezhi, it seeks to present itself as "public interest-oriented" and "independent of any political and business groups ... objectively and fairly reporting facts and truth." Its reporting on Chinese affairs often highlights negative news about the Chinese government and coverage of Falun Gong in a sympathetic light. In this view, the paper articulates Falun Gong's views on a range of issues, and may be part of a de facto media alliance with democracy activists in exile. The newspaper has been described by some scholars as a mouthpiece for Falun Gong, connected with the group and carrying sympathetic coverage of it. A spokesperson for the newspaper says it does not speak for the practice.
ENTERTAINMENT MARKETING is just business as usual for Rob and Ben’s TABLOID JOURNALISM - "Edge of Wonder".
Rob Counts creative project may be connected and endorsed by the Epoch Media Group and I imagine will continue to do so if it is driving dollars into the coffers with a sideline tabloid section; if these facebook links from Epoch Media Group to "Edge of Wonder" are anything to go by.

I know for a fact that you can game the viewcount, subscribers and likes on youtube if you got the money to spend. Viewcount helps your videos get to the top of searches. I first noticed a few years ago this with Corey Goode videos where the video came up 3 mins ago and already started with 1200 views and the video was 20 mins long? Most of the videos did not have any comments either and all videos started with almost the same numbers of views before you could really view the video.
.
These guys from epoch times know the system and have had $ backers and robo helpers. Now they want to have a ufo conference with ''all your favorite presenters'' in New York City where epoch times is located... gee what a coincidence.
Yeah it makes you go hmmmmm?

ROB COUNTS (EDGE OF WONDER) TWEET 18 MARCH 2019
https://twitter.com/robcounts/status/1107657222853660672
There's a reason I call it Fakepedia ... They changed Tiananmen Square Massacre ... which it was ... to Tiananmen Square Protests ... A disservice to my friends who were fired at on the Square and who's family members were killed.
Reply to Comment: Hey thanks so much. But that's why we do what we do. That's why all of us who know it are speaking the truth
With close personal contact like this it is easy to understand Rob's passionate activism for exposing “fake news”. But when coupled to the financial rush that successful creative marketing provides it is easy to see how “due diligence” on who is actually creating “fake news” flies out the door; and the lines of integrity can become blurred.
Tiananmen Square Student Demonstrations was in 1989 - 30 years ago. The students fired upon would now be approx. 50yrs. If Rob's friends were fired at and their family members killed then I imagine they could be friends of Rob's family or he has come to know them through his employment with Epoch Media Group; at any rate it is seductive marketing for garnering sympathy, trust and sustainability of current (and new) followers.

MOST of my contacts happen telepathically. I have seen craft physically, met a few beings in person, and been in one craft, yet the rest was ALL telepathic. So I have to question when others suggest EVERYTHING they experience is physical in nature. (But this description would stand to lend appeal to a larger audience as most claim their experiences are less than physical, even Greer suggests as much...)
The tech that they have, whether interdimensional, extra terrestrial, or inner terrestrial, is so advanced that it could be compared to magic. So why would someone go so far to try to give the impression everything was PHYSICAL, yet they still have no tangible proof? Most real experiencers will tell you, their experiences happened where beings manifested in front of them, that they were someone pulled out of their bodies, etc.
Yet he gets strapped into a child safety seat? I have yet to hear of a ufo with seatbelts. The mere fact that someone else is now litigating with him over the supposed use of THEIR dreamtime experiences and communications HINTS that he is well aware MOST experiences are absolutely NOT physical. With each point made against his testimony, he tends to distance himself from the facts that true experiencers DO KNOW about how these things tend to play out.
I would suggest that is an indicator that at BEST his experiences are NOT physical. If even his at all. Seems anyone who has reached out to him, (because he was sharing true accounts of others that people may have recognized), most that have shared with him have later found their information included magically into the story Corey was weaving. I made that mistake and gave him a few details of my own experiences.. They were honest details, but I was extremely disappointed. While I have no proof, because I used a website chat box to share those details, many do claim to have proof of this. It's just sad...
David would know this.. And I think many more would actual believe him if he suggested that these contacts happen this way.. . Because MOST true experiencers have experienced this "dreamlike" environment where they're wide awake yet elsewhere. They're just lacking their physical body.
I can't explain it, but the phenomenon is very real. Yet the kind Mr. Goode seems to be very different in this regard.
This is just my opinion on this particular issue. Hope you don't mind I added it here.

David is disturbing on so many levels in this video Mike..They have been doing human trafficking busts for years now, the WORST thing they could do is come out and tell everyone, as everyone would go into hiding. Then he goes on about getting movie rights, putting the kids on tv, SERIOUSLY? This guy sounds like he is a money hungry greedy "Star seeking" hound. And it's terrible.
Everyone could be a "HERO" he says, the money potential is "immense" or whatever he says. I really got sick to my stomach just watching .. He wants to profit off of the pain and horror of what these people went through, he isn't trying to disclose, he is trying to profit from it. And this video just completely took away any hope I had for Wilcock at all. The media is treating the subject with some RESPECT.. The people involved with some respect. He got his information, but that's not enough. Sad...
I have no more respect for David. Thank You for sharing this video, it changed everything I wanted to believe about him.

Thanks so very much for the research, Gemma13!
One curious thing that brings up: back in the ol' Cosmic D days, DW/CG made a large point to credit folks in the BRIC (Brazil/Russia/India/China) for their "Alliance" connections. Corey even once said that he had an active offer to get taken to Antarctica the old fashioned way, by boat, via some folks affiliated with the Russian government.
Now, after a time I took that to generally mean that either some folks feeding them info were Russian "Internet Research Agency"-adjacent folks (potential Q psyop world, etc), considering DW has done paid gigs for Russian state TV (RT), or that they were just BSing. Now, they're conveniently aligned with Edge of Wonder, which has been pointed out by Gemma13 is owned/produced through Epoch Media Times, which has close affiliations with Falun Gong, a Chinese spiritual group that is actually very much banned in China.
So this kind of points back to a level of intrigue that is of interest but also in some ways not worth the attention: they used to give BRIC a bunch of credit and are now working with a group that hides its association with a group that has actively worked to combat the Chinese government and its policies.
So here we are back at a different, slightly more informed level of square one, where I still wonder if they are active disinfo agents of some type, useful idiots or just longstanding fearporn bulls***ters that have found their audience.

I have watched to many many Edge of Wonder videos and overall they are quite good at wakening up people but do not really produce much, if anything, novel, original or new. They are likeable guys and production values are quite good. The greatest benefit to our community of inquiry is that they can help awaken younger demographics in a fun and engaging way.
I am DEEPLY disappointed that they have anything to do with Corey Goode....at all. Sadly, I have no way to communicate this to them.
As they are quite well versed in many areas I expect they may actually follow several leaders in alt community so perhaps a "senior" member of high standing could reach out to them at some point.

Just on a sidenote
The Edge of Wonder boys went to the Hawaiian Big Island dolphin week conference where CG, Dr. Sala and others attended.
This must have cost a bunch.
The conference costs $1200 no housing
The flight from NYC to Hilo costs $700-1000 including transportation to and from the airports
Car rental $ 35 a day plus gas
Air BNB $99-$300 a night
Food/ Restaurants $$$
Miscellaneous $$$
Or as Mel Brooks said its good to be king
or maybe just follow the money
