RIP: Veteran Researcher BILL HAMILTON has passed, in October 2014.

Bill Hamilton — a very good man, a friend, and an outstanding researcher — is no longer with us. I'd suspected this for a while, and it was confirmed to me by someone I met at last week's UFO Mega Con event. His date of death was 20 October, 2014.

As best I know, this has gone almost unnoticed in the UFO community, so it's my privilege to report it here where many can read the definitive news, and also to honor him. I had extensive private correspondence with him, and he was Project Camelot's first interviewee.

He was one of our many heroes, and he'll be missed by all those who knew him.

And here's an interesting little epitaph. As I was typing that last sentence, a beautiful butterfly arrived out of nowhere and landed on my keyboard. I've just released it outside, where it can be free.

A very good man indeed.

Befriended him in 1990. Attended (and recorded) almost all of his lectures in the So Cal area up till he moved to Phoenix. Also knew his lovely wife Pamela well, even assisted her in research of her MILAB experiences. Been to their house, shared many a meal.

From everyone I spoke to it was agreed he was held in the highest regard as an investigator. Stellar reputation. Having to consider the strength of his reputation would be an important factor in a mutual investigative interest I would experience later in my life.

I had never heard of him, but I'm definitely going to check out some of his work now.

Sad to hear he passed. I hope it was as peaceful as it could have been for he and his loved ones.

I am sorry to hear that wonderful researcher BILL HAMILTON has passed on... I did not hear about this until today. I interviewed Bill Hamilton before I interviewed Bill Ryan! I guess you could say he was one of the very first Project Camelot interviews I ever did (there are a few more) before I met Bill Ryan.
As it happened I interviewed Bill Hamilton the day before I interviewed Bill Ryan! I am very proud of my Bill Hamilton interview. He was a stellar witness and his stories resonate every bit as mucch today as then. Watch here and remember him!
