At the moment 50 viewers to answer Bill's live question, who's viewing? (38 guests 13 members) - one can see the ratio there of viewers - what would be great is to see a distribution spread across the planet where folks are viewing from

I think Bill's thought about this get-to-gether being something regular, carried out in different parts of the world is a good one. Most certainly many folks wouldn't want to wait a whole year for that chance to meet up face to face.

Lot's of folks would like to attend such get-to-gethers and just can't get away from work, or other issues block their opportunity to attend. Live-Streams most certainly help let folks at least view from their locations.. A great gift to the family :) Thanks so much Bill and TargeT

Watching live today, it seems we're seeing a format of "speaker's presenting" as a theme. Which leads into an idea of a conference, which is often done by groups with large followings.

USPA, the original Global Sciences Conference all started with a handful of friends all gathered together in a small room to share experiences. And such things, the small get-togethers, blossom from there, bringing in speakers from around the world all with their message and experience to share.

Who knows where this could go?

I just got through hanging out with the last remnents of the group, Chris and his wife, blue green, just in time and me and Target were the last folks at the bar. Truly wonderful people, I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to have met and consider friends. A truly wonderful time. Bill said he would do this again and I absolutely think folks should jump on the next one if they can. Much love to all who participated.

Very good after hours conversations every night, this one was no exception; these nights definitely were as impactful (or more) than the day time talks, but that often seems the case.

That was truly worth it. I can barely believe how much of a nice bunch of people we are. Intelligent and filled with heart, all of us. Plus fun liking. A must meeting if it comes back.

All I can say is that I ended up loving ALL of you. Everyone at our mini-con was a kindred spirit, including those I may not totally agree with at first. Thank you all for being there. You are all family, and now that I have seen and been a part of this, I can say that with conviction. Some of us (not myself) really had to climb a few mountains to be there. It really is different when there are real people attached to our avatars. Turns out that we are all only humans (I would have loved to have met some aliens). I hope we live long enough to continue helping each other grow and learn. Although my main interest is UFOs, it appears inevitable that understanding this phenomenon requires a much bigger brain than I currently possess. It is remarkably challenging to tell our diverse individual one-offs. For me, comparing stories and then trying out new theories of growth must be what it is all about. God (or whatever goes these days for a higher deity) bless you all and thanks for the existence of this forum.

Oh, and it turns out that I continue to be mistaken for our Axman, who turned out to be I think a better human being than I feel I am. I hope to become as wonderful as he is!!

I prefer not to be included in the presentations of ourselves video. Flash - but for other videos during the other times, that we hear my voice or whatever, it is fine.

The camera wasn't rolling on day three, just days one and two. I am sure Bill will be emailing everyone soon to sort something out regarding what we as a group and/or individuals want to do regarding the intro video.
You know Bill, he is always so extraordinarily considerate and caring when it comes to members.

I really do wish that everyone could meet Bill, he is the most selfless and compassionate being I have ever had the honour to spend time with.
I feel truly blessed and humbled.

As I sit here at the airport waiting for my flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, my heart feels full to overflowing from your kind words.:bearhug:
But truth be told, the whole is always bigger than the sum of its parts and I really felt as if I was just a tiny part of something much bigger than any of us as individuals. Together, we felt like a force to be reckoned with. Oh the joy I feel when I remember the energy of us all being together. The harmony, the power was so so palpable!

You were all like the magic glue that brought everything together, made everything happen and without you all there, none of this would have happened.


There is another post somewhere from Herve mentioning how Bill made it home just fine (I'm just too Las Vegas fatigued to go look for it at the moment) but I also heard from Bill too (I asked him to let me know when he got home) and Bill will be following up with a report soon regarding Mara that I am sure will delight and amuse you all. :bigsmile:

Regarding footage, privacy and the live stream, we need to respect 3 viewpoints.

1) Avalonians who cannot afford to be in the USA due to not having enough money or time. Many of us would have liked to be there or just watched on a livestream.
2) Avalonians who don't want to show their faces for whatever reason.
3) Avalonians who need privacy and don't want their stories recorded.

The only solution I can see is:

1) Put a camera and mic in the corner of the room pointed away from the group. This means it's optional to have your face or words recorded.
2) Have sign above the chair/table where the mic is, so people clearly know when they're being recorded.
3) Tell the group clearly when they are being recorded, and when they're not.

Putting a mic and camera in the corner and recording the group from a long way away is an awkward solution as it doesn't work for anyone... Next time, if there is a next time, find a couple of Avalonians with IT skills who are flexible and listen to feedback from everyone, and you are set. Then have a host in the miced chair talking to everyone. I would love to hear the stories of other people on this forum as I think they are far more authentic than most whistleblowers...
