If he was really powerful, he would plain ignore them. I honestly find Jordan Peterson vs Random Lefty of The Month a little wearing sometimes. I hope he doesn't get mired in this too much, as he is in danger of wasting his time. Also, while I think these ppl are kind of dumb, I think it's unproductive to get involved in an Us Vs them Spectator war. Basically, if you've got a blog with more than 15 readers, someone's gonna hate you. That is the way of the world.

He really shines when he on his own, reminding people of their soul mission. Ignore it, Jordan, ignore it... you can do better than dance to someone else drum.

That said, Im gonna watch that vid now. ha.

EDIT: After 10 minutes in it got incredibly repetitive.

Same theme as usual here. If Peterson or anyone says something that makes people feel uncomfortable, a certain group of perpetual victims want to say that he's oppressing them somehow by making them feel uncomfortable things. They wrongly equate uncomfortable words to physical violence and fascism, which is how they justify going out and "punching a Nazi" or lashing out in some other way, simply because they have no self-discipline over their own emotional reactions.

You can see by the things she is screaming that this woman clearly feels like she is the victim in this situation, even as she causes completely unnecessary stress for the airport employees. Why? Because they made her feel things, and she obviously has no control over her emotions.

In the interview above, the caller similarly believes that it is Jordan Peterson's responsibility if someone misinterprets or misunderstands Peterson's words. Just imagine trying to go through life at the mercy of every idiot you come across, who could misunderstand or even claim to be offended by anything you say, and then you are punished for it. It's just like YouTube's new policy of deleting videos and punishing content creators if someone else posts an offensive comment below the video. This policy is already in place and many YouTubers have disabled comments on their videos as a result of it. It's insane, except if you are actually trying to shut down free speech. Then it makes a lot more sense. And that is of course what they are trying to do with these policies.

The Orwellian trick is to make freedom (including freedom of speech) seem like it is actually a form of oppression or fascism, by shifting the definition of fascism to ever-more minor "offenses." People are generally too well-off in society today to inspire a communist revolution the old-fashioned way, so they had to invent the term "micro-aggression" and hype that up as literal Nazism. In reality, fascists in the old days were known for kicking people around and mandating public activities through physical force, instead of allowing free speech and transparent democratic processes. Free speech has always involved the risk of offending people. That's the whole reason why it has to be protected, not to protect kissing other peoples' asses all day.

It is no wonder they feel it is absolutely necessary to shut down people like Peterson so that the fragile worldview they have constructed can't be challenged with logic and reasoning. Like Alex Jones says, if people realize they have a choice between real freedom and totalitarianism, and see things from that perspective, they are going to choose freedom every single time. And that's why this perspective can't be allowed to mature in people.

I do agree with Daozen in that Peterson is at his best during his LECTURES. Some, such as the one where he discusses the concept of the man-child I consider will go on to become classics. Far more productive than watching him deal with some leftist moron that just wants to heckle, sneer and interrupt at every opportunity

As a Kiwi, it disgusts me that eediots like "Mr/Ms Iris" & the "Auckland Peace Action" even exist in this country or get the time of day let alone a "platform", (and if anything or anyone is threatening Kiwi Values, it certainly isn't Jordan Peterson; it's uneducated, misinformed morons like this - they DON'T speak for the majority of Kiwi's)! :facepalm::p

It is plain depressing for me to listen to these people, it is like they missed out on a vital component when they were assembled. Jordan for me is like a sensible uncle, the insights and apparently 'novel' wisdom that young people are responding to is just a slightly more academic version of what parents used to dispense throughout the previous decades, but stopped transmitting around the 1990's it seems. This isn't quantum physics, or esoteric mystical exposition, Jordan is Human Being 101.
